The facility staff has improved significantly over the last few months. My mother seems quite happy in their memory care unit. I feel very confident that she is in a safe place that keeps her engaged in activities. Rooms in memory care are on the medium size. My mother is in a double so she has a roommate and they share a bathroom. That arrangement seems to work well for my mother. I'm able to sleep again knowing my mother is well cared for and happy.

Staff very friendly but had food service worker who was rude on several occasions not good! Place is neat and clean overall. But individual room could use some work. Caregivers need to do more to get seniors out of there rooms. They have many activities but they leave seniors to meet people on their own and don't get them involved enough. Meds very expensive. Overall though I am happy with the decision and really like it for my aunt!

Overall experience dealing with A Place for Mom is a 5. They follow up a lot. After a while I did not respond. We chose Crescent Fields based on your recommendation. Crescent Fields is clean. Very friendly staff. I have not eaten the food but it appears that mother likes it. I don't know if mother participates in activities. So I cannot rank this category. Mother has gone to the hospital twice for pneumonia. She aspirated. Don't know if Crescent Fields can mitigate. We now have hospice care provided by an outside company. I rank crescent fields a 4 for quality of care for now. I rank Crescent Fields a 5 for cost value. It is half the price of Luther Woods because there is no 24/7 skilled nursing care, which is ok for now. I am a hard grader. 5s are rare.

My Mom is very happy at The Windsor. I would recommend the place. Mom has a deluxe room and there's plenty of room. Double closet with sliders. A nice size bathroom walk in shower. Her room looks out into the garden. There is a kitchenette with frig and microwave. She happy with her room.

The could improve things by reducing odor and using vinyl covered chairs rather than fabric. The room sizes are good, and the amenities are ok.

I would recommend others to go there. My suggestion is to get the menu for the week if there's anything your loved one likes or doesn't like. My dad is being a bit standoffish about going to the dining room. So the meal is defaulted to the daily entrée not a menu choice.

fantastic value ; best in Bucks. My biggest compliment is that the main staff that is here, including [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], and [name removed], are overall extremely engaged and truly caring. That cannot be faked, it is authentic, and it permeates why this environment is thriving, and why you see more laughter and overall enjoyment on the faces of the elderly here, as compared to most other facilities I've experienced.

The facility is lovely and cheerful, and the employees seem mostly devoted to their work. So far my mother seems reasonably content. My only qualm: I travel a lot, and can only visit my mother on the weekends (usually), so 2-3x I've emailed the main nurse on my mother's wing--asking how Mom's adjusting, behaviorally and otherwise--and she's yet to respond, even briefly (and I've made it clear that a very brief response would suffice: "a line or three").

[name removed] the activities director is very personable and compassionate, Also [name removed] Mom's caretaker o believe CNA ,always always hard at work . The cleaning staff has been very good also.Appreciated.

I would recommend them to others. The only thing I would say that needs improved is the shower in my mother's unit. We picked them because of the value for the price. Plus a smoking area close in.

The front desk and the dining room staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. The business office helped with the Long Term Care company and was always speedy to return your calls and answer your questions. The head of nursing always kept you informed of any concerns. My loved one had to move because she became a two-person assist.

The staff was very helpful The facility was well kept. The rooms were nice and my mother enjoyed all the things the staff planned on a daily basis. The move in was easy I only wish they were closer to where I could visit her more.

My Dad resided in their memory care area. They also offer assisted livingMost of the time that my Dad lived there it was called Harborchase and under different management. Believe the change over occurred in June of this year. From June forward I'd rate a 4. They were making a number of facility improvements. Don't know how that would end up translating into monthly cost increases when rates are set for 2025. I am sure the facility is refreshed at this point which is good. I'd say that one of the biggest issues is with staff turnover. Not suggesting it is better or worse than somewhere else - these are difficult jobs. What I do know is there is a core set of caring, hard working individuals that do their best. I certainly appreciated the care they gave to my Dad. I would recommend this place to others.

This is more specific to my situation, but I think in situations like mine where I was putting my mother there because I was 800 miles away, I would have liked to call and get updates on her easier, but I also understand that my mom made it difficult for staff to do that. Also, I wish they would have been a little more bluntly honest with me. I knew my mom was causing some headaches, and I wish they would have just told me. They wouldn't have hurt my feelings and I wouldn't have been offended, I know she can be a handful. However, without anyone telling me, I wasn't able to address it 1-on-1 with my mom. All of those things are minor, we had a good experience overall

A couple of the girls are not helpful and mean! The med techs don't call back always and don't seem to care so much! The place is beautiful, the food is great! Most of the staff are nice and helpful

This is our first experience with any memory care and/or senior residence. I picked Arbor House Reminisce because it was small (48 residents - 12 men & 24 women when full. Small is good and bad. The good…my husband does not get lost , bad …..not many places to walk, good is they have two garden areas with chairs. Limited space. As small as it is , you get to know all of the caretakers in all of the areas because they switch areas a lot. The caretakers are nice and most of them seem to really care about their patients. There seems to be a lot of employee turn-over, but most businesses are lately. The caretakers that have been there a while are the ones that care a lot. It is a very hard job caring for people in their last stages of life. All in all it is a very nice place. Is very clean and very rarely smells bad. Rooms are small and bathrooms are shared between two rooms, which my husband does not like. There is one shower room in the hallway for 12 residents.

*Really pay attention to how you are dealt with and how each admin. staff leaves you feeling. *Pay attention to Senior nurse in how knowledgeable they are. *Speak up when you feel or sense something is off or your request or concerns aren't being acknowledged.

Within the first few minutes of us walking in the door, we both looked at each other and said "this is it!" Everybody was super friendly, employees and residents, it didn't smell, the kitchen was good about my mom's gluten intolerance, great activities director and activities! My husband and I have already told our sons to put us there when we need assisted living.
