Ridgecrest of Cranberry is clean, quiet. The staff are very accommodating. I do like happy hour before dinner. Two meals a day are provided. Menu choices are available. Maid service is once a week. Provide clean sheets and the maid changes them. I’m on the 1st floor. Garage access is down the hall. No steps. On warm days my patio is a nice place to read and relax. Any negatives? Apartment living having to hear neighbors. Community living is a process. I’m living here as independent living.

The Gables is under a new company that is investing in the facility. New decorating, new staff, really making some good changes. Great activities for all and family atmosphere for residents. The Gables has it strengths and weaknesses like every place

The clickers on the necklaces do not work probably most of the time. My dad has clicked it on multiple times & staff does not show up for 30+ minutes to check on him. They have also had a lot of internet issues. He complains of slow service in the restaurant too.

[name removed] is happy their, but she is bored. She enjoys the food that is served and the staff seems to be very kind to her. Apparently all medical is done thru UPMC. Let me know if that is correct because her son is saying he is getting billed for portions of her medicine and he says she is not being seen by an LGH provider. Please let me know if that is correct and has she been seen by a family doctor since she has been there

The overall experience has been good and the overall cleanliness has been very good. The friendliness is excellent, the care services have been very good and the staff are excellent. The meals are good but I don't eat, the resident seems to think it's ok. The activities are good. the money's a lot. It's very hard for me to say. She pays twelve thousand dollars a month, which seems crazy. And she won't be able to live there for more than a year.

For the most part the staff are excellent. As is always the case, there are some exceptions. The facility is okay, clean and well maintained.

Evelyn, dining room manager is wonderful as well as the activities director [name removed]? Everyone is extremely friendly. The facility is clean, bright and updated. There has been issues with the Nursing staff, however [name removed] and [name removed]have been absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Apparently the food has gone drastically down. In December and January it was wonderful. Residents are settling for sandwiches and not the hot meals.

[price removed] charge for power wheelchair! Need more activities. Orientation to the facility would be helpful. Food is good breakfast is the best. Housekeeping of my room could be better. PS we just celebrated Madrid gras. We had mask beads snacks and music. It was great fun.

Beautiful place with well meaning staff. Not responsive after assessing level of care required. Can't tell you what is provided at each level of care. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

Great place. Highly recommend. I also had two other people that entered the Province and they are both happy with it. It was clean and did NOT smell. It was 5 minutes from my house so I popped in often.

They will need to have patience. As in a lot of places, they have too few employees. They were all nice. [name removed] passed away within three weeks of being there. Not really enough time to be fair in my response.

The director never returned my calls. The staff misled us on level of care for mom. Room size was excellent. They really don't use the amenities much but they appeared to be very good.

My father was in their memory care unit for 6 months, when he died. He had palliative hospice for 3 of those months. I tried to separate the hospice care from the staff care in my ratings. Staff were patient and kind. Good communication. The facility was clean.

The facility staff has improved significantly over the last few months. My mother seems quite happy in their memory care unit. I feel very confident that she is in a safe place that keeps her engaged in activities. Rooms in memory care are on the medium size. My mother is in a double so she has a roommate and they share a bathroom. That arrangement seems to work well for my mother. I'm able to sleep again knowing my mother is well cared for and happy.

Staff very friendly but had food service worker who was rude on several occasions not good! Place is neat and clean overall. But individual room could use some work. Caregivers need to do more to get seniors out of there rooms. They have many activities but they leave seniors to meet people on their own and don't get them involved enough. Meds very expensive. Overall though I am happy with the decision and really like it for my aunt!

Overall experience dealing with A Place for Mom is a 5. They follow up a lot. After a while I did not respond. We chose Crescent Fields based on your recommendation. Crescent Fields is clean. Very friendly staff. I have not eaten the food but it appears that mother likes it. I don't know if mother participates in activities. So I cannot rank this category. Mother has gone to the hospital twice for pneumonia. She aspirated. Don't know if Crescent Fields can mitigate. We now have hospice care provided by an outside company. I rank crescent fields a 4 for quality of care for now. I rank Crescent Fields a 5 for cost value. It is half the price of Luther Woods because there is no 24/7 skilled nursing care, which is ok for now. I am a hard grader. 5s are rare.

My Mom is very happy at The Windsor. I would recommend the place. Mom has a deluxe room and there's plenty of room. Double closet with sliders. A nice size bathroom walk in shower. Her room looks out into the garden. There is a kitchenette with frig and microwave. She happy with her room.

The could improve things by reducing odor and using vinyl covered chairs rather than fabric. The room sizes are good, and the amenities are ok.
