The staff is kind, compassionate and treats everyone with dignity and respect. They enjoy their job and it shows. They know everyone's name, which made my loved one feel like family. I have told many people about A Place for Mom. Baby Boomers are in the stage of life where we are taking care of our parents.

[removed name], our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She stopped frequently to ask if we had any questions about anything. She knew every resident by name that we passed in the hallway. She invited us back to bring my in-laws for a visit. The facility was clean, neat and orderly.

We just toured Harmony at Hershey on [date removed] and then again on [date removed]. It is conveniently located off of Rt.39 (close to Hersheypark Drive) and it overlooks HersheyPark and the Giant Center. It is a fairly new facility (less than 5 yrs operating) and it still looks and feels new. The lobby and common areas are inviting and warm and they have a "hotel/resort-like" feel. The dining rooms feel like a restaurant and the menus offer numerous and options. We have not had the opportunity to actually see or partake of any of the meals, so I cannot speak to this to address any negative reviews from 1-3 years ago. We will be moving into an Independent Living unit in [date removed]. The apartment is very spacious and has a beautiful kitchen with appliances. Unit also includes a stackable washer/dryer. There appears to be many activities for the residents and the staff that we encountered were friendly and appeared caring. I may look into volunteering to assist if any staffing issues become an issue.

I enjoyed my visit to Harmony house. The outside of the building is attractive as well as the inside. The furnishings and decor in the common rooms are inviting. The floorplan seemed very generous. Activities are posted. I think one would find a sense of community with the 150 so residents.

All of my experiences with Harmony have been positive . Personal attention has been given in every step of the way. The facility is clean and inviting. I was especially pleased with the cozy atmosphere in the memory care area.

It's the most open & friendly place we visited, where most people seem like family. It just has a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Newer and less expensive compared to where he was. Would recommend

The apartment size is great, I have a 2 BR 2BA. Most of the staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Harmony, yes, that's her name. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

This facility is beautiful as it is only three years old. Our recent tour was very nice as we saw the independent living area as well as the assisted living space. Much is offered in the rate for assisted living like laundry twice a week, meals, activities, and housekeeping. The studio in assisted living is adequate for one person. The monthly rate can jump sharply based on what the clinical staff determines. We were hit with a huge jump in rates because of the assessment from the clinical stuff but the clinical staff did not provide a reason for the increase in the fee. Communication began to lack at this point and because we couldn’t get clear discussions for the rate increase we decided to move on. If price is no object then this is your place.

All a 5. I was very happy with the facility. We only moved because my mom needed assistance, and we found another place more affordable to make her money last longer.

The ladies at the reception desk are extremely helpful and kind. My parents received a very warm welcome and everyone seems to be ready and willing to address concerns as they arise.

I am Delmar Barrett, Brother of [removed name] who recently passed away. She lived there for over a year, this was probably some of the best time in her life , the staff were so good to her and her family. She got balanced meals everyday , had special events, loved playing Bingo. I was there every week to see her, have Ice Cream Sunday on Sunday. They made her feel like she was a very special person and the guest that lived there were very nice to her and she loved them. If you are at a point in your life where you need a little extra care and want to be with people consider Harmony . If I get to a point like my sister did I will very much consider Harmony to live out my life in happiness.

This is an amazing place. It is clean, bright, and welcoming. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The apartments are well laid out and offer everything my dad needs. So glad we found such a wonderful place for my dad!

Larger rooms and more facilities than the competition. I would recommend to others.

Visiting Harmony was a fairly pleasant experience for my mother and me. The first impression was mostly positive. She especially liked the studio apartment space. The resident who allowed my mother to take "a look" at her apartment was very much appreciated--thank you. We did notice a urine smell as we walked on the second floor that day. It made me wonder about the frequency of cleaning as well as the depth of cleaning done in the residences' units. I did notice staff while there that day. Staff seemed friendly enough; however, there was one interaction with a staff that wasn't as "cozy." Yet, the majority of staff we ran into was welcoming.

5 to all. What we like the most about the community is that they have been able to help us worked through any issues that have arisen. Yes, we would recommend Harmony at White Oaks to others based on the experience so far.

When I come to see my loved one in memory care she is well taken care of. The staff knows who I am there to see and updates me. They are always willing to help in anyway

The staff were very informative and welcoming. Lots of activities and people to interact with for the residents. The grounds had lots of places to go for independent living and a courtyard for memory care residents.

Everything is a 5 except the dining. I will rate a 3. Everybody is remarkably caring, happy and helpful. The residents seem to be so happy.
