The exterior and interior are a little older and they show it but they are very well maintained. The community is very clean and the staff was very friendly and caring. A couple of residents voluntarily came over to us to talk to us and answer questions. One of the main reasons it really did not appeal to us is because they are not in close proximity to any hospitals and the location was very inconvenient for our family.

Great visit. Seems like a great place. Director was very helpful and patient with all our questions.

This is the place. Independent with just the right support. Apartment has full kitchen, washer dryer and large bathroom. Social needs, plus meal plan.

Great atmosphere, can see my mom living here.

I'm fairly satisfied with most things here, understaffing is the biggest problem I think that they have. Some of the staff were fantastic and some were horrible, the second half don't do the minimum that is required for their job assignment, but that's only half. There are some who do 150% and seem to care more. Communication is fair and some of their activities include - bingo, arts & crafts, planned outings, music, and outside activities & parties when the weather permits.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a really good experience. The women who gave the tour was just the loveliest person you could of met. She gave us a ton of information. However the tour of the facility was extremely short and it could of been because the community is quite small, but we still found everyone to be very welcoming and we were even able to go by and see a residents room and speak to them.

We did a virtual tour with Oak Hill Place and it was good, the location of the facility was just not appropriate for our loved one.

Staff deserves a 5 star rating, especially [names removed]. They know their residents very well and really care about them. The place itself is dated and needs renovated and the food served is just average/nothing fancy.

Caring staff. Closest to "Homelike" environment as you'll get. It's intimate and friendly. Calendar is diverse and reflects what the residents are interested in.

Recently toured. A wonderful and beautiful place for Assisted Living. Residents and staff very friendly. Unfortunately was disappointed with the Memory Care portion due to small public spaces and the tiny outdoor space for them. (Almost seemed like an afterthought) Which was sad because the rooms and rest of the facility was perfect.

We are very happy with our experience at Woodview Estates. Mom has been there for just two months and the entire staff has been remarkable and helpful. The transition experience was well planned and allowed us to make the move from our home to Mom’s new place as smooth as possible. All and any information we needed or could have thought of was easily available to us. We visited several facilities and this was by far the best from our experience.

Prior to my mother moving into this community, she had friends that already lived here which makes a difference in trying to getting adjusted. Mom is very happy here she really likes it. She is doing the activities they offer and making other friends. The staff is very helpful and nice very knowledgeable about filling out insurance paperwork. Mom seems to be liking the food. The location is perfect it's very close to me.

The staff did a great job with our tour, they took their time showing us around and answering our questions. The community was a bit larger than what we were looking for and we had some concerns about the step in showers and the two different floors for our mom but the atmosphere was nice and the community appeared clean.

My Mom has just been here for a month. So far I have been happy with the facility. The staff are very friendly and respond to the needs of the patient. The food is very good and my Mom really likes it.

My loved one is in a secured area and I feel there is not enough staffing in the area and there is only one activity that he participates in. The food is good as he is eating well. The rest of the community is really nice and there are a lot of activities. The community is well taken care of and the staff is nice. I do not want to give anyone the wrong idea as I can only speak about the secured area. I would say to look into the secured area carefully if this is what your loved one needs.

Everything has been satisfactory so far. Staff is accommodating. Safe enviornment.

I don't know that my opinion counts It's my neighbor, Mr. Carrol that has moved in there and honestly, he hates it ! He feels like he's in prison since he hadn't been able to drive before last week for 2 months. The tv reception is awful in the guests rooms. That's really bad for them. He says the food is not as good as it was in March & wonders if the cooks changed .. As I said, Maybe it's just a old man deal. He says he lonesome but that's his fault for not hanging around in the lobby & watching the better TV down there. He has improved in his healing of his ribs with not driving . I liked it. He just says he hates it and feels like he's in prison and it's way expensive .. Bottom line See, old folks attitude change when confined & he has to meet the great staff half way.

After I got the money ready for the down payment for mom to move into her new home everything went real smoothly. The staff is real friendly and the janitors even helped move mom in too! I am really pleased with the friendly staff and nurses letting me know the status of mom and when she needs her meds filled and everything else. Mom is happy and she is already calling this her forever home.

I've been here just under a month. My biggest disappointment is that this not truly an independent facility. There are too many people here with care givers and others that just belong in assisted living. That defeats the purpose. Fees are a little higher than I expected. Housekeeping schedule is not consistent. Dining room service is sometimes very slow and I've heard complaints about amount of pasta on menu. Most staff is friendly. Do like the 3 meals being provided. It's hard to get to know people. I moved from out-of-state, which is not the case with most residents. Would help if nametags were provided. Activities are limited as almost all are within the 4 walls of the building. But, this is where I'll live for as long as I'm able as it is convenient to family.

We had been looking around for Mom's extended care and "A Place or Mom" contacted us. although we were pretty much decided on Greenfield Assisted Living, our Place for Mom consultants recommended it and our confidence was confirmed both in (A.P.f.M) and (G.A.L.). What is interesting is the number of local institutions that contacted us as a result of the immediate action of A.P.f.M. There were no stones unturned in what began as a desperate search as Mom's dementia was growing progressively worse. We are very thankful that such compassionate ministries are available to us and others who suffer like fate and exasperation today.
