I had no real issues with this facility at all. They gave us a great tour with all the information we could have needed and did a good job thoroughly showing us around and what they had to offer. We just felt a strong pull from another facility so we went with our gut.

People were very nice. Just much further from where we live and almost too big.

We are very pleased so far. My dad has adjusted well. His only complaint is the food. Communication is excellent and they have been very responsive. Yes, 3 meals a day, restaurant style, where they order from the menu. He says the food is too hard, but he does want to complain. So, I have honored his wishes. Apparently he is eating it because he has retained his weight and looks to have gained a little weight.

The staff was friendly and my loved one was attended well. There was, however, a staffing problem with the kitchen. My problem is with the billing, which I'm still working on getting straightened out. I paid in full, but received a bill.

Based off of what I have heard from my family member - he thinks there is great need for improvement in the cafeteria, they are having difficulty keeping staff. The facility is very comfortable, not too fancy and not too plain. It it a great fit for him. It is convenient to retail stores and his friends as well. So far he is enjoying his stay at Harmony at Falls Run.

The staff members are really friendly and so far the quality of care services are really good. Our loved one is eating better there which is great and he is participating in activities here and there.

[name removed] their marketing lady was fantastic to work with - as far as getting all the papers signed and our loved one moved in she made that process much easier. Their activities director [name removed] is great and so high energetic that made a great first impression. There is a really good amount of male population and while the activities director is fantastic, we do wish they made a little but more effort getting the males involved. Sometimes the staff members need a little bit or prompting or reminders but we understand they are incredibly busy so when they do what they are supposed to do, they do a great job.

Very good from move in until present time. Living adjustment but the staff is most welcoming!

We spent a lot of time with Harmony at Oakbrooke during our tour. They went out of their way to try and help us out in our specific situation. We just felt the environment was not the best fit for our loved one.

My loved one is very happy at Harmony. It's a good fit overall. I like the appearance and the atmosphere. Also the other residents are very kind. The only negatives would be the price increase, and the food could be improved.

[Name Removed] was great and so was the director. Since I moved my husband there, I have been less than thrilled with some of the memory care unit staff, particularly the evening staff. They are not always kind to the residents, and have been less than professional at times with each other in the presence of visitors.

My loved one enjoys staying there. Being brand new and with the staffing crisis the dining arrangements have been difficult. Not horrible, but the staff has changed a few times and things are not consistent. I'm sure it'll improve over time. The staff has been great. Very friendly and always willing to help.

It has been noticed between staff and hospice lack of communication and coordination. The patients at meal time may have portions need to be cut in order to eat and cannot be cut with just a fork and the patient may not have the strength to cut the portion size down to bite size to eat.The laundry comes up missing, misplaced or lost even with names on items. The clothes are not arranged back in closets properly after laundered. At times overall supervision and coordination go lacks between shift as a result care of patients is lost. Some staff genuinely care for the patients, while it seems as others will do little as possible till time of shift change or to get off. Continuity of level of care varies among shifts, staff, yet management does not seem to notice. It is a very good and well thought out facility the price is affordable for families to be able to negotiate. Staff is receptive to family interaction and welcomes any advice, or direction the family may give to take better care of their loved one. Facility is always clean and neat staff is very friendly

It’s good. We are content at this point . The community is cleaned on regularly scheduled days. The staff is very friendly. The care is also good. The price is comparable. Overall it’s a good choice.

So far it's been okay. The people are friendly The food is so-so. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes I don't like it. Service in the cafeteria could be improved, and the manager who runs the place is rarely here. So if you have problems, you have to wait awhile. Previously I lived at a different independent facility, and this one is much newer. The apartments are very nice inside. I like the layout. They have nice housekeepers that come around every week or so. And I appreciate what I have here. It's close to shopping and groceries as well, if you drive.

Harmony at Victory Station, like all of the places we toured, could have been a viable place for our loved one. It seemed like a good facility. It seemed to provide the same level of service and care as the other places we toured. We chose based on proximity to where we live. And Harmony was also more expensive.

Make sure you have enough money to afford the care and rent. Stay on top of the staff to make sure they are doing what is expected. Show up randomly to check in. They need to be more detailed while dusting rooms. The toilet paper provided should be softer for the elderly. The smoke alarm and tornado alarm should tell the residents if it is detecting smoke, fire, tornado or other so they know what to expect. They need more nurses and caregivers on staff because too many people push the button for help and it takes to long for a response such as 20 min or more. The property is beautiful and you feel at home otherwise.

What really stood out to us and what we really like about the community is the overall layout as well as the layout of the apartments - everything is very nice and the staff are very friendly. Based on our experience so far with The Harmony Collection at Roanoke we would recommend them to other families.

We toured Harmony on the Peninsula and it was a good experience. The staff were very friendly and knew all of the residents by name and seemed to be involved. They also did a great job with following up with me after the tour. The facility was clean and they allowed me to take a peek into the kitchen as well. I used to work in that business so I knew if the kitchen was clean that meant the rest of the facility would be well kept. I appreciated them letting me do that. The only downfall for us was the multiple levels. With my loved ones lack of mobility, that was a major concern. I did see that they had nursing staff on each floor though. If he were more mobile, this would have been a great fit. But unfortunately it was just not what we were looking for.

Nice facility but due to staffing issues as with most places, they are struggling to keep up.
