We chose Sunrise of Upper St. Clair because I felt it was much more of a warm and inviting environment. I wasn't looking for a super big place, so the size appealed to me. When I walking in I saw a staff member interacting with a lady who was upset and she handled the situation well. That spoke volumes to me. I would recommend this facility to others

Mom moved in about 4 months ago. She is doing great! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They will do whatever they can to help your loved one get acclimated and enjoy their life. There are plenty of activities for the residents and the place is always very clean.

As a resident of almost two years, we've found the staff, from the Director down, is excellent and always willing to help with a smile. The kitchen is not as good as it should be, or was previously, but the servers are super, both efficient and friendly. The varied apartment plans should have a layout of your liking. The building layout works well with bright, wide hallways that makes it easy to get around.

All of the staff is amazing. [name removed], who is in charge of marketing and intake, was very helpful in getting my mom into the facility. The only issue we've had is it is catered more toward an older clientele. So for my mom, who is almost 75, the activities feel too old for her. She needs more than just exercise with a beach ball. But otherwise, it has been an outstanding facility.

They are starting to build the activites back-up. It's a newer community. They are keeping the residents engaged, and working to help them be more independent. They could improve on the communication. Eveybody is very friendly, and we are happy with the progess that we are seeing with my loved one. My loved one is getting a lot of interaction, and has made new friends.
