Staff responsive. Food is good to OK. Meds delivered on time. Overall care by staff is good. Nice residents.

The the staff is good but there is a lot of turnover with the new ownership. Staff and management are very helpful and always go that extra bit.

They have been amazing with my dad. They really look out for him. He needs help with staying clean and they tend to him and change his clothes every four hours. They are very nice when we visit as well.

Like most facilities of this kind, I think Ashton Commons doesn't have enough staff. I realize that it's a difficult line of work, and it's often hard to keep enough staff on hand, so I'm not sure that this is a criticism of Ashton Commons specifically, but of assisted living/nursing home facilities in general. Most of the staff is very kind and caring, but there are not enough of them to go around, particularly on the weekend. The facility itself is beautiful, and my mother is very happy there. I also think that the administration is probably over worked, and there have been several things that have slipped through the cracks that just make me wonder about efficiency and competence. Nothing super serious though.

Very clean, nice apartments. , I would recommend it. It's been a great piece of mind to have someone look after my mother and provide her medications to her.

They discontinued shuttle service for medical appointments months ago & that was one of the main reasons I chose Sunrise. Also, they are selling to a new company in a month or so, so that's unnerving.

We're very pleased with the room and physical layout of the facility. Staff are very friendly and professional. Definitely would choose Legend again.

We have been bought out by another entity. Slowly good changes are being made. New landscaping and painting main areas of the building. Refreshing the Pearl Restaurant. Updating decor. The staff is very responsive to a resident's need. They don't drag their feed. In addition they gladly help you find the specific help you need. They are friendly and sincere.

My family has been really impressed with the facility and the staff. Every time we stop by it is always clean and the staff very friendly. I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars only because it seems to take the meals getting to the table too long. I wonder if it could be sped up by having residents order ahead of time like they do at the hospital. Just a suggestion.

They were very good to him before he passed but lacked a little keeping him clean.

I was very happy with the way they made me feel welcome. They put my name on a welcome sign. Nobody’s ever done that for me before. They have a really well rounded facility. There are things to keep the residents busy if they so choose. Their apartments are well kept up and the menu changes daily. They also have a well lit reception area. I really liked the globe with the coloring. The water looked gray. Never saw one like that. It was a nice touch.

The tour provided a good look at the facilities and services. Staff know residents names and seem to genuinely care.

Lovely people., well appointed, have had difficulty at times with medical staff .Dining! Tablecloths, real dishes, Nice menu, many choices daily. Variety of rooms to choose PRIVATE. Lovely outdoor area, carpeted halls. They are cleaning constantly. No odors. Staffing is always an issue in this industry especially on weekends. General staff always jumps in and helps to fill any gaps. It takes special people to be caring and patient.

The monthly cost quoted during interview, was not the same when we signed the contract. It had increased [Amount Removed] If I had not already moved my sister in, I might have considered another facility. Staff: The week day people were very helpful with moving large pieces into my sister room. The room size is great, and clean as is the whole facility. Activities are wonderful. It seems everyone enjoys the entertainment and group classes. Can't speak of the food, didn't eat there, but their coffee is good. The weekend staff was a bit standoffish, not much on communications. I would tell future clients to complete all documents prior to occupancy.=20 It might be traumatic to relocate someone ??.

I really like the friendliness and cooperation of the staff and residents. I like the facility' design and functionality. I like the food choices and the dinning facilities. I'd like to see faster response from staff to residents who call. I'd like to see more consistent attention paid to day to day housekeeping duties. ie laundry, room straightening etc. I'd like to see more activities geared toward men in the facility. Most activities seem to be geared towards women and not interesting to the men.

The sales staff was very informative and helpful. The community is very clean and modern. The support staff seemed to enjoy working there.

Beautiful and well-kept property. Daytime front desk ([name removed]) was a gem. Maintenance staff was e extremely available and helpful. Can't comment on dining room specifically but food seemed pretty good.(mom was very unhappy and stayed in her room) Resident director was helpful, particularly at the beginning of what was about a three month residency. Laundry 'lost' a load of mom's clothes and a set of sheets. Explanation was less than satisfactory. All said, it was not a good fit for my 95 year old mother, but there are some very happy residents there.
