We are very pleased with The Crossings at Harbour View. She settling in and getting into the activities. We've had dinner there several times and the food is fine. All in all it is a beautiful facility. It is very well appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are activities for everyone's needs. They really try to have a variety for everyone. I am very pleased overall.

I could not be happier with the Crossings of Columbia. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. In fact, my mom's doctor has commented how much improved the communication is between this facility and their office In marked contrast to the previous facility my mom was in which neither returned the doctor's numerous calls nor consistently provided her daily blood sugar measurements as requested. The movers that moved my mom into The Crossings were even duly impressed, giving it 5 stars and high praise over anything else in Columbia they had seen. My mom is responding positively to the wonderful food , consistent care and nice staff too. She is laughing more and engaging with others more also. In fact, a relative called me a couple of days ago wanting to know if mom's meds had been changed. I replied "No". Then she preceded to tell me mom and she had talked for a long time about old times, something my mom has rarely done in the past. My relative was floored. I am very pleased. I will always be thankful to "A Place for Mom" for recommending The Crossings to my family.

I think The Village on Pheasant Ridge is great. My Mom loves it. She just moved in and is very happy. I am very glad that my mother is happy and comfortable here. Everyone has been very nice and friendly.

First, no human waste smell - anywhere! Second, FRIENDLY service from everyone, from administrators to care givers to maintenance to food services, etc. Third, happy residents. A rare thing to see when looking for a new home for Mom and/or Dad. Fourth, a detailed step-by-step review of ALL of the costs that even I was able to follow. Fifth, if they promise something, they deliver on that promise. In fact, they bend over backwards to accommodate you and your loved ones. Sixth, it's so affordable compared to, well, anywhere else in the area. In short, I'm so happy I was able to get my Mom in this facility. It took some time but she's happier here than in her old apartment (she'd deny it, of course).

We have been here a little over 2 weeks and love it. We have had lots of help in making our 2 br apartment our home. We hope to be here long term. Everyone is friendly and supportive. We highly recommend it.

The Crossings was amazing! Dee Hook, Anne, and staff have done an amazing job in making sure that every little thing has been taken care of! All areas are perfect for assisted and memory care! My mother would be very happy there!!! Thank you for such a wonderful tour and caring spirit! 5 stars for sure!!!

beautiful views. love the indoor pool and gym equipment. variety of food, good service. Always something to do: bridge, canasta, mah jongg, choir, off campus activities. transportation available for doctors, shopping, train station, various outings. staff who genuinely care about us residents.

This facility was very nice again it was on the high end of our price range but were it that Mother had better mobility it would have been very nice.

My mom just moved to The Village 1 month after my father died She loves it. The apartment was painted and had new carpet. "Neat as a pen" she says. The food is delicious and nutritional. I am happy knowing she is safe and cared about. The staff is very nice and helpful. We recommend this place to everyone who wants to be active and happy as a senior! !

I think it’s wonderful. Our loved one is a new woman. It changed her life. She was living in Leisure World and never really knew anyone. Once she moved in here, she’s met a lot of people – now she’s out every day! She loves the food! There are so many actives going on! They have Happy Hour every day.

The Crossings at Falls Run is a great place to live. Independent living offers large inviting apartments with plenty of natural light. You can find Julie, Ester, and Lauren walking the building, talking to the residents and offering laughter and hugs at any given time. The pub offers Happy Hour each night before a delicious dinner is served by one of the best chefs in Fredericksburg. Assisted Living offers large apartments with care and assistance from a loving dedicated staff. Clean, friendly, modern and definitely worth a visit!

Sara Weatherill had me ready to move in. The apartment and the view were lovely. Ms. Weatherill was knowledgeable of the community, extended an invitation to participate in a community activity. While the community fee was about the average for this and several other locations the monthly rental and asset verification are beyond my scope at this time.

I think it's about as good as you're going to find around here without paying a fortune and it's also one of the best, if not the best prices in the area. Some people like the food, some people don't but that's just about the only thing you hear about. They wouldn't let my mother put up the porch swing I gave her as a house warming present so she could look at the mountains, they said it would ruin the structural integrity of the building so I guess they've got engineers over there also. She's playing bingo, she's playing bridge, they have corsswords and I think she's gone to a movie or 2, I think she was planning on going over to the ymca pool, she's missed out on the first couple of times they went but that's on her list of things to do over there. This was one of the newest facilities, so thinking newer was better, and the square footage was better, I didn't look at any others. We took a 3 1/2 hour tour, talked to the people who lived there, talked to the bartender at the happy hour, talked to the people who worked there. I'm not a shopper, I'm a hunter so when I find what I'm looking for I get it. I think she's enjoying the freedom of not having to shop and cook, plus she's walking more.

So far id say its real good, a think theres a little confusion at the front desk. Theres sometimes things theyll advertise are going to happen and they dont know about it but its just little things like that and it could be because its new. The always post activities on a calendar so you know what's going on during the month.

very new; loved the area and community but too expensive, no porch or balcony. had independent living plus which is perfect for her.

include a kitchenette, weekly housekeeping, laundry services and regular apartment maintenance is included in your affordable monthly rent. Dad was very impressed and we were too, looking to go there by the end of May

I find the place quite clean. And the staff friendly there food is of the highest quality, but for the dementia patience, it is a bit much. Portions are a bit overwhelming for the memory care residents. The staff work diligently to care for their charges but the need more staff for the amount of work. They do try to do activities, but the mental capacity does make it difficult. The price is a bit daunting, but that is everywhere. But overall my mother has improved by being there.

The tour at Harmony at Mt. Juliet was wonderful, we just didn't feel that for the special care needs our loved one needed were able to be accommodated at this location. Overall though wonderful facility and staff.

I would tell anyone that it is a loving and friendly place. It smells good and is bright and clean. Like every other business they are suffering greatly with finding reliable help with housekeeping and food services. The medical staff are loving and compassionate.
