I love my balcony and the view. It’s very pretty with the hills and we are surrounded by lots of land. I have made friends here and am overall pleased. More affordable than some of the other places we looked at

My husband was only at Rainforest for less than a Month He passed away on [date removed] my husband has been in and out of assisted-living facilities since 2022. I feel I have a very good understanding of these type of facilities and what they offer having gone through this with him in Tennessee and Florida. I'd be happy to share my thoughts with you. Rainforest is tucked into a lovely woodsy neighborhood near Bearden High School it has very nice walking path around the facility and I believe that each of the rooms has a porch patio combination that looks out onto the walking trails. and woods this might not be important to the patient but as a family member putting my husband into this facility, Il very comfortable feeling from the start It had a warm homey atmosphere you enter the building and almost immediately into the dining room a wonderful wide open bright dining area was very visible staff members around rainforest has assisted living a memory care unit and even apartments for couples The dining area has a variety of food stations, fresh fruit, and the best is they have a old-fashioned ice cream truck on the side and every day afternoon everyone gathers around for ice cream. This was my husband's favorite thing right up until the last few hours.The administration staff that i interacted with either on campus or by phone daily were the most professional Compassionate and Honest individuals i have ever met since I started this journey 10 years ago, they were very upfront with the cost and any other requirements that my husband or services that he needed I would highly recommend this this assisted living facility. The staff seems to be filled with people that make it just seem like a big family. These are people that are going to do a challenging job every day and obviously they like what they're doing. Our stay was very short, but but I highly recommend to anyone that's looking for a short term or long-term facility to please take a look at this establishment

Overall a positive experience. My loved one was less than happy with me for removing him from his home. The staff at the Palmerton has been so helpful. Despite still being mad at my decision he loves it there. The people (residents and staff are so nice and friendly and engaging). He has always said the food was good. I ate there a few times with him and it tastes like home cooked food. He was participating in activities as he was able and loves that he got "cash" he could use towards treats. The rooms are nice and clean with a private bathroom. His room fits a bed, nightstand, dresser, recliner and larger TV stand. It has always been clean when I visited. The caregivers are wonderful. [name removed] the nurse has been so helpful to me. Clearance in the office was great in admissions. They have various group events and events where family and friends can participate.

Being sight unseen it's perfect for me. I love the location, staff is very helpful Your advice and help was wonderful

The tour and the information I received was excellent. You can tell that all the employees they care about the residence who are living there. I’m planning to take my cousin there for a visit on Wednesday. She is the reason I toured the facility first.

I was very impressed with Oak Hill Place. [name removed] was very kind, informative, and listened patiently to my questions and concerns for my mother’s needs. The facility was beautiful and very clean. There are so many nice amenities to make any resident feel at home and very welcomed. The prices are very competitive and reasonable for this area.

5 for all of them. Mom was only there for about a week before she passed away but the staff and facility were fantastic. The staff was very helpful, especially getting hospice care for Mom. I can't really address the food because my Mom wasn't really eating much. But they definitely offered things that she might like. The room was great, very roomy and bright. It seemed as if there a number of activities going on which looked interesting, but again, my Mom really wasn't able to participate. I guess what was most important to me was that the whole place treated my Mom as if she was a treasured resident, even if she was only there for a short time.

Me and my wife recently visited looking for place to move to. Of all the places we visited this place felt like a home. [name removed] was good at showing us everything and was very thorough of what was available. Really liked the place. Once we sell our home we will move there. We are really looking forward to it.

Went last week for a visit to see a friend. The renovations look fantastic! I was invited to stay for lunch by the manager, it was wonderful and filling. I am not currently looking for myself, but when the time comes this will be the first place I am touring! Thank you for a great visit!

Apartment room is clean, food selection is minimal, food quality on scale 1 to 10 is a 5, cost on the high side, equipment maintenance washer, elevators, entrance electric doors, WIFI service poor weeks to get repairs, drive services to appointments does not exist, staffing on weekends poor, but over all it has been a good place for her

The facility is being updated and the staff are very friendly. The updates are beautiful. Seems like a nice place to live with the lake right behind facility with walking paths.

The staff is excellent. When my mother used to asked by anyone, "How do you like it here?" Her response is,"It's not home, but they take care of me." Knowing that she is being taken care of takes away the worry for me.

The staff are pretty much all very friendly to the residents and their families. They seem to care about their jobs. The management staff are remarkable- involved, upbeat and share in many of the activities. They are responsive to issues and truly seem to love what they are doing. My parents share a 2 bedroom apartment which is spacious and lovely for this type of facility. Of all the places we looked, my parents liked this one best- I believe because there were residents doing things and present during their tour- they were out and about- not hiding in their rooms. It was also the least expensive. The staff really go all out for activites! I have to check their calendar and schedule around them. Lately my parents have been complaining about the food. They very much enjoy their breakfasts, but not always the other 2 meals. At first they said the food was pretty decent. Not sure what changed. Overall, I am very happy with this selection. I told my parents if they tried it for a few months and didn't like it, I could move them. They don't want to move. They have friends there now. Overall, its a great place.

[name removed] was very kind and explained the layout of the facility. She asked what hobbies my mother enjoyed and showed me the room that she felt would be perfect for my mother. [name removed] also went to Encompass and spoke with my mother. I think my mother would enjoy the facility. I will continue you try and convince my mother to come and tour the facility. 5 on everything! Everyone is caring, the food is very good, that's important, it's very clean and the rooms are large enough for family visitation. A great place. So happy our family chose Kanawha Place.

The staff was friendly and attentive to brother and family. The food offered was a great variety that would satisfy even the pickiest preferences. Would have been helpful to serve in smaller bite sizes as the dinner ware wasn't sharp and sometimes missing a spoon or knife. We had to bring in outside dinnerware, ketchup, and other condiments. Because of his disability he didn't participate in activities, but there always seemed to be plenty of opportunity. We like the combination of exercise, movies, puzzles, visiting on outside patio. The atmosphere was open, clean and bright. Very inviting and comfortable.

I would honestly rate all categories at a 5. My mom absolutely loves it at the Gardens of Wakefield. The staff are very friendly and caring. The facility is very clean and inviting. My mom enjoys the activities and the meals. She also loves the size of her apartment, the balcony, and having her own washer and dryer. My mom is a completely different person (in a good way) than she was before she moved to the Gardens at Wakefield due to her increased social life and staying busy with all of the activities. The staff made her transition very easy, and she has made many friends. She says she feels loved and cared about there.

[name removed] was wonderful. She gave us the tour and answered all of our questions about the facility. [name removed] and the entire staff were friendly and very kind. Everyone had smiles on their faces including the residents. Would highly recommend Milford Place.

Loved the Gardens at Wakefield when touring for my parents. [name removed], the Community Relations Director was especially amazing. She was so caring and really listened to what we needed. She gave me additional information to help with my decisions even after we decided that my parents would need to be in SC closer to my sister. Lots of fun activities, community garden and the most amazing fig tree I've ever seen! Love the proximity to the Y. All the residents I met were so friendly (especially [name removed] who is known and loved by everyone at the Y).

The studio apartment was a nice size at 351 square feet. It had a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and a full bathroom. It was a nice view that overlooked the courtyard. Plenty of closet space. My mother was under Caring Hospice who were fantastic. The floor she was on was the special needs memory unit. The staff at Terraces were phenomenal from the moment you walked in till you left. The staff attending to my mother gave her the utmost care and had a lot of patience with the Alzheimer's residents The place was very clean. They do run room specials like 15% off the months lease for as long as they're there and a 5% discount if veteran or spouse is a veteran. My mother spent a month there before she passed almost 3 weeks ago.
