Harmony Senior Services

The staff are good; however, they are overworked. The food is very good. This is as good as any that is around. This is a bright place, that has high ceilings. There is an enclosed patio for the residents. I was able to take my loved one's furniture to use in their apartment. The community is able to take care of the medication management for my loved one, the best they can. There is a charge for the family eat with our family member in the community.

The dining menu could be improved and they could offer more activities. They have a variety of meals but sometimes our folks with say it's not the best tasting. Also they are allowed to get extra things and sometimes when our loved one requests something extra the dining staff forget. They do have activities like bingo and card games, but we wish they had more frequent activities and a couple different options.

We have been pleased with our experience with Harmony at Five Forks, I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. There are some items we are still trying to work through. The staff are nice to work with, and are apologetic when they can't get back to me in a timely manner. It seems the residents enjoy the food. Some of the activities that are available are outings, outside entertainment, bingo, puzzles, and more for the residents to choose from. The monthly fee includes the room, housekeeping, all utilities are included except for tv and internet. There are washers and dryer in the apartment and a full kitchen.

We would have preferred Harmony on the Peninsula over the facility that we chose. The environment here is much nicer and the rooms are great. They have that nice durable carpet from wall to wall and all of the rooms have kitchenettes, even the studios. The location is also within walking distance from my work which would have been awesome. Unfortunately he was not able to afford it.

Harmony at Falls Run was our second choice. We thought they were great. They just didn’t have a pool - otherwise they would have been a top contender!

This is a good location for us. My loved one like the communities that offered everything all on one floor.

We had a really good tour experience with The Crossings at Ironbridge. This was our second choice and we feel that it would be a great facility to have a loved one in.

We chose The Harmony Collection because of how close it was to home and also it is a very nice facility. Mom had a suite with her own bedroom and that offered her the privacy that she wanted. Overall I think it is a good place and I would recommend it to other families.

We had a very nice tour with Harmony on the Peninsula. The lady showing us around was super friendly and answered all of our questions, but the facility was just so new that I could not get a good feel for it or how the company ran things. It was a beautiful place.

Friendliness is the main positive thing at this community. The food service could use some improvement and this is the main negative. The tour was great and they gave me everything that I needed and answered all of my questions as needed.

This community was nice but there was another community that I was pre-sold on that made it kind of hard to fairly view this community. They gave me all of the information that I needed on this tour and answered all of my questions.

The main reason that we chose Harmony was because they accepted people who needed more assistance. The other places we looked into did not accept non-ambulatory individuals.

This is a good and clean community. They seem to have a lot of programs available for the residents. I feel like I have to find out a lot of things on my own. It would be nice to have more communication from the staff about my loved one. The evening staff doesn't seem to know as much as the day staff does. My loved one seems to enjoy the food here.

we toured this community and found it to be a nice place with good people. we didn't think that they would be equipped to handle our loved ones level of care or needs.

I would recommend Harmony at Harts Run to others for their loved ones. This is a beautiful community with friendly staff. The staff are good at following up with the family with answers to our questions or concerns that we may have. My loved one thinks the dining service have been good. The food preparation could be improved for the residents

During our tour the receptionist kind of ignored us, but the tour guide was great. I felt that the halls were too long; my mom has a walker and it may have been difficult for her to navigate the hallway. It was also odd that the kitchen inside of the apartments took up so much space. I don't believe my mom would be utilizing the kitchen that much, and it took space away from the living room. We chose another community because Harmony did not have any availability for an independent living apartment.

We had a great first impression with Harmony, everyone was so friendly right off the bat and the place is very clean. It has a lot of natural light and just gives off a briht and cheery place.

I liked this community and it seemed nice. It was close to home also but there was a situation at the community that made me go with another community.

On my tour at Harmony at Columbia, the facility was clean, and everyone was friendly. But I definitely got the feeling it was all about business and making money for them.

We struggled with the decision to put our father in a home and we have been very pleased with harmony for our loved one. The staff have gone above and beyond to help us with everything. They have really been top notch.
