I'm extremely impressed with Harmony and the facility. I'm also impressed with the staff. I would give it a 4.5 only because I believe there can always be improvement. I dealt mostly with Denise at this facility. It made it easier to communicate with just one person. I felt she really listened to our concerns and addressed them. She also worked can presented options which made it financially and physically feasible for my mother to be placed in the facility.

Everything is good except for the food. Gave up on breakfast, ordered the same thing every morning, they just never got it right. They serve a lot of fish. The service staff is doing their best, but the food they serve leaves a lot to be deserved

They have improved somewhat recently. Still challenged to get timely responses from management. In general, my Mom is happy there, and feels safe. My Dad seems to be getting consistent good care.

Mom is taken care of to the best of their ability. They are careful with her and spoil her. They often have activities, like tea parties, crafts, and guest performers. They have an in-house doctor, so that makes things very easy.

Harmony's staff, even the dining hall servers, are uniformly kind and considerate. They are quick to greet me and my family when we visit and don't hesitate to call if they sense something out of the ordinary or anything they think I should be aware of. My family member at the facility also speaks highly of them.

[name removed] is the greatest care giver we have ever had for our father!!!! The room/apartment sizes are a good size, our father likes the community area.

Everything was exceptionally well overall. The only issue we had was it took about 5 days to get a tv. The laundry service never once did laundry. Miscommunication on needing a laundry basket and them providing one. We had to sign consent to get records from PT. After requesting for 4 weeks we never did get them. After the final stay, we were sent a bill for days after the stay we were not there

The people that take care of the residents are always nice and friendly to my wife and me when we visit, and others that have visited my parent there agree. My parents are residents there and also say that everyone is very nice and kind. I believe they are short staffed in the cleanliness area. Hiring more people to clean would help. I'm not really sure what kind of cleaning they do, but cleaning the bathrooms and sweeping and mopping the floors should be the minimum.

My family was pleased with the way Harmony handled our search and application process. My father is happily situated there for the time being.

So far everyone has been helpful & accommodating to my mother's needs. She loves the food, but doesn't like that they check on her so frequently. I try to explain that the aides are only doing their job. The facility is very clean. My only complaint is that I wish the activities director would try to encourage/engage my mother to participate in activities.

She very happy there. Based on my conversations with my sister and her daughter I would think a 4 or 5 for everything and yes, we would recommend the community to other families based on the experience so far.

Harmony is a nice, clean newer facility. There was a lack of communication I felt. A couple of times I was not notified that my 87 year Mom with dementia had fallen. Her laundry was lost a couple of times. I felt like I had to be on top of everything. Overall not a bad experience but I would like to have seen better communication for sure.

Facilities are very nice and the people are very nice . The only complaint that my mom has is that the food is not that great. We are pretty happy with it. Also. The room is much nicer and bigger and less expensive than the other facilities that we looked at.

Ramp up costs as a whole came as a surprise to me. We went from injury recovery to memory care in less than 15-days. Deposits, purchases of furniture, move-in expenses, establishing routines in a new environment, etc became a full time job for the first 30-days. As things have settled down I’m happy with the choice.

Mom had a very difficult transition period due to uti’s and feelings of loss of independence. Staff learned who she was and what she liked so quickly and gave her grace during her very cranky assimilation time. They provide very human, personalised care. Food is quite good. There are many activities offered which are hard for Mom due to her VERY low vision, but she participates in socials 3 days a week. I think the facility is a really good value proposition.

The only thing that has not met our expectations is the response from the staff when my mother hits her request for service button around her neck or in her room to have someone come to her room. The staff is supposed to be there working 7 minutes but they are not consistently meeting that timeframe and often it takes 30 minutes or longer for someone to come to her room. This needs improved.

It was a beautiful new facility and the residents were safe. My only problem is the staff spent more time on their personal phones then interacting with the residents and a couple were very impatient with some residents. More interaction of the staff with residents, I know [name removed] was not taken to the bathroom as often as regulations require, which means he was walking around soaked clear through almost every time I went.

2 days ago he had to go to the hospital with chest pains....... Attendants slow played the event in my opinion.... could have done better..... Room size is fine, meals seem to be good also. Overall I would recommend this community to others.

Apartments are clean and well cared for, people are all friendly, happy and contented. The meals are not yet up to par.
