As someone who has toured numerous facilities in this city, I can honestly say this facility is the upper crust! The staff is friendly, helpful, and smiling. Too often, these types of facilities are housed with low paid individuals who seem more bothered than accommodating. The facility is gorgeous in appearance. It is super clean and there is no smell. This place is very near major travel arteries and very easily accessed. The amenities seem to be a notch higher in quality than you’ll find elsewhere. They have additional assistance available on-site should you or a loved one need a little extra help. You will also notice that the scene seems more alive. Other places sometimes feel like “ghost towns.” That is not the case here. There are always plenty of activities and outings to attend. A lot of places the food is miserable. This community actually gives you a choice most meals. I would highly recommend this place should you need retirement living, or even retirement living with a little assistance, in the OKC area. Trust me. You simply aren’t going to find better for the price in OKC!

It was a family decision to put my parents in The Windsor at Ortega. There was a lot of back and forth discussion among the family members, and we decided on The Windsor at Ortega. Everybody there is super friendly. My dad was very resistant to the idea, but the people at The Windsor at Ortega have bent over backwards to help my dad adjust. He's a 92 year old ex military man who is pretty set in his ways, nevertheless he is adjusting well. Everybody there is very helpful and they are doing very well.

We had to make a very difficult decision after the Dr's. At senior diagnostic center did not feel she should go home because of her dementia. I had been working with a counselor at A place for Mom. She helped me in the decision making. Legend for the last month has worked with mom getting her settled in. It has been a positive situation.

She likes it and seems to be doing really well. The staff is helpful and friendly. She likes the food and the people. They have stuff to do, and I heard that they have a new activity director. She hasn't complained about anything really. Overall they are doing pretty good.

My mother loves living at The Wellington. She experiences being cared for by all employees, from the administrative staff to the housekeeping and dining room staff. As an older person feeling respected is essential for emotional, mental and physical health. She has it all at The Wellington.

I've been very impressed. They regularly check up on my mom. Everybody has been very friendly, and the building is beautiful. The dining room is luxurious, although my mom has been a little disappointed in the meals.

We are very pleased with Emeritus at Gainesville. The staff is so friendly, caring and willing to help. Mom says she feels like she's "being spoiled". She also is very involved with most of the multitude of activities offered. She enjoys the weekly outings. Overall, we know that she is safe and happy. We no longer worry about her. We appreciate Susie for all of her guidance and caring as we made this decision. She was a great help and I would highly recommend her.

The most important thing is that they are not a skilled nursing facility, so if the patient has diabetes or another condition, they really – I met with them up front and told them my loved one was diabetic – they said they could take care of it – but they aren’t licensed to check blood sugar and make decisions about medication. I moved my loved one.

Overall, everything seems to be going well here for my loved one. We had another relative that had lived in an Emeritus location previously, and that was a pleasant experience, so we decided to use them again. They seem to be doing well so far!

It was beautiful, and they seemed to be very attentive. Everything was very elaborate, they had a guest bar with deserts and such. It was overwhelming for us, like a 10 star hotel with too many decorations, and was just too overdone. It was very upscale, and just not a comfortable environment for us.

The cleanliness, the friendliness, it is gorgeous. It is like being on a cruise ship except you are not rocking. She has done bingo, she helped create the Christmas ornaments, she's done caroling. They have someone to come in every week to play piano, and there's wine and cheese on the weekends. The other thing is that when I called Dawn, who is in charge of the admissions, she invited us to lunch before my mother came and saw the place. The food is excellent!! My husband were very impressed. I think they could improve the disbursement of medication; it's a good thing my mom has all her marbles because she knows how many pills and which she should be taking. She's has had some issues where she has had to send people back to get different pills. Overall, we are very happy. The Windsor stood out as a step above.

My siblings and I are very happy with Sunrise Senior Living in Upper St. Clair. My Mom seems to be pleased as well.

Toured the facility. It is not a five star resort, but then the prices reflect that. The rent is month to month, and the apartments are not furnished, but furnishings can be supplied. Pros not too big that a person can get lost, easy access with two elevators, nice court yard area with screened lanai. The facility is geared around social interaction, and encouraging people to mingle and talk. The various amenities include lots of living rooms with televisions, games, a library, a small "spa", a "gym" with a treadmill and recline bike, and several types of dining areas ranging from a place to get a cup of coffee, a more formal dining room, and a "kitchen" style dining area. The apartments are small but laid out well with features such as nurse call pulls, a spacious walk in shower, and hurricane windows. A nurses station provides care and the staff can set up doctor's appointments as well as arrange for transportation to and from doctor's offices, they also deal with medications etc. The staff are friendly, and not all the residents are wheelchair bound. [removed] I did smell the faint scent of ammonia/urine in places, but I can't be certain if that was from the facility or not.

My medium-sized one bedroom apt is REALLY CUTE and AMPLE. I live upstairs and I overlook the courtyard. I get to see the dogs running around!! The staff is friendly. I haven't had time to do many activities yet. Sometimes the daily meal special is not too great, but you can order from the left side of the menu. The laundry room and storage cage are VERY close to my apartment. I love it!!!

One consistent comment among staff and residents is the overall friendliness/atmosphere of Crescent Fields. Another positive is the upkeep, the grounds and in general the Maintenance. In short I have always been happy with the community! I checked out 7 other senior living places and Crescent Fields 4 times!

My experience was very informative and eye opening on the size of apartments for the price and the amount of of amenities provided by the providers. I found the apartment to be very small for a two bedroom home. We are going from a 3800 Sq.ft home and outbuildings to an apartment of 900Sq.ft apartment, we have to down size a whole lot. Therefore, the Regent doesn't have enough space for us and besides we don't have transportation to go between storage units and Apartments. Thank you for your time and patience.

Some of these are hard to answer since my mother-in-law has dementia. Can't be sure what tells us is or isn't reality. My main concern is attention. I don't know if they are reminding her of and taking her to activities. Or if they are and she is refusing. She wants to move home because she says she's bored. Overall seems like a good place. They are a bit higher than some of the Tulsa communities and offer less, but Sand Springs is as far away from Mannford as she would move and she liked it the best. It's a very nice community. The outside activities are pretty limited so something to be aware of. For my mother-in-law thats good. For my dad that would have been detrimental to his mental health. So obviously would depend on persons personality.

Taking a tour would help you decide. A friend of mine lived here, so I was familiar with it.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff are friendly and caring. Smaller community than where my father was before. Yes we would recommend this community to other families. I have had billing issues with the main ownership office since my dad moved in, and they have not been responsive. Difficult to get them to respond.

I like Acclaim Living and I feel quite independent. The variety of services are good: variety of foods in dining, weekly light housekeeping, transportation to medical appointments, errands on Monday afternoon and Walmart each Monday morning. There are also a variety of activities to participate in This facility is pet friendly and I was able to adopt a dog for my emotional well being. Many health providers have met with residents to make informed choices related to their needs. The only down side I see is that there are no counseling resources or mental health providers available. I think this vitally important when new residents with severe adjustment issues have no resources. Another issue is when residents lose loved ones and may need grief counseling.
