Overall I am very happy with the staff. They address issues quickly and are willing to make accommodations. The community is neat and clean, and the staff is very friendly. The food is very good and they have activities for the residents to participate in. overall I am very happy with this community.

We have been very happy with our experience at Harmony at Columbia. We chose them because of the close location to us, they worked with us to get it within her budget and get the care that she needed, and they had the memory care services that she was needing. The staff are very friendly and receptive, the director gave us her personal phone number and said we can reach out to her whenever needed. She has some issues with her insulin and they were very proactive in correcting the problem and getting the medical care so it would not keep happening. I would absolutely recommend to others looking.

You would definitely have to consider Harmony, because they are a fine outfit. The staff is very friendly, and they take care of mom. She tells me all the time they're always looking out for her. They help bathe her, and they fed her three meals a day. They generally watch over her and take care of her, and I can't ask for any more than that. My mother has never complained about the food, and she always said she'd let me know if it wasn't any good. They have plenty of activities if she were willing and able to participate. And they do encourage her to participate. With the peace of mind I get knowing she's well taken care of, it's worth it to me.

I think it's a beautiful setting and a lovely place to live. I really enjoy living here. Nothing's perfect. I like the accommodations, my home itself. It's perfectly sized for me. And I like the friends I've made here. We have table games, trips to restaurants and things occasionally, and they bring in people to sing and entertain us. Of course with Covid, it's been not as good as it could be. The housekeeping service is good, they just need more help. It's a lot for two or three people to do everything for all of the residents. I believe I heard the staff say we have about 145 residents or so, although I'm not sure if that's just the independent living or if it includes all the groups together. There are a good many couples who live here. The maintenance staff are great. Again, they need more help too. We get physical therapy here, which is just wonderful. The therapists are so helpful. And there's an activity room, a library, and a movie room. The dining rooms and lobby are beautiful. We're finally able to go back into the dining rooms where we couldn't go before, and I'm glad to be back in that beautiful space. They serve us three meals a day if we want them. I'm only choosing to attend the dinner meal and have the rest in my home. Sometimes the food is great, and sometimes it's terrible, one spectrum to the other. It just depends on the cook I guess.

My Mom moved in in [date removed]. It was a tough time to move bc of Covid. The place has been great, a nice sunny apartment, maintenance on hand, my Mom loves the food. They also have very capable rehab therapy on hand which has been wonderful. The sales and marketing department is wonderful as well as the front desk. They have tons of activities to keep residents happy. The overall feeling me and my Mom have is that this place really cares.

Staff is very on top of the cleanliness of this community especially during COVID, they are very nice. The residents are able to eat in the dining hall, but it is staggered due to COVID. Its a wonderful facility, they have a movie a theater, book clubs. There is a workshop for financial planning. Before COVID they had performance groups come in and sing. They have an exercise room, as well as an arts and crafts room. They have a wonderful activity director. Twice a week they have doctors call on certain days, who are there to answers questions, or swing by if needed. We liked that it wasn't to big, and that if he needed to go into assisted living or memory care we wouldn't have to move him to a different community. Its a very classy looking community, it looks like a nice hotel lobby. You wouldn't know that it was a facility. It doesn't looking like a nursing home. It is well maintained. The apartments they provide have a total kitchen, and he has a view of the mountains with a balcony.

My first visit to Harmony I felt as if I was there visiting a friend. Everyone was so nice and friendly. It was around lunch time and it smelled so good. I saw a few people eating cherry pie. Which was my Mom’s favorite pie. They had a beautiful view of the court yard while they were eating. I knew I needed to try and get my Mom in this safe and caring environment. I had so much help from head of nursing [name removed] and Admission Director [name removed]. My Mom’s time there was very short but the love and respect that was given to her and our family will never be forgotten. The staff at Harmony at Martinsburg truly love their job and treat each other and the residence like family. This is a place to call HOME. I am so thankful that my Mom’s final days were spent at Harmony at Martinsburg.

My husband has been at Harmony since [date removed]. I'm very pleased with the care the facility is giving him. I was unable to give him the care he needed. At the time we were in an assisted living facility in Florida. My family is in Virginia, so I searched online and had my daughter visit. She told me there was nothing she did not like about Harmony. I admitted him from Florida,then my daughter and granddaughter came after us and drove all night to get us here. The staff was waiting for us and everything went so smoothly. He likes all of his caregivers but of course he has favorites. [Name removed] makes sure his tv is on the sports channel and they discuss the events. I would highly recommend Harmony at Ironbridge.

Once completed, this location will be a fantastic option for older adults looking for a continuum of care. I met with [name removed] to discuss options for my father in law. [Name removed] was helpful, knowledgeable and compassionate. She discussed various options and the care available at each level of living. She gave me a great overview of the community including photographs of different units and an overall plan for the community. I have researched and toured various facilities in the area and it is my opinion that once completed, Harmony will be a wonderful option. As far as paying for additional services (excluding base rent), this is pretty standard for INDEPENDENT LIVING. It is my experience that those residents who are truly independent, would probably not require full-time medical services or even meals as they would in assisted living or skilled nursing. It should be noted that [name removed] explained that these services are available to independent living residents on an ala carte basis as needed. Overall, I was impressed with the level of professionalism from [name removed] and the staff at Harmony, the options available to future residents and the value of the services/amenities and for those reasons, I am giving Harmony 5 stars.

The staff are friendly and the facility is very nicely set up. They offer a ton of activities and the staff are all very friendly. My father lives here, and the only things which I personally feel are not perfect are the laundry service (missing items, sometimes sloppily folded/sloppily placed in closet or drawers); and there does not seem to be sufficient night staff (my father is often helped into bed much earlier than he would prefer because staff do it when they can fit it in). I get the sense that these issues are common in this type of facility. Overall however, I am extremely pleased and would recommend this facility!

We are so pleased at the Church services that the Crossings have every two weeks--the two or sometimes three guitarists are WONDERFUL and the Preaching from the tall bearded man is exceptional--thank you all for having them come every other SUNDAY at 9 am, Mother and Father just love it--they asked why more people do not come

This is a nice community. We like the care from the staff who are very caring. The community is clean and a very good environment for my mom. I like knowing that she is very happy with the menu. They have activities that are offered for the residents that want to participate. We would recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.

Dad really likes living at this community. He has a nice suite and the community is clean. The food is good and they offer a large variety of options on a menu. They have a large variety of activities including various trips out. The only thing I see that could be improved is the grounds. They have good medical care and the doctor comes out to visit. I would recommend this community.

I am very satisfied with the spacious apartment that my wife and I moved into at this community. We have a lovely full kitchen with lots of big windows that give us a beautiful view of the woods. They have a great activity program that has more than enough games and events planned to keep us busy throughout the day as well as meet all of the other residents that live in the complex. I think my wife and I have found the perfect home and am looking forward to my future here.

My loved one is very happy with her move to this community. The community is brand new, so it's only one-third full so far. The place is maintained well, they clean my loved one's room once a week. The community provides a choice of either lunch or breakfast and the food is fantastic. They have a theater where they play movies, my loved one goes with friends often. They have a concierge who checks up on her when she's not feeling well, as well as take her dinner to her room. Her room is comfortable, she has a huge walk in closet.

I would give the food a 2. It was not what I anticipated based on the sample I was given. We are trying to work with them to improve this. They offer daily activities, however they are not utilized by the residents. They keep the community clean. I would recommend this and let them know about my concerns up front.

The Chamberlin is a great place to live. There are lots of amenities: indoor pool, gym equipment, fine dining, inside and outside activities, transportation service, every other week housekeeping, onsite rehabilitation service available, caring friendly staff and residents, and the view is magnificent!

The Chamberlin is beautiful and I love walking my dog along the sea wall and watching the ships coming and going. The residents and staff are very friendly and helpful. I'm still unpacking so I haven't had time to investigate the activities yet. I rented this place sight unseen and it has been everything I expected and more.

Harmony it Falls Run has been good overall. Lots of social opportunities for the residents and [name removed] likes the food. The cleaning isn't the greatest, but the staff is super nice and generally whatever [name removed] needs is taken care of in a decent amount of time.
