We chose Arbor House because they looked the cleanest and the most attractive. The facility is very classy and when you walk in you feel like you are in a hotel. The residents looked well cared for when we went to tour too - they were dressed nice and their hair was done. I do think the staff could improve on their patience, my loved one says that they seem impatient when they are helping her to get dressed. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

The staff has been extremely supportive with helping my loved one transition to her new living arrangements.

We chose Atria because out initial experience was very good. We were looking for something that was not a traditional nursing home. This facility is close to where my daughter lives and she is able to pop in and see him regularly than if he were at home. They did not disclose everything at the beginning, I am picking up on things as I go along. For example they do have a van to transport residents to appointments, I found out they only go within a 10 mile radius. It also only runs Monday through Wednesdays from 10 to 2 and that was not something that we were told up front. I do think they should disclose more of the smaller details in the beginning.

The staff are wonderful but the food is not good at all. I would recommend them if the food was better.

We're thrilled our loved one has a place like this to go to. They seem to know what they're doing. There's a little bit of us not knowing what they're doing - all the details of her care. But they're willing to speak with us and give us updates. We would maybe just like to have a little more feedback from them on a regular basis. The staff are very friendly and very capable, and I believe they do a good job. And the facility is very nice - it presents a very nice place to be involved with.

Sunrise of Upper St. Clair is a lovely place. I would recommend others to have their loved ones there.

HarborChase of Palm Harbor is a great place.

Grounds beautiful! Good food, big helpings, great chefs! Friendly employees! Maintenance team very helpful! Friendly clients! Food severs are pleasant! R.S. director "always" has time for us! Apts cleaned once a week! Laundry on request! Parking for cars! Great pond!

I really liked Sunrise of University Park. The facility was a little bigger and pricier than what we were looking for though.

We have had a few bumps in the road when it comes to our loved ones medication and the overall communication with the staff but we are working on that with them. Everyone is super friendly and helpful there which we really appreciate it. Our loved one eats in a dining hall that is specific to that floor and seems to have a little less variety of choices then the main dining hall on the first floor. The activities are still a little limited due to covid but based on the experience we have had so far with The Waters we would recommend them to other families.

We toured with [name removed] a few weeks ago just to see what was out there. She knew my father wasn't ready for anything serious, but we just wanted to see what was out there. My dad isn't ready yet, but enjoyed the tour.

I had the chicken fried chicken which is something we love to eat here! They know that I don't like gravy, so I feel that my meal is always specially made just for me.

Our tour experience with Anthology of McCandless was nice, the guy who showed us around was very accommodating. It is a lovely, bigger facility and they had a lot of activities to offer. It is a lot like a lot of the newer places and just felt a little too cooperate for us. We were looking for something smaller and more homey feeling.

Legend of Allentown is a beautiful home. for someone who is new to needing memory care, I still had a lot of questions after my loved one moved in. that was a bit uncomfortable, but it has gotten better. as of now, communication is only done on my request or initiation. as far as activities they do encourage her to engage, she likes some of the activities and there are some she wont participate in. I do think that they are adequately staffed for the number of residents, and their memory care unit is all on one floor. I feel secure that she is safe there. I would recommend this community to others.

They have so many different activities offered to the residents - they have movie nights, manicure Mondays, poker and every other type of game you could think of. They have Wii bowling, corn hole, and happy hours during the week. They have different outings during the months, this month they go to the library and last month the residents went to the Butterfly House. They have bible studies and different church services. They have afternoon socials where the drink tea and have biscuits. They have exercise classes everyday, and once a week they bring in some type of entertainment. They have activities all weekend long which is one reason we decided to pick The Landing.

We went with The Regent because it had more amenities offered and the pay was all-inclusive. They do things such as providing a shuttle service to take residents place, there is a nurse on staff 24 hours, and there a lot activities provided as well. The apartment sizes are really nice. I like the fact that they try to pair new residents with people who share similar interests. They also try to get people involved in meal times rather than being isolated in their apartments. I would recommend to others looking.

My loved one was here at this community and it was very nice but the rooms were too small for my loved ones needs.

Our tour at The Linden was fine. I thought it was a good place. It was just a little too big for my loved one.

It was a nice, clean set-up. The staff was friendly. What little time my loved one was there, I think she enjoyed the people.
