Legend at Broomfield had terrific, caring staff, thoughtful activities and excellent facilities. I wish they'd been able to provide more personalized care for my father with dementia, but overall we were very satisfied.

It is a very clean place. The staff has some really sweet people that really care. The food is good, it is set up like a little cafe. The room sizes and layout of the community are good. It was a positive experience.

Please have a advocate for your loved one, confirming everything is in place when moving them in. We secured our moms apt. mid December 2019, moving her in mid January; we were told medication etc was all in place. Her meds were not ready, cleaning took 10 days to begin and we were overcharged for 1st and 2nd months rent.

The Linden is clean, and the staff do their jobs well. My mom is well taken care of, and I have less stress as a result. Could you ask for more?

Beautiful facility, new and well kept. When we first moved in the food was really good, definitely would consider it “Gold Leaf” but it is going downhill quickly. Breakfast and lunches are pretty good but the evening meals are not very nutritious and not very well thought out. Seems like things are kinda just thrown together, need to be serving more vegetables. Seems like in the evenings and night they are running short staffed. The facility in now almost completely full and We don’t see that more evening and overnight staff has been added to help with residents needs. Hoping changes will be made soon to bring things back up to where it was.

Very nice a friendly staff, willing to go that extra mile to accommodate you. With that being said I would recommend Windsor for loved ones who do not have mobility issues which requires a lot of assistance and have a voice for themselves. My mother was left in dining room way to long after others had been taken up to rooms for night. On days they took her to her room they just put her in the room and left her while taking care of others. Agree someone has to be first and last but putting her in a chair and turning TV on would be better than just pushing her in the door and leaving her. They left her in her wheelchair from time she got up til she went to bed. Mom had a pressure sore in two week!

They have been most welcoming and when I have complaints they are very responsive. The administration seems to have been there for a long time. Caregivers have a better than average turnover. It took a while for them to have a routine for mom (putting in teeth, etc.), but someone comes and sees her pretty often. I'm not impressed by their in-house doctor [name removed]. Time will tell if the doctor just made a few mistakes at the beginning of his service with mom. It's only been a month plus, but mom hasn't been able to make friends. It might be that she doesn't quite feel "herself" yet. Give it time. The staff could encourage her to socialize a bit more; that may come when she feels like she has more energy. I'm glad to live near to be her advocate.

This is a fine facility but there is room for improvement. The biggest problem I see is turnover of help. I have seen so many good employees leave for a better paying job. The food hasn't been very exciting but Chef [Name removed] assures us it's going to get better. I've wondered about bringing in a franchise from a good restaurant chain

I toured this facility while looking for a place for my Mother. I really liked the person who gave me the tour. She seemed really nice and was very knowledgeable. It’s a very nice community and they had a nice courtyard outside. The apartment I was shown was a little on the small side and the building needed some updates. I didn’t pick this facility because there is a major highway not that far away and there was a lot of traffic. I would recommend this facility to other families.

very nice facility and friendly personnel - have a very good activities program - somewhat limited on medical aid and therapy -their food could be improved a little but is satisfactory - they have a very nice snack room and small movie theatre - they have a laundry room and a hair dressing room - the actual rooms are very nice

It was a nice tour the staff was great and answered all of my questions. It was to far from my home so that was one factor.it just was really small apartments. And a little outdated. I had to choose another community.

My parents have been at Legend at Mingo Road for about six weeks now, and overall, I would say the community is just alright. It’s a nice place, but there are definitely some things that need improvement. First, they really do need to improve their food. It’s not good at all. Second, there is a large employee turnover, especially with the lower level employees, and I really think they need to be better trained and better supervised in general. Overall, it is very clean, and they do have a lot of activities, but for the money, they should have more competent staff and better food.

I toured Arbor House while looking for living options for my mother. I thought that it was a nice place, but it was a little older than some other communities I looked at, and it was much bigger. I was afraid my mother might get lost there. I ultimately chose another community for her care.

This is a brand new community and they are still working out some kinks. They have an extensive menu, however they have had a turnover with the chefs so sometimes the food is not as good. The staff seem tired as they are still trying to learn. The people that work here are very friendly. Mom has made friends and we are hoping things will improve as more residents move into the community.

With my mom's personality being taken into consideration she really loves the place. She is doing well and being taken care of well. For me, I would like her to engage in being more social but that is not my mother's personality. She won't go into any common areas for fear she will have to sit and talk to people. The community for the 4th Of July had a wonderful picnic that the residents and their families were invited to join however due to previous commitments we not able to but from what I was told it was very nice. The staff is wonderful especially the executive director [Removed]. In the beginning of the process, he responded within a 48-hour time frame to my inquiry and spent the time listening and addressing all of my concerns about my mom and her challenges. After speaking with him and doing extensive research there was no reason to tour any other communities I had found what I was in need of to ensure my mother was well taken care of and to give me the piece of mind.

It has been fine for my mom. She is happy with her room and they way that we set it up. Currently they do not have an activities director and they can re-vamp and variety to their meals. They stray from what they advertise to the residents. Use a lot of gravy, pasta, rice, and canned fruits. The community has many people in the Assisted Living side which she is getting use to.

The staff at the Legend at Tulsa hills are friendly and the place is clean. The main thing is that I wish they had rooms that were wheelchair accessible. It is hard for my loved one to do certain things because the rooms and common areas are not designed for wheelchairs.

I was not happy at the end of my tour of the Sunrise Senior Living. The lady that took me around, [Removed], was like a car salesman. When I was leaving she told me "you'll be back". She did apologize to me after but the place was not a good fit for my loved one.

This community did not seem as nice as I would have thought for a newer community, The rooms were smaller and it was a little more expensive than the community we chose. The staff were nice and knowledgable.
