My grandmother is staying at The Regent, and I really like that it is a bright, comfortable, pretty new facility. I also like that everything is centralized so it is easy to find your way around; a manageable community. The food is excellent, the facility is very clean, and everyone, both staff and residents, are happy to be there. They also have a lot of activities to keep the residents’ minds agile. I think my grandmother is very happy here, and I would definitely recommend The Regent to others.

My mother is in memory care at The Windsor and we have had a very positive experience. The staff is accommodating, attentive and caring.

My husband is living at Signature Senior, and so far, the experience has been very good. I love the cleanliness of the place. It is new, and it’s only about 60% full right now so they don’t appear to have a lot of activities, but the staff is very helpful. The person who processed us for admission was extremely considerate and patient. The quality of the food is also fine, but the variety could use improvement as my husband doesn't like fish or chicken. It took him a while to ask for alternatives, but it seems the kitchen staff is willing to accommodate when requested. Overall, our experience with Signature has been positive, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

My Mom has been a resident for approximately three years in the memory care unit. I chose Windsor because of the friendliness of staff and cheerful interior design (Didn't look like a doctors office or hospital). Management and staff are extremely attentive to any issues I have had which have been few. They provide field trips and entertainment for the residents frequently. I have became friends with several staff members who know me by name and go out of their way to speak and update me on my mom. My hat goes off to [Removed] who works the front desk, she is a blessing. She has went out of her way to assist me on short notice with doctor appointments and other issues with my mom when my job prohibited me from being there. [Removed] and her entire staff have been great!

We placed my father into Windsor when he was in mid stage dementia. He was angry, didn't understand why he had to be there, and even what the place was. They were very patient and nice to him. While he grumbled until we had to finally move him to a Hospice facility, he was always complimentary about the people there, as well as the food. In the early stages, when he was a 'flight risk', they kept a good eye on him and kept him from venturing too far. There are a number of activities to participate in, unfortunately he tended to refuse to take advantage of them. Many residents did, and it looked like they were having a great time. The staff were always willing to listen to any concerns we may have had, and were very patient with us as well. The facility is very clean, appealing and comfortable. My mother would eat with him several times a week and loved the food. I was very happy with it as well. They helped make a tough time much easier to deal with.

My father is now living at The Windsor after spending time in a rehab for a fall. I live in the Midwest, so finding a place where I could trust the care my father is receiving and the communication I would have with the staff was very critical. The staff at The Windsor has been fantastic in communicating how my father is doing, and his activities. The physical therapist touches base with me every week to keep me informed of his PT progress, I receive texts with photos of my Dad doing fun things. I even get an occasional video of him saying hello...all of this from the staff. I have peace of mind because of their going above-and-beyond the call of duty to stay in touch with me. He is healing quickly from his fall.

it is clean in this community and the staff have respect for one another. i like that everyone likes each other and the residents are excellent people. The staff are helping me get better and now I am using my walker within my room.

This is a very nice facility! The staff are attentive and the facility is safe and well maintained. We have not run into any issues with Windsor, so we are very pleased with my loved one's stay!

The staff at The Windsor have been taking very good care of my wife since her move in. She gets good food and a bath every day. From my point of view, I recommend this facility because they do a good job. The administration is top of everything. Trying to find a good place is a big job and I think I found a good one. They have good food and her medications are always on time. They have a little beauty shop there and she gets her hair done once a week.

We toured this community. A beautiful community. The staff was always nice and friendly to answer the questions we had for the good care. They offer a nice menu of meals that are healthy. They have good activities for all the residents to participate. This is a community that I would recommend to others for care and value.

The Legend at Capital Ridge was a very nice community. We liked it a lot it was priced much higher. It was very open and a good experience to tour it.

My wife is currently in the memory care unit at this community and I have been happy with the care she has been receiving so far. The staff seemed to have some miscommunication in the beginning about some things but that problem was quickly solved. She doesn't say much about the food they provide her but I have noticed that she eats everything that is put in front of her at meal time. When she was at home she was barley eating so this was a huge improvement for her.

Sunrise of McCandless is not only a very beautiful facility, but first and foremost, the care they offer is outstanding. Excellent care provided as well as excellent, attentive staff to provide that care and support!!

This community is truly beautiful. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. The rooms had an apartment feel to them. They had a kitchen bathroom and a lot of storage space. The place overall had a positive atmosphere. I would recommend this community to anyone.

I cannot say enough how much we like this community. We have good communication with the staff. They were able to find medical issues that the doctor missed. My grandparents like the food and the care. Their only complaint is that the transportation bus is bumpy. The community is clean and it is a reasonable cost. They offer a lot of programs and I would recommend this community.

I am so pleased with the help I received from A Place For Mom. Everything was so much easier after I called. My sister and I were overwhelmed with the task we were facing. I was searching for places online when I saw your name. I decided to contact you. I was a little bit leary when I had to enter email address and phone number because I've done that before, only to be enendated with junk mail and calls. However, that didn't happen at all. Instead I received my first call within about five minutes of my online contact. Paul was very curteous and extremely helpful. In a few minutes I received an email with a list of places. We chose Brookdale in Hutchinson, because it was significantly less expensive than anywhere in Wichita, and the distance is close enough that I can easily go once a week or more if needed. The place was very inviting, friendly people, cozy environment, the residents seemed happy there, and I didn't hear anyone crying out like I've heard in other places. They have lots of activities and encourage family involvement. I was expecting anger or tears from her when we moved her, but was thrilled to see her obvious pleasure in the place. She was truly happy when they brought her back to her room and she saw her own furniture and her own pictures hanging on the wall. Upon visiting her three days into her being there she said she "liked it, and besides, it's kind of nice being waited on." (I had been waiting on her at my house for the past two years, but I guess it's different when it is someone else, or better yet, several someone else's.) She is enjoying all of the activities and is genuinely happy there. It thrills my heart to see her smiling face every time I go visit. Thank you, thank you, thank you, A Place For Mom, for making this transition so much easier.

This was a good place for my dad when he needed the assistance. He did move out into an independent living community. This community was clean and the food was good. He liked it there, however since this is for assisted living it is a little more expensive than the community he is at now.

We have had no negative contact with staff. The facilities and food are A+. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking assisted living. By: Son of resident.

Arbor House Reminisce was the right choice for my mom. She is doing very well since moving in. She is eating better and she enjoys the variety of food offered. She is actively participating in the activities available for her to choose from. The community is very clean and is well kept throughout.
