Overall, Foxbridge is ok and cheaper than most places. But I was able to move my husband to the Veterans Home in Oxford-- and that is so much better. I would tell others looking that they should spend some time in the cottage that their family member will be placed in. There are big differences. I would recommend them ONLY to people who are mostly concerned about the cost of memory care.

This is the second facility that my Mom has been in for care beyond what I could do. This facility seemed seriously understaffed on several occasions in the mear 2 months Mom was there. She passed on[date removed] due to health complications. While at The Reserve at Citrus there was a severe issue to response time when her button was pushed. This led to her not trusting the process. She fell at least 5 times trying to get up by herself. Each fall required an ambulance to the hospital, a CAT scan and sometimes a 2-3 day stay in the hospital. I don't know if they were finding her on the floor or if they came right after she fell. Communication was always an issue. Once she was accepted into the community communication was poor. We didn't realize how poorly staffed the facility was until she was there. The brochure was good. The visit was good. The follow through was not good. Very disappointing.

The nurses and aides are kind, caring and compassionate workers. My issue is with communication and lack of from the administration. There needs to be consistency with daily activities with the residents. I chose this facility because it was close. I did feel very comfortable with the intake person, [name removed]. She was very honest and made the process very smooth.

My loved one is a resident at Foxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care. I'm not sure if I could recommend the facility at this point.

Most everything is great! The price of the care level my loved one is in, makes her "rent" $[removed]+ more a month which we didn't expect. Another issue is they have "field trips" but yet cannot transport my loved one in a wheelchair. I also had an issue getting her to a doctors appointment, I had to transport her myself in my car, which is not Wheelchair accessible but she can get in and out. We were told they had wheelchair accessible transportation for field trips and going to outside dr appointments. They do not. They do have 2 cars, so I do not understand why my loved one could not be taken on the "field trips" nor to the doctor. The staff is always nice and friendly! Overall they are super nice and caring, I just wish they would get a Wheelchair accessible Van. With all the money each resident pays per month, they could afford a luxury bus!

My dad's room was always clean! The staff was always very willing to help and strive to do what was best for my dad.Overall, I was very satisfied with this facility. The assisted-living area is clean, updated, and cherry. The memory care unit was older. The carpet needed to be replaced. Immediately. When I toured the facility, they did not show me the memory care unit because it was further from the office. They told me that all of the units were the same and I took their word. I was a little shocked to see the condition of the carpet . The staff made an effort to keep everything clean and we're willing to do anything I ask. When we called in hospice, they worked very closely with them. They always treated me with respect and most importantly they treated my dad with respect and dignity.

I would say look elsewhere. I chose it because I liked the sales agent, [name removed], who was and is more than helpful. The food offerings are horrendous.

Van has been broken for months.Food is awful.No on site home health care. Not satisfied. We picked this community because they were running a special.

Well maintained facility with basic level of care. Not overly communicative with families. Limited sense of community. We picked this community because of the apartment size and value. Cleanliness.

Food is a concern. They have a transitions unit that we thought would be a good fit. Other places were not receptive, and they were.

The community could improve on the following things: better food options, more staff including maintenance and cleaning, which is very limited, and the nurse aids have too many patients to tend to.

When we visit Mom, she always complains about the length of time she waits while needing assistance getting out of bed, or in/off toilet, etc. There seems to be inconsistencies with the quality of staff between shifts/weekends. Almost every time we visit on the weekend, the white Chevy Impala staff car is parked in one of the two handicapped spaces in front of the main entrance. Complaints to management have not resulted in any change in this practice.

Comments are Food they charge an extra [fee removed] per meal for food delivery. Was there 10 months and not once assisted in any Activity. Failed to keep outside porch area clean. Charged extra money for assisted with, bed linen, bathing, house cleaning, taking out trash and laundry. Transportation to doctors was very limited. Extra charge for phone and cable service. In 10 months only saw Staff from Office 2 times. Had to beg for help from the Office. Office tried to charge a months rent while being moved out. Nobody would deliver mail and medicines to room. Only one Staff Office member cared and was told by Main Office to stop. Just too expensive for the quality of the care.

My dad passed away on [date removed]. We were there a lot his last few weeks. We observed some things that we didn't like. They also sent a statement showing they owed us for the last 3 days in March than turned around and sent us a [fee removed] check with a new statement. I sent them the contract we signed showing it says if someone passes during the month you will be refunded the days after they pass. I still have not heard anything back from them. They didn't report my dad's broken arm after one of his falls that they said he didn't need sent to the ER. Another time he kept falling and the third time within 10 days we find that he had on two different shoes, two different sizes, and they were for the same foot.

Our family had an in person tour with The Willows - was a no for use because accessing amenities requires daily use of the elevator. Example - activities on 2nd floor and dining services on 3rd floor. My mother has Alzheimer's and becomes disoriented easy and can't use an elevator independently. The home also had an odor which I smell in long-term care. Definitely a turn off

Milford Place has a friendly staff and it is a clean facility. Families are encouraged to participate in things. The biggest frustrations are difficulty knowing who to communicate with about what, and lack of attention to issues going on with our resident who needs supervision for some basic health needs.

The staff are very nice and caring to the patients. We picked this community because of the convenience of the location.I would recommend more social activities to keep their minds active. The memory care staff are very nice. And the nurses also. I loved the fact that a nurse was there.

Management was responsive when I brought any issues to their attention. They were just not equipped to handle the high level of skilled care that my loved one required. However, for someone who is more mobile and able, needing minor assistance, it would likely be much better. I saw that residents were encouraged to get out every day. And there were lots of people up and about in the hallways and on the porch.

The price is better than most similar facilities. Most staff members are very friendly but may not be as attentive as you'd like. Visit often and at different times and get to know the staff. The main activity that I observed was watching old tv programs.

The Activities Director is fabulous and comes up with creative options for both residents and family members. The facility is brightly decorated and well maintained. The food is disappointing. Serving cuts of meat that need to be cut with a knife when no such utensil is avail is perplexing. The facility just instituted a 6% increase in room and board, but even then is less expensive than others in the area.
