This community is a positive place for the elderly and it is a good place for your loved one to be. The staff are very pleasant and try their best with the residents and during these pandemic conditions.

Harmony is the best in the area. I have made some very good friends here. My apartment is comfortable and bright, and is cleaned every week. Meal time is always enjoyable with good conversation and laughs.

We had a good tour with Harmony. The facility is larger which we did not feel would fit our loved one the best. They do offer all different levels of care here.

I was very pleased with our tour at The Harmony Collection, and I liked the location.

Our family had a virtual tour and with everything we saw and everyone we talked to we had a pretty decent experience.

Our family had an in person tour and the tour was wonderful the lady was very lovely but another community was able to accept our loved one with their level of care.

The tour with Harmony at West Ashley was good, but the facility itself was really big and looked more like a country club. It was just not the right fit for my mom.

This is generally a good place to live. Everyone is friendly including the staff and residents. They are very welcoming. The activities are more for non-mobile residents. There aren't a lot of activates for those that are more active.

I thought Harmony at Independence was going to be too nice, that Mom wouldn't be comfortable there. Also, the people I met on the tour made it feel like a really sales-ey kind of place. They felt over-the-top and not genuine.

This is a nice community for your loved one. I would recommend it. They are currently having some staffing issues however, they are working through it. They have activities like crafts, puzzles, art , learning hula dances and themed gatherings.

I think that the staff is very caring and patient with their residents, they talk so sweetly to them. They could definitely use more help around the facility, but I understand there is a staff shortage everywhere right now.

The facility itself is very large, so we figured that personalized care is not as good. It is modern and when we toured the residents seemed to be happy.

We chose Harmony on the Peninsula because it is a newer facility and the atmosphere was more vibrant and active. The ceilings are very tall and the facility gets a lot of natural light, it just seemed more upbeat. The room sizes are very nice. They have had a lot of turnover of staff members and are having an hard time hiring, but I know that is happening everywhere. If I had to make the decision again, I would still choose Harmony. I would definitely recommend to other families looking.

Thomas circle is an average community, they post there activities for everyone to see and it seems like they are a lot of them and that they are enjoyed.

They've had transition with staff. A different family member was in their assisted living and did great there. So I think staff turnover has caused some of the confusion. They haven't had an activities director, although they did just hire one. My loved one has Alzheimer's, and we're trying to get someone to take her to activities. But we have not been successful, and we're very frustrated with that. I think it's a great deal if we could get the things we were promised, particularly the activities. I recognize we have kind of a unique situation where our loved one is completely independent and takes care of herself physically. But she just needs some prompting to go to places. So it's been difficult for us to get her engaged.

I love my apartment here, the full kitchen is wonderful and i have a two bedroom two bath which is a big positive. The value for cost is excellent. For most of my stay we have not had an activities director, but this past week we hired a new one and the activities she has started I have been satisfied with. The negative I have is when you go down to the dining hall for their assigned eating times, it make take around 15 minutes for a wait staff to come get you and then sometimes an additional 15 minutes to be served. In my opinion that is to long. Also sometimes management does not respond in a timely manner.

Okay community, too far for family to visit.

I would suggest you check into this community. Overall the care they provide to the residents, and the community is very clean. It is a brand new community. The food is very delicious, and we've even had a chance to eat with my loved one.

We like the fact that the architecture of the building and the way it is laid out does not feel like a nursing home. It almost feels more like a hotel.

I would encourage you to check out the community. The categories I scored lower is because I think they are understaffed; however, it is hard to find staff right now. Anytime there have been questions or concerns the administrative staff have been attentive towards answering my questions and my loved one.
