Eden Senior Care

As a resident, I must say that the staff is friendly and accommodating. However, we haven't had WiFi for over 33 days and are going into our third day without television access. The activities department needs work. They are geared to the majority of black residents. The food is average at best and they use too much pre-made frozen and eat components to the meals.

We were only there for three days before Ma passed away. Overall 3 because we paid for five weeks and it took forever to get our funds returned....the place was clean, it did not have odors. The entire staff of care people was great. Food was pretty good too. Nice facility. Othere than the office/$$ hassle the staff and facilities were very good.

The management team doesn't work together, do not inform you about increases, never return phone calls or emails. I feel for those who don't have anyone to advocate for them. The every day staff is wonderful.

We have had issues but they have been addressed. The staff has been ok but weekend staff has forgotten about her. There have been issues with staff forgetting to change mom or take to dinner. Issue was addressed. Our loved one has complained about food amounts and quality. The staff do keep her busy and the cost has been the most appreciated

As of [date removed], Trustwell has sold the Rock Run Assisted Living Facility to Eden Vista. During the meet and greet at the end of May with the new company we were told NO ONE WOULD BE LOSING THEIR JOB. Unfortunately, Eden Vista is not true to their word as they have fired six people from the facility. This includes the activity director, maintenance director, assistant executive director and others. The facility is less than half full and now staff has been cut even further. Many people are leaving due to the changes.

I have reservations about recommendations. Seek another facility.

The employees are friendly and at the moment I would not recommend this community to other families.

They are short staffed and cutting corners. My father has gotten sick from the food served and I was never notified he was vomiting and had diarrhea. Placed several work orders and weeks later still waiting for completion. Will be looking for another location if things don’t change soon with the new ownership.

They were a great resource when we needed quick respite care for our family member!

Charter was chosen because it's one of the few Level or Care 2 facilities in the area. It appeared to be the best option at the time and was a short drive away.I would tell people that the level of care is below average, the menu could be improved and the additional cost of Level 2 care is overpriced especially when my mother is rarely ever assisted by two care aides when she is moved in and out of her bed.

My loved one was a resident at Trustwell Living at Rock Run Place and overall the experience was okay. I would not recommend the facility to others.

This facility is in transition. New owners and such. I worked many years as a CNA in these types of facilities from would not take my dog there to the ritz. Best for the buck after numerous viewings.

The facility was having issues taking care of my loved one's dietary needs and making sure that my loved one's heating aids were put in daily. It had taken many meetings to get them taking care of these things more consistently.

We picked this community, because it was the only place we could afford. It's mediocre at best.

We toured Willow Falls during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was okay. However, the resident rooms were small The facility also didn't seem to be organized. We decided to continue on with our search.

I do go to visit once or twice a week. She has the hardest time on the day when she has to empty her bowels. She is paralyzed from the waist down and needs extra help every 5/6 days in order to void. On those days she's not had a positive experience over the 3+ months that she's been there and it's been extremely difficult and upsetting. They've had instructions from her physician but each week they seem to be unprepared. The bigger problem too is the fact that they are short staffed and at times my sister is waiting for help for at least an hour and often over 2 hours for someone to help. They courted her for weeks..saying that the facility was well equipped to help her easily!!! The fact is my sister is very unsatisfied and feels helpless. They say that they know and understand her needs but fall short each week. Last thing I'll say is that they are short staffed and the good ones are overworked!

Excellent therapy department, food is terrible, not enough aides in SNF, kind nurses but management. Unable to deliver pain meds needed at night in assisted living in a timely manner. Residents eat at tables alone in Assisted Living vs communal tables in SNF. I believe the facility staff is extremely well intentioned but are hindered by their corporate bosses to max out profits.

Dimensions Living Burr Ridge has been short staffed. Their turnover is frequent. Rarely see the same nurse twice. Their activities department is great and keep the residents engaged. Also happy with physical therapy.

The general area is clean but I was under the impression, that housekeeping would be available in my loved ones room, but that has not happened. We picked Charter, because at the time my loved one needed additional care. They need to improve on responsiveness, and attentiveness to the clients. My loved one needed assistance, and pushed the call button for help, and no one was available for two hours. It would also be nice if they had helpful and friendly staff throughout the facility.

I toured this facility but didn't really care for it. It didn't feel very inviting when you walked in.
