They need to change the sheets for independent living. Meet with people like go door to door see how they are doing and ask if they have enough to eat. Do they want to get a ride to the grocery store or do they need help carrying groceries to their apartment. Don't wait for the residents to ask. I know it is independent living but there should still be a level of community service. Very nice new apartment with nice porches. Nice appliances and spacious kitchens. Yes Upgrades apartment with out the sticker shock. Most of the places we toured were old and run down. Harmony apartment's are very new with granite and stainless

Location and recommendation from first ex-wife and easy to break lease. New physical plant and place I wanted was twice price of Harmony At Kent. More is promised in contract than is delivered IMHO.

Newer well kept up facility. Staff is shorthanded, but does a great job. Very friendly. Would highly recommend.

The facility is well maintained and thoughtfully designed with easy access for all types of residence from independent living to assisted living. The location is convenient to supermarkets and restaurants /diners if the resident is inclined. They focus on healthy, available meals, onsite activities & local transportation. The majority of the time the staff has been friendly and polite. The staff seems to have reasonable turnover, meaning not too often and not too long.

Very nice, a good place. Usual issues but they are striving to do well. Kitchen, people didn't seem as old. Warmer entrance. Employees seemed more open.

What I like the most about Harmony at West Shores is the People, food, and parking. Yes I would recommend this community to other families based on my experience

Bottom line is that NO facility is going to take care of your loved one as you would. The more presence you can have there, the better for your loved one. Harmony has very kind and compassionate people on staff but they seem to have staffing issues. I don't think this is anything different than what you will find anywhere else. Sadly, it's the state of healthcare for our elderly today. Our experience overall at Harmony was good and I'm thankful mom had her last few months there.

What we like the most about Harmony at Anderson is probably that they are always on top of things. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community other families.

He liked the music and singing activities. To improve, they need to have on hand end of life care sedatives to manage high agitation and pain for heart failure patients. He was on Hospice but the care facility did not recognize when our dad was struggling to breathe. He was in a lot of pain for days. The Hospice Doctor and did a great job when they were called in. Unfortunately meds were not ordered and on hand to meet needs over the weekend.

It is very well run and comfortable. The staff is friendly and caring. They have improved the variety on the menu, I just think that the general quality of the food could be improved.

Two negatives: Mediocre entertainment. Very poor food and very slow service They run out of food Pluses Nice building and apartments. Very good response to repair things. Nice library Friendly staff

It is well kept, clean and homey atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food quality is hit or miss, simple meals are frequently over or under cooked-locks match doors on other floors so moms had an unexpected visitor twice who was a resident of the floor above that got confused! Rates raised annually (several hundred dollars) despite no improvement in meals. Overall though, mom has made several friends and isn't interested in leaving.

What they could improve on would be the food and with those improvements we would recommend Harmony at Tucker Station to other families.

Mom has settled in beautifully. The staff is kind, and the service is good. Outside of a few hiccups, she has received excellent care. The other residents and the families surrounding them are lovely and might be the community's best part!

The facility is beautiful. Apartments are bright and "homey." Staff is caring, admin is helpful and available, activities are numerous, 3 levels- independent living, assisted living, and memory care

The rental agent could have been a little more informative about hidden expenses. We were also told the unit's carpet would be cleaned before my brother moved in but was not. They are short staffed, especially in the dining room. My brother often gets tired of waiting for his meal to be served and just gives up and goes back to his apartment and prepares his own meal. That's probably my biggest complaint. Overall it's worked out very well for my brother, and I would recommend it to others on a lower fixed income.

It's a low key, relaxed environment with staff and residents who try to be helpful. It seems to me that Harmony continues to evolve.

Transport is available for any resident needing it for appointments. Room sizes are good. We easily fit a twin bed, night stand, chest of drawers, TV and TV stand, and a round oak kitchen table with 4 chairs in the room. My brother would know more about the activities.

I liked the staff but the food was gross. We moved [name removed] from there. They also called the cops on her son which was uncalled for

Was understaffed not sure if it still is. Most activities were for the assisted living section and they were so understaffed that they could not bring the memory care patients over to participate. Especially activities like beauty salon to get you hair done and nails. At the time we were there, there wasn't an activities director. That has changed. But the beauty salon issue still exists since the salon is in living care section of the facility. They kept adding charges in error. Had to be watchful and questioning didn't have the staffing to be proactive with care so my mom had a lot of unexplained injuries but other than that that, the facility is very pleasing to visit. Food definitely needs improvement.
