After 3.5 months, we know more about the day-to-day operations. Our impression thus far is basically good with several exceptions. Most staff in all departments are warm and friendly. The facility is very nice. Generally, the food appears appetizing and is always plentiful.. The bathroom area in my mom shared bedroom frequently looks dirty, with smeared feces on the toilet etc. Many of my mom‘s clothing have disappeared and has never been returned . My mom is supposed to have baths twice weekly , but when I visited on shower day this week , she was unbathed with dirty hair! It is difficult to tell when sheets have been washed. My mom’s bed is poorly made , wrinkles have not been removed and frequently the blankets have not been tucked. I have frequently removed, cleaned, and changed my mom’s colostomy when I’ve been visiting because it has not been done when it is full. My mom is red, itchy and sore in her private areas, and doesn’t seem to be getting given her medicated cream.

Since I would not be able to do this at home. That said, it's outrageously expensive but comparable to other facilities I've checked. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

My husband loved being there at Sterling Inn. The only time he ever complained was when his level of care went up. Sometimes when he would ask for assistance it would take an unreasonable length of time before he got the help or assistance he needed. Otherwise he said it was a good place to live. He made some good friends. Activities were enjoyable. Holidays and special days of the year were observed with appropriate activities. Also, it was always clean, meals were good and better than he expected.

It's a family owned company in business since 1959 so there are no corporate turnovers with different management companies. They specialize in dementia care and that's all they do. It's average food. It's nourishing and seems to be what the residents like to eat. I think that's the goal.

Exterior lights need to be fixed for security of staff and residence. The floors and kitchen need regular scrubbings. Dust control at the neighboring concrete plant needs to be addressed, along with speeding 70+ mph vehicles on Ridgecrest Road. With the exceptions of the above mentioned wish list, the Sterling Inn is a gem. I would gladly volunteer my time to address the issues as the focus is on love and compassion is the first priority at the Sterling Inn by its staff.

The ladies [name removed] (Directors of Community Relations) and [name removed] were amazing getting my sister placed in their facility. I had excellent communication with them and they both provided an excellent experience and went above and beyond expectations in getting my sister into their facility! I give them both a 5! It overall is a nice facility, they were very accommodating. Now that I have her in an AFH I'd never put her into assisted living again. The small format and hands on 1-2 caregivers in the AFH is so much better for my disabled sister.

Picked this place because it will be close to my family. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to others.

The management and higher nursing staff are very kind and helpful for the most part. Some of the lower ranked staff come across as too important to have time for visitors and sometimes patients without a nudge BUT for the most part I'm not sure after visiting 14 facilities in the area Creekside tops the list.

We looked at other facilities, but this had the best staff. We picked it because it had lots of sunlight, and it wasn't dark and dreary, and it was very clean. [name removed] was very compassionate and patient with us. I would recommend to others.

The facility is a little smelly. They are very short staffed, especially on the weekends. Laundry people put laundry in a different place every time, not good for memory care. The food needs to be lower in sodium.

The Lakeview Memory Care community is the perfect size and that is something we really like about the community. We also like the caregivers to residents ratios. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

It has been a very good overall experience with The Gardens at Laguna Springs. The community is clean and the staff is kind, patient and capable. When it comes to the activities and the meals they are good. It is expensive but also a beautiful facility.

We are pleased with Meadowbrook for the most part. The food is certainly not gourmet, but it's adequate. The activities are below par, I think, but we were spoiled by the great activities lady at the previous facility. The staff and caretakers are wonderful and caring.

When it comes to the activities we are not even sure if they have an activities coordinator. That area could be improved on, however based on the experience we have had so far we can say we are overall very satisfied with Copper Creek inn Memory Care.

We picked this community, because 1) Location to me. 2) Provided the care we need. 3) the building is lovely, secure and built in a square so easy for walking/exercising. Everyone is really nice. I wish they had more physical activities and challenging mental activities for those who are able. I feel mom wasn't quite ready for this level of care, but we didn't want to move her multiple times. She likes it there, and that's all that matters!

My family and loved one had a good experience with Maple Glen Memory Care. The staff are patient, attentive and compassionate towards the residents. The community is clean. Everyone is friendly here. The community provides meals and activities to assist with socialization of the residents. Overall we would recommend the community to others.

Certainly we could have saved ourselves some stress if we would have started earlier. We knew Mom was going to need to move somewhere but we waited until it became an emergency. But as far as the Community/Staff it worked out really well that we were able to basically meet everybody on their staff, which was really, really nice.

Overall experience 4+. We haven't used the nursing care as is starts at [fee removed] /month for each person & they couldn't guarantee showering in evening. So I do their med set up & assist with bathing. Seemed a bit steep for their price! Food has been constant problem. Usually is cold, or not great. But overall, my parents are happy there. My dad suffered a small stroke a few weeks ago and they responded quickly & appropriately. We were with him when it happened, thankfully. Bus service is great, drivers are very friendly. Apartment is wonderful and we'll set up for wheelchair.

Staff seems to really care. As far as activities go - I thought they had something for veterans, but haven't seen it. I think they could do more to engage the men. Possibly they could also try to come up with learning activities/lectures, like those offered by libraries. It seems like they are light on activities for those who still are pretty sharp mentally.

Good place to care for your loved one. Sometimes they seemed understaffed. We picked this community, because not many available in our area for memory care. Good location in local home community, and the availability.
