The staff is very friendly. But the attention to detail and follow-through is poor.

This is a beautiful, very clean, well maintained facility. Housekeeping is once a week and pretty good. Laundry is once a week and returned the same day. My loved one participates in a lot of activities and the outings that they have. The meals seem to be somewhat repetitive (for example: chicken several days in a row). Generally, I think my loved one is in the best place possible. No place is perfect, but things are going well here. It's a real nice place and cleaner than home. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

This is a good community. There are times the resident will have to wait longer then expected for for caregivers to respond to the call buttons. The staff communication with the family and friends has been good when we have questions or concerns. There are three meals a day served and there are choices to choose from for the residents.

The people and the way they present themselves really stood out to us here. Lots of activities. They just made you feel that you would be in a safe and happy environment. Housekeeping is included but had some minor issues and now assessed.

Response time can be challenging on occasion. They seem to be short staffed. When searching for a place for your loved ones you don't know what you don't know so ask every question and address every concern!! Assisted living facilities try to make "cookie cutter environments" fit your needs and they just don't.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. My mom feels safe there and has made a lot of friends. There are a lot of activities. They do a lot for the residents for holidays and things like that. I like that the families are always welcome to join in on activities/parties as well. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Lenexa to other families.

When deciding on a place, we expressly asked about staffing and were told there was very little to no turnover. As it turns out, they are now having staffing shortages, so some of the services that we're paying for are not getting completed in a timely fashion. I will say that Legends is doing everything it can to keep up with the services promised, And they have always gotten them completed. But we have had to call them and ask that they complete the services before they get done. Otherwise, it's truly a Ritz Carlton style of living in Topeka, KS that we didn't expect to find there. And overall, we are very very pleased with Legends. It is truly the best, and we could not be more thrilled that our mother is there. We just wish they would get the staffing issues worked out.

My loved one moved from assisted living at a different facility to memory care here at River Oaks. As a fairly independent resident without a lot of care needs, there are a lot more limitations in memory care than he's used to. And they're not quite up to giving someone like that care that's targeted towards someone like him. The other memory care residents aren't cognitively able to interact with him very much, so it's been hard. But he's a compulsive walker and is able to safely walk the halls in the memory care unit. And the people there are very nice.

Not enough staff. Follow through isn't great. They only have life alerts in the room. At the price all residents should be. Wearing life alerts at all times. The main staff are wonderful, caring people. Food is fresh and very good.

I toured this facility and it was ok. Cleanliness was good. They offer a full bar.

There is inconsistent staffing on the weekends. But it has been more consistent in memory care than on the assisted living side. The activities people are great. They're always doing something with the residents and do a great job keeping them engaged.

They have done well with the medication management. We picked this community, because of the location and cost. My loved one likes the community. They can improve on the cleanliness of the rooms, and housekeeping. Overall, I would recommend to other families.

Great at getting my love done to meals. Meals seem to be improving. Could improve in giving my loved one reminders to use bathroom. Also facility needs to replace washers and dryers. Laundry seems to be an issue. Staff really care about my loved one, and are very kind to them.

Making changes daily. I'm able to be alone or be around others when I want to. I feel limited to the places (trips) we go to. I would like to have and see other options.

I like the friendliness of the other residents and the ability to meet new people. I would like to meals with better and more options. I think highly of staff: [name removed] are exceptional and go out of their way to learn everyone's name.

We picked this community because, it was the distance from our home. They could improve on communication. It would be nice if they had transportation for the residents.

Our tour at The Windsor of Venice was really good. They seemed to offer the same kind of care as they place we chose. In hindsight it might have been a better decision because it was a little more of a lively place. On paper, for the price, it seemed like a good option. We chose based on proximity to where we live.

I have found William Bend staff to be caring and very wonderful.
