The staff was so kind. He doesn't do activities. They did not clean his room well.

The experience was good under the circumstances. My husband was in care for eight months before passing. Most of the "problems" were my getting used to the new circumstances and him settling in. After about three months, we had a routine and I finally learned how to cope with not having him home. The one thing that bothered me the most was, oddly enough, was laundry! They kept losing his clothes and leaving someone else's. Drove me crazy! Finally I started doing it myself and that solved all worries. My husband seemed happy enough. We went through a number of phases that the facility handled very well, even when he was meaner than a snake. He never complained about the food. They brought him snacks at least twice a day. He rarely spent time in his room. They were always offering little projects to keep him occupied. He did have hospice "comfort care" come in for extra medical attention, which was recommended. They also had pastoral support and counseling for me as the end came closer. I highly recommend Spring Creek Inn for their 24 hour nursing staff, and care givers. Nothing is perfect, but they came close.

The community director Matt is amazing answered all of our questions and was a great help. Move-in was extremely easy... lots of help & guidance, the food is really good, activities directors are always creative and encourage engagement. Most important Mom is happy! I would absolutely recommend this facility

I feel it's safe, clean, and cheery. Staff try to keep the residents active. Caregivers are very communicative. There are frequent family events. I would recommend

The staff is supportive and there are plenty of activities. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

For the most part the FT nursing staff & caregivers did a wonderful job. And were very kind to my sweet father. I would recommend to others & regardless of where your loved one is, families should be present!

Deer Ridge Memory care is very expensive considering the actual care involved. What it is is an apartment with meals and very little nursing care. So although the staff are friendly and kind I wouldn't call them thorough. My husband is a 6'5" man. His meals at Deer Ridge are the exact same as meals given to women who are 5 feet tall and frail. He is slowly losing weight there. But we do like the staff. The facility is clean and new.

This facility has been satisfactory for us. My mom is still there and well taken care of. We used them for both my mom and dad. As memory care facilities go, I think they are probably one of the better ones in the Colorado Springs area. We really have no complaints. The staff is friendly, they retain their staff which in my mind said a lot , they call us when accidents happen which isn't often, they are polite respectful, and courteous to us as well as their residents. We can walk in there almost anytime. They know us by name, facility is clean and my mom is well cared for. It has a very small footprint, which is really nice for us and the residence. The staff knows everybody. We are grateful that we found them and have no intention of moving my mother.

Staff is very friendly and good with the residents. Very caring. I know its hard for them to be in 20 places at once but they do their best. I am pleased with the care my husband receives.

The Park is a lovely, clean place. Their food is mostly good. It's not as good as they make it out to be, with their "chef connection," but it's decent. My dad was only there a short time- just a few months, so I can't really say a lot. He passed within 1 month of officially moving in, (he wanted to make sure his house was PERFECT before leaving it!) and 5 months since he signed a lease agreement. He met some nice residents. It is on the more expensive side, (he paid roughly $5200.00 monthly) but my dad wanted a ground floor apartment so we were willing to pay a bit more. There is also a one time charge community fee of [removed dollar amount], which I thought was relatively steep, but as I understand from my sister who is dealing with her in-laws in the Bay Area, it wasn't. (It's much more expensive there, especially since both are still living.)The employees at The Park are very kind and respectful, with varying degrees of ability, as one would expect. They do a monthly celebration and bring in family members, but it can be expensive. For example, they do family brunches where the residents can purchase individual tickets at a high cost, IMO. And what was served at the brunch was meh. . The Park is well decorated, and very inviting. The rooms are spacious, and there is some variety in apartments.

4.5. What we like the most about the community is that the residents and staff are all very welcoming. There are lots of different activities to and groups to join if you choose to. Meals and food choices are always good.

I have been very pleased with The Gardens. Overall, it's been great.

I think there short handed more often then not and I get that . But I think they need to express that to us. The staff on the floor is really good and friendly and they do interact with the people there pretty well. I can always tell when there short staffed because my mom looks disheveled more often then she has ever before.

I don't know how much this helps but my score on the administration was affected by the fact that they've had a lot of turn over and have been making changes which are hard for the elderly. The jury is still out on whether the changes are good or bad in the long run. I'm hesitant to comment about much more because we have had problems due to my mother's mental state, nothing to do with the facility. I feel like overall the facility is very good.

only for the particular wing my husband was in they need more staff. 3 for quality of care, because of the shortness of staff. The rest was not really applicable for my husband. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families! This was a tough situation with my husband and they were always kind.

I love the whole staff. Yes we love the facility.. I would recommend this for for all the compassion.

They have a great administrative staff. They took much time and care to answer all questions. The staff was friendly. The facility did not suite my mother in law because of the following. 1.Her room door had to remain open during the day. Other guests were able to roam in and out of her room. 2. Her clothes were washed with the rest of the tenants and her items were not returned back to her. Her name was on her items. 3. The food was alright.

The facility is lovely and has a homey feeling throughout. I was impressed with the cleanliness and well-maintained grounds. The staff reflected a warm commitment to resident well-being, even when faced with difficult behaviors. The community relations director made me and my husband feel seen. He answered our questions quickly and thoroughly and helped us make connections with nursing staff. With very few exceptions (and that could be because it was night and weekend staff who I didn't know as well) nursing staff was committed to care for the residents and explained procedures and concerns well. I liked that the entire staff, no matter their primary assignments knew the residents and pitched in wherever needed. The activity coordinator, the front desk receptionist, and the maintenance man were warm, welcoming and truly helpful.

The facility and the resident rooms are kept very clean. The nursing staff is really on top of things and very friendly. Care staff have been superior. They always answer the phone, return calls and coordinate all medical care promptly. They also have a high staff retention rate which is huge because they know and like the residents. We have been very pleased overall. The meals could use some improvements.
