I chose The Hampton for my mom's vascular dementia care after viewing numerous facilities in Vancouver. The difference in the way staff interacts with "residents" is immediately apparent. My mom is treated like family, with love, and respect for the difficulties she endures with increasing dementia challenges. I also appreciated the pricing policies wherein everything is included in the monthly fee...no extra charge for bedding, furniture, towels, washing clothes, meals, snacks or distributing medicine. No surprises on the billing is a relief for family. The activities and entertainment is superb so Mom is never bored and I find myself choosing to visit her during specific times so I can enjoy the musicians as well. Mom, at 88-years-old, has been here for eight months and is so well adjusted now that recently she said "They do it all for me here. Wash my clothes. Cook my meals. Take of my medicine and entertain me as well. You should move here with me."

The Ashley Inn at the Hampton has a wonderful, caring staff that has made the transition to a new home for my elderly friend easy and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They keep me in the loop regarding issues, and they don't wait forever to call when something is up. It's important to me that I know what's going on and I truly appreciate their timely calls. All of the rooms are amazing; My friend has a wonderful view, and when I looked into the doors, it seemed to me that the rest were just as nice. The nursing staff is great about making sure my friend's medical needs are taken care of on time - nothing is missed. One thing my friend always complains of is the food at facilities like this, but when I ask him how it is at the Ashley, he just says 'Good!' This is not the first adult care center I've worked with, but they are by far the very best.

Mom has been a resident at the Gardens for the past nine months. She has gone from extremely anxious to thriving due to the amazing care she is receiving from the staff! We consider it such a blessing to see her happy, secure and comfortable in this beautiful facility. From the Administrative Staff, reception, nurses and caregivers we have found everyone extremely compassionate, not only to Mom, but our entire family. Communication is great, they keep us well informed about her medical and emotional needs, as well as activities at the Gardens. We can't thank them enough for the reassurance and peace of mind they provide for our family!!

My mom has lived at Arbor Hills for 2 years now. Her medical care there has always been top notch, provided by some really special nurses. Caring for Alzheimer's patients takes a unique combination of angel and superhero. There were some staffing transfers followed by some staff turnover. It got a bit wobbly for awhile, but that seems to have resolved. I like the direction things are going now! I see a lot more smiles, a lot of positive interaction between staff and patients, more friendship between patients, and overall I see a refreshed and warmer environment. As always, the nurses, care team, and the wonderful front desk ladies keep me updated on mom's status. I met this week with the new managing director and the new director of nursing for a care plan review. I was impressed. Alzheimer's is relentless, and mom had an unpreventable fall, resulting in an ER visit for a bad skin tear on her arm. The Arbor Hills team were fantastic, their quick response to the fall and their follow-up care made a real difference for a fast recovery. We reassessed mom's situation in the meeting and I was given good ideas for changes to help mom cope. (Mom is feisty) It was a tough day when we realized we could no longer take care of mom without a lot of help. I know she is being looked after by people who care.

This community offers a lot of activities. The community looked clean. They do offer respite stays. They do offer transportation at a cost. They have a beauty salon and television lounge.

This is an absolutely beautiful place with an extraordinary staff. My mother was here for several months before she died comma but it was a wonderful place for her. She said to me once, "I've never had so many people care for me." The staff is absolutely wonderful. In the months that my mother was at Sterling Inn in Victorville I never once heard a staff member being impatient with the incessant questions from some of the residents. The people that work there dress professionally. It was indeed a wonderful place for my mother and I will always be thankful that she was able to go there. As a PS I must say that the food is really good, and the facility smells fresh and clean. Thank you to Sterling Inn for all that you did for my mother. I will be forever grateful.

We thank the staff and the residents for accommodating our nursing students during their first clinical experience. Your team along with the residents provided a warm and welcoming teaching environment that helped to facilitate the learning process for the students first clinical nursing experience. We thank everyone for their willingness, support and contribution to excellence in nursing.

I put 45 stars because nobody is perfect but Arbor Hills comes close. My mother was there and my step dad spent the last couple weeks of his life there. The people are awesome; loving, kind, caring and attentive. It is a gift to give care to memory care patients in a dignified way and Arbor Hills succeeds. I highly recommend them!

Many years ago I brought Communion to many of the residents here at Sterling Inn, not ever realizing that I would someday be a resident myself. I hope the people I mention get recognition for the excellent way in which they conduct themselves. First there is ROBIN [removed] who made the move in process so simple and easy (although there is all that paper work needed to be done). Second there is DON, Executive Director who is not afraid to get in there and help. Talk about hands on...that's Don! Third there is GIO and LARRY in maintenance that are so willing to help you in your concerns, no matter how small. THREE CHEERS GUYS!!! Fourth there are the AIDES who are so COMPASSIONATE to these older folks, especially MITCH who is like a son to many of these folks. Fifth there is JOSHUA and his sister ERIN in food handling...so gentle to our elderly who begs for being treated like a human being. Thanks CHEF PAUL for your good food. Now we can't forget the WELCOMING FRONT DESK...KIM thanks for your patience, and all your HELPERS. I salute all of you!!!

Copper Creek Inn is a really good facility. She is happy there. She would like more choices in food but the food is fine. She is adjusting to having a roommate. Otherwise it is pretty good. She is mixed in with care levels 1-4. She doesn't like being with some of the higher level care patients. Those are just some of her complaints though. It is really a nice place. This facility is better than what we have seen anywhere else.

My loved one has only been here a short time, but so far we're very impressed by what we've seen! The facility is always very clean, and it always smells very nice! The care staff is friendly and professional, and they same to take great care of the residents! We're very satisfied with our choice!

My aunt is staying at Spring Creek Inn and is doing very well there and really liking it. My sister tells me that my aunt is the cleanest that she has been in a long time, so it really sounds like they are doing a really good job taking care of her.

I visited the Arbor Hills Memory Care one time but It was fine. The facility was very clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.

After seeing a commercial on TV called " A Place for MOM " I contacted them and spoke with Grace, she was so helpful in my search for assisted living for my mother. Grace gave me contact information for all the facilities located in the Longview/Kelso area. The Canterbury Inn was one of the facilities she directed me to and there I made contact with Kris, she took my husband and I on a tour and gave us all the information we needed. We were so impressed with the facility and it's employees, the beautiful areas and the very nice apartments. We took mom for lunch and to see how she liked it and she will be moving in shortly. We cannot thank Grace and Kris enough for making this emotional journey with us. I feel The Canterbury Inn is going to be a wonderful home for my mother. Thanks again.

We are happy with my mother-in-law's care at the Hampton Inn. She enjoys the activities (especially singing), and is constantly commenting about "all the nice people there". When I am visiting she is often greeted by name by a staff member walking past us. We appreciate the willingness of the staff to work specifically w/ her needs to see she has the best of care and quality of life.

I prayed for help for my family to be able to make the best decisions for Grandma and Papa. I feel like the Garden has been a huge part of that. It seems ever since Papa started to visit on a respite basis that the answers have come bit by bit as they have been needed. Now he lives at this lovely facility I sort of feel bad calling it a facility because it is much more than that to us all. It is Papa's home. Each of the family members are met where they are at in the process toward acceptance of our situation. The staff are well picked and seem happy at their careers and therefor exude that to the residents. Papa is the happiest I have seen him in years. I only hope we can find a place like this for Grandma that will fit her needs as well when the time comes. So we won't be concerned how she is doing on her own.

Our family has been really happy with my mother's care at Spring Creek. The nurses and employees are all compassionate and understanding of each situation there. I feel my mother is in a safe environment and very content living there. The staff keeps me informed of her condition and living situation during the month.

my mom has lived at Sterling for about 3 years and although she might not readily admit it...she loves it. She needed the extra care and supervision that Sterling provides but still allows her to have her own place. She raves about the food and participates in several exercises classes each week. She also enjoys the fellowship of a weekly bible study. The staff are caring and always available. I sleep alot better knowing she is in a safe place.
