Starting to feel like home
My parents are quite happy in their new home at Park West. They've made friends with other residents, and friends with the staff as well. They are especially pleased with the nursing staff who they feel care about them. They are also pleased with the quality of the food, although one of them has remarked that he'd like more variety in the meals. As their daughter and the primary person involved in making this choice and working with the staff when my parents have special needs, I've been very pleased with the quality of care and staff responsiveness.

Overall we're pretty happy with them and have had a positive experience, but I do think it's a little expensive. I think the environment is nice - the facility looks nice. Some of the staff have been really great, others not. I feel the aspect where they have the most room for improvement is the food. My loved one tells me it just doesn't have a lot of taste.
