For the most part it as advertised. Food is not what was advertised. Some improvements have been made. They still have a way to go to get what we are paying for.

It's a great place nice and clean everyone is friendly. But the food is not good at all when I come here 9mos ago the food was great and lots to choose from now all the servers are leaving now one to work and like l said I can't eat most of the food I have to get up and leave come home to fix something.

+The facility is very clean compared to others I have visited and the staff and residents are very friendly. Most of the staff overall are supportive and encouraging -They have often been short staffed and therefore my mother does not receive the level 5 care she has been told she requires. They have been increasing their staff and so this is improving. There has been an almost complete turnover of upper level staff.

Rooms are large and easy to move around in a wheel chair or walker. The head nurses (Life was the daytime) were excellent and on top the care, although you might have to wait for longer than you wanted. My mother was not very patient and this was difficult for her. The food was average when my mom first went there but improved to good when they got a new chef and dining director. Sometimes they were short staffed in the dining room and service took longer than desired. I felt like dealing with the administration was more difficult than I would have liked. They often did not answer their phones and it took multiple calls to get a call back. The online payment portal worked well and was easy to set up. The staff was good to my mom but she did not like everyone and that was unpleasant for me to manage but I attribute that to my mother more than the staff. The place was clean. The parking was limited but I was always able to find something even if I had to walk farther. The activities were numerous but sometimes canceled due to staffing. IF you couldn't get yourself to the room for the activity you had to wait for staff to come and take you and sometimes that wait was too long. When my mom declined and went on hospice the caregivers, dining people and nurses were very attentive to my mother and also to me.

The staff is very friendly and enjoy their job, the food is good and the activity coordinator works at engaging the residents.

This was my first visit to an age-in-place facility so I did not have others to compare it to. The facility was attractive and there was a nice little village at the bottom of the drive for shopping and restaurants. The drive was very steep and it didn't seem conducive to walking. Everyone was very nice but I am not ready to pay so much a month for services I may need in the future but do not need yet. It would take all my monthly disposable income.

It is neat and they take good care of my mom. Yes, I would recommend this community to others. The only thing I'm not crazy about there although it has gotten better sometimes is their communication.

I have not been there during the day Monday -Friday. Weekends have different employees. They do not come around when family is there. That is what [name removed] told me when I asked why none of the staff is around when I am there. [name removed] is very helpful. When I ask questions about the paperwork to file insurance claim, ask about the Dr on Staff, and about the meals being served, she responds quickly, even at night at 9:00 pm when I thought she would respond the next day. I would recommend them.

Friendly staff, big and new facility.

What we like the most about Harmony at Morgantown is the super friendly staff. It is also very light and bright. Gourmet food. Facility has assisted living and independent living, so there is life and activity.

The director, [name removed], is great with communication with whatever is going on at the facility and responding to you. The lady who cleans up in memory care does a great job. They do have workers who care about the residents. Negative is the amount of time it takes for someone to open the door for you to get into memory care. Some people will watch you walk towards the door and know that no one sits at the desk to let you out. They could get up and look down the hall to see if someone is up there to do it. It took so long to move out because it was a wait to get in and out of the door. You get let in by someone else and there are 2 staff members sitting down. For meals, they need to ask the people who are higher functioning what they want to eat and drink. Not just give what they want. Give them a little cup with dressing in it rather than pouring what someone else thinks is the right amount. Clothes and sheets disappeared.

Staff is very nice ....monthly cost is very competitive I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

Facility is beautiful and Most staff are friendly and helpful. There is just one gal that locks doors early so she can leave directly at 8pm; not 1 minute over. This gal getting home was far more important than my elderly and crippled 82 yr old father attempting to make it to the bathroom.

The raise in January on monthly bill. Way too much in our opinion. Love the daily staff and their care. Very kind and helpful with Mom. Have had some issues with the cleaning of her room.

The first day I moved him in, he had a bowel movement while I walked him to his room for the first time. They knew it, because they made a face at the smell, but did not offer to help me. After that experience however, the staff had been nothing but friendly and good to him. The facility is very nice, clean, and he likes the meals served there

[name removed] was great, very friendly and helpful. I would have rated higher, but the apartments that were available to view had not been completed. As a retired maintenance manager, I would consider hiring a contractor to come in and knock these units out as soon as they become available. You never get a 2nd 1st impression.

The facility is new and is well maintained. The room size is also very good. Food is excellent and there are many activities every day. The area that keeps this overall rating below a 5 is the nurse service is inconsistent with various issues with management of medication. Also some services like the laundry are inconsistent.

Very enthusiastic tour with [name removed]. Her passion for her work and the residents was palpable. I appreciated her time and openness to my questions.

I recently toured the facility in order to see if it would be a good fit for my mother, who is currently a resident in another nursing home. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating. The financial administrator who took me on the tour showed me the assisted living side, even though my mother would be in the memory care unit. I asked about physical therapy and she told me that residents could use the gym? I also asked about activities, dining options, daily living activities, common areas and was shown a small "apartment" which I was told I would need to furnish and she would be all alone in her room. She is incapable of taking care of herself, and I was afraid that she would hurt herself or get sick. The staff to resident ratio was 10:1.

I think this is a good place to be-not cheap but none of them are-food has improved-they try hard to keep people active! I think it's as good as it gets-their is a lot of turnover in this business
