The rooms were large and had a stove in the room. The general use areas were nice and the dining are seemed nice. They apparently allow pets and for the last third of the tour a dog was constantly barking. The hallways were not as wide as your might want.

Have found that there are not a lot of great options out there. My mother is most likely in her 3rd and final place. At Gulf Coast, staff was friendly, but things didn’t get done. Meds were an issue, along with services they were suppose to provide, but didn’t. At the Windsor, meds were an issue the first few months, but have now seemed to have gotten straightened out. Cleanliness of rooms seems to be an issue at each place. The squeaky wheel eventually gets things fixed. I’m there all the time, I just feel bad for the residents who don’t have someone advocating for them all the time. Unfortunately, the staff that works the hardest or has the dirtiest jobs are the ones not appreciated or paid well. Because of this, most good employees/nurses go elsewhere for just a little more in pay.

Nice enough folks. Not enough care givers. Old style technology. You can push your pendent and wait for 45 minutes to respond. Dangerous stuff

The staff was very friendly. The small er size of this facility is appealing. However, it doesn't seem to be a good fit for our loved one's needs.

The Asst. living side was nice. good size rooms & setting was pleasant. We ware concerned that is one of the private dinning rooms we saw plastic items left on the stove top and not removed. That's a fire hazard. otherwise we liked it. The memory care side is another story. It was dirty, out shoes stuck to the dinning floor, the tables were a medd, a wheelchair was stored in the dinning and the kitchen counters were sticky and dirty. Not impressed at all!!

pleasant staff Mon-Friday, but a weekend visit there is much smaller staff. Clean, upscale look for a 10 yr old complex. Dining room with linens, salon. Negatives, small garden area, no exercise room, one activity room. Pricy for the services offered.

My wife was here for about a month then I had to bring her home. They billed you separately for everything so it got to expensive there. But the staff was nice and helpful. She would eat well 3x a day. It was clean in there and cleaned her room 1x a week. I would recommend this place if you have long term insurance.

I was looking for a facility for my Wife and we were able to tour this community. The administrator who gave us the tour was very nice. The building itself looked great and it was brand new. What I really liked is that they have a great courtyard and even a bowling alley. The only reason why we did not go to the facility is that the atmosphere and people felt too plush. I would recommend this facility to other families.

I toured the Legend at Fort Worth, and it seemed like a very nice community, but this one to me seemed like there wasn’t enough hands on, face to face between caregivers and residents. My mother needs a lot of care, and I wanted to be sure they would get her dressed and out of her room each day. I could not tell if they’d ever make her leave her room. I wanted to be sure she had opportunities to be social with other residents, and I wasn’t positive this community would offer that.

We toured the Legend at Mingo Road and the staff showed us around and let us know what was offered to the residents. The room that they showed to us was not as well-kept as we were anticipating. We chose another community based on our care needs for my dad.

We toured this community and.we did not like the rooms that needed to be updated. The appliances were not updated The staff were very nice and seemed to be willing to answer the questions that we had. We did not like the environment and felt that it needed a lot of changes.

Based on the whole package we liked the community the most. At first my mother had been contacted by them and they made her a lot of promises for my dad's services. When we toured we were not as impressed with the facility and the way our questions were not answered. I felt we could not get a word in as the representative kept over-talking. As a package it was our favorite, the location and staff seemed like what we were looking for.However they backed out when we proceeded to move in.

The staff is constantly short handed and residents will sit in the Halls waiting for attention. Response time to requests is not quick. Meals are bland and diversity is not included. Will serve poultry twice in one day. Generally, the staff that is there on a regular basis, is helpful and courteous.

Poor experiences with General staff, care staff, beauty shop. Activities are way above average.

A family member has lived at this facility since December 2016. We as well as many of the other residents are very disappointed with the food and food choices more than anything. Due to this the amount of waste is unbelievable. The facility itself appears quite clean, however the smell of urine is many times evident in the corridors. The people and caregivers are very nice and friendly, however it is basically assisted living without assistance. As soon as assistance is required the price goes up. The activities are the same every day, bingo, movie, crafts and are very juvenile. Sadly, this center is very convenient to health care so I most likely will not be moving to another facility.

This place was bright and cheerful and very well kept up, but not as warm/friendly as other care centers. We felt that residents were clients more than family, but were well taken care of.

My brother in law is still adjusting to this community, but we do feel comfortable with his move here. It is a nice community with kind people. The staff is very friendly. They do a good job keeping everything nice, and clean. My brother in law is a point where he can't really do activities, but there some available for the residents. The meals are great. He loves the food, and is eating very well. So far everything is moving in a positive direction for us here at this community.

facility had pleasing decor, clean, well kept,small outside enclosed garden area, would have liked more space. Staff friendly and welcoming. Month to month rental of units. Negative feedback on extra charges.
