The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were very supportive of my dilemma of having to sell my condo before I could move there. They gave me a month for my deposit for a unit, with the understanding that if I didn't sell I would get my deposit back. I was unable to sell my condo and got my deposit back. The entire facility and the apartment I viewed was very nice. Actually I would have loved it there. I didn't like having the main meal at lunchtime. Also, there was no choice of the main entrée. Since I don't like fish, I ended up with a sandwich. Overall the food was Ok, tasty. I stayed for one activity, play bridge, no one showed up.

This is a new facility so I like that everything is modern and up to date as far as standards. It also helps that the staff is well established but not burnt out! The staff is very accommodating and helpful in making the process as streamlined as possible. We had looked at this facility as it was being built but life circumstances didn't allow us to be able to take advantage of this facility until now, but we were very glad that they still had an opening and could accommodate our move quickly and smoothly.

From what I remember, Foxbridge could have been an option for us as well. It was more on the assisted living side and it wasn't as new as some of the other places we were looking at so that's why we didn't choose them.

For the most part Foxbridge is very nice. Although the residents with dementia have no independence and are put to bed by 8pm. Their level of care at times can be frustrating, but I have experienced worse care at another facility. Donna, the director, is new to the property and she is trying to make a difference. I think the meals could be better. Foxbridge has four buildings; the Oak building is for assisted living residence, the Pine building is for assisted living and the beginning stages of dementia, Spruce is for residents with later stages of dementia, and the Magnolia building is for residents in the poorest health. Most of my experience has been with the Spruce building. The staff is very friendly but they have to arrange resident's medication schedules around their own schedules. For example if a medicine is directed to be given on or after 8pm in the Spruce building the medicine is administered at 7pm when the nurses are readying the residents for bed. I do not agree with this method, but the nurses have to follow a schedule so they can be at the next building to administer medications. Foxbridge, like other facilities, is understaffed. Some of the residents in the Spruce building look bored, there are no activities for them to help slow the progression of dementia. Sometimes housekeeping can be inconsistent as well. But for the most part they take care of their residents and all the residents here seem happy. This place is much better than where mom was previously.

I would certainly be willing to share my honest feedback. I think overall it's been had a good experience for my mom, though the renovations at all hours were very inconvenient and changing the cable TV stations were very disappointing for her without being asked. I thought the size of the community was great and looked at turnover or lack of in food and activities in particular.

I think the staff is fantastic. They really go out of their way to ensure the residents are included in the events that are happening in the center. The employees in the café really know the residents likes and dislikes and go above and beyond to make sure the dining experience is good. I have often witnessed the employees sitting with the residents just chatting with them. You can really tell that the staff love the residence and it's like one big family there. The nursing staff is fantastic, however I think there are not enough nurses for the amount of residents that come in to take their medicine. I think the nurses are somewhat overwhelmed at certain times of the day. I do like that they keep track of everybody's appointments and they send reminders down to the rooms for the residence to know that they've got an upcoming appointment

I always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, however my Dad said that only certain people would help him. He said the food was terrible. The director and cook did recently get fired. My Dad hated it there, however you have to take that with a grain of salt because he is miserable in general and he was really mean to some of the people there. He choose to never participate in any activities except for Happy Hour. I have a friend whose Mom has been there for years, and she thinks it is pretty decent there. My Dad recently returned back home.

Staff is overwhelmed Nurses are not compassionate We would never choose them again

Our tour guide, [name removed], was great. She was personable, knowledgeable and energetic. The facilities need freshening up and the renovated apartments are nice, but the hallway getting there is depressing. The HVAC would be noisy and difficult to maintain comfort, I think. The dining room was fantastic with lots of light, open and airy feel, friendly staff and outdoor tables for warmer weather. The setting has some nice grounds to walk around, but the immediate neighborhood is not where I would want to live.

She really likes the facility and the administration there, but she tells me the food is terrible and she can't eat a lot of it, I'm having to supplement her with Walmart orders, because she can't always eat. I'm not sure if you are aware of it or not. They get a 3 strictly because of the food, the care is great!

I would let others know that they do not have a diabetic menu. The cost is the only reason my loved one is here.

You can complain multiple times and nothing gets done. Financially this place can't be doing well! Call anytime! Tell the owner to give me a call.

I really love how caring the staff is...they are so patient and sweet with the memory care patients. I would like for my mom's room to be cleaned a bit more frequently and the food is not that great....would like some options for meals rather than whatever has been chosen for them

Very nice facility. Friendly people. My one complaint is the food, but that's because my mom has dietary issues and can't eat certain things so it's hard for her to find things to eat. I often bring her food. They need more aides.

management is lazy. food is subpar. housekeeping is way below standards. every month I gave to complain they are not following their own schedules. laundry returned wet, beds not changed. rooms not vacuumed or swept. but all assisted living charge WAY TO MUCH for what is delivered. employees are not paid well so where is the money going? most places I visited were like this or worse. they didn't even give good tours, very disconnected to the customer. charges were outrageous for very small units. the Rutherford is better than some i visited, so it's all about being involved, aware and advocate. I list and date issues and speak up. [removed]k a month is plenty to be getting A+ services

The nursing staff is not very understanding. The dining room is not flexible.

The stench in the hallways that comes from other residents houses from their pets is actually humiliating. To have people come over and have them smell that horrific smell all the way down the hallway should not be allowed The housekeeping staff was not very friendly and actually scolded my mother for using the laundry facility at the wrong time. They should be more polite with new people.

Beautiful place. Hotel like atmosphere and decor. Pretty pricey. Agent that convinced [name removed] wife to place him - quit and went to another place near by. Moving in another resident also was leaving. A little surprised at some of the add on fees. Don’t believe resident is receiving the physical therapy he needs to be able to go home. Is motivation to keep him for $. Seriously going to investigate other facilities for potential better treatment.
