Nice place. Seems well run.

The staff that I had contact with were very friendly. I saw a lot of activities going on, they have singing groups, and the bus that takes them out, and a lot of other activities. The food was good. The value was good, but the billing had some errors, in the beginning, and they were supposed to be fixed, but they don't have a lot of time to get the bill in the mail, and return it and then there is a late fee. The head office seems to have some turnover. The rooms are great, I think the workers need to be paid a little more.

Everyone has room for improvement, but they do pretty good. They get back to us pretty quickly. There have been no complaints about the food. One thing they could improve on, is their follow up with residents, to make sure there are no issues.

I haven’t been really impressed with the activities. They could amp up the activities a little bit. My dad is on oxygen and we are having some issues with the caregivers. When they take him to a meal, they are supposed to put him on portable and then back on the main concentrator, when he comes back from meals. When that switch back hasn’t happened, sometimes he runs out of oxygen and that isn’t good. I’ve eaten there a couple of times and my dad seems to like the food, he really likes the breakfast. It’s a very clean community. We’re real pleased with it.

They do a pretty good job. When we call they respond very quickly, I am not sure about how fast they respond to the call bells. My dad doesn't use them much. They seem to have a good amount of things going on. My dad seems to love the food, I would give it at least a 4.5. He really likes the desserts. I would like to see the aides get the residents up and walk them around a little more. We needed skilled care, and they were able to offer that.

The general attitude was more pleasant than anywhere. My husband is happy with the food. The parking is not good. This is better than the other communities that my husband has been at! It’s very clean and the care services are excellent. The staff is very friendly.

I toured the Mentor facility, not Willoughby, because it was closer to home. I liked it very much but the rooms are very small and the costs are still quite high.

It was a nice place. The memory care is all just one floor. It felt more institutional than home like to me. We were worried about if there was a fire on the 4th floor and everyone trying to get out with just the little elevator. It just didn't really work for our needs.

It's a very nice place the people are wonderful. I've eaten there a couple of times and I think it's good. Sometimes you ask people billing questions and sometimes it takes a little while to get back to you. That has nothing to do with the caregivers.

She had been here and done some respite before she moved, the prices were pretty reasonable, actually, substantially less than the other places in the area, she knew some of the people on the staff and they were familiar with dealing with her. Right now we're working on medication so that she can go back. The care has been pretty good, she was kind of sneaky with the medications and they brought it to our attention that she was trying to hide it but she was in the general community and not the alzheimers unit, but that progressed rapidly. They did have people over with her helping her get involved with games and things like that so if we can get her to where she can go back we'll see how it goes.

It was very nice. It was bigger and the staff was very nice. My family was not happy with the head of nursing there. We just didn't like it. He kept pressing medicine and saying my mom needed more medicine. It was great when she was still about to do the assisted living. It was clean and nice so there was nothing wrong with the physical space, it was just the head of nursing there.

Their fees are a little high. The staff is friendly - the nursing staff does not seem to be very friendly. When you approach them, yeah, but when you just see them they kind of run other way. I don't get any questions answered, put it that way. Most of the time the nursing staff either doesn't know or isn't there. The doctor ordered my mother to be on insulin that lasted 36 hours but it was being given to her every 24 hours and she became hypoglycemic and we almost lost her. I think that was the doctor's mistake but the nurses could have caught on. It's kind of like deliver the meds and go home. I'm a nurse so I know and that's just not the way you run things. They were helpful in getting eveything together to transfer my mom. I have to give them credit for that.

(Activities Not Rated) The community is very new it is only about 1 1/2 years old. It is very clean, new and well maintained. They are very well organized. The size of the room was really good. They have the ability to handle a variety of challenges. The price was very good for the services they offer. There were a number of people that were quite friendly and helpful. They did not oversell the community like other places.

Visited on 5/18. Smallest Sunrise facility within 15 minutes of my house. Rooms have handicap accessible showers. Closest to doctors and Good Shepherd Hospital. Will cost about $116/day. Nurse from facility will assess dad on 5/20. Overall this place is much better for my dad than home.

Nice place overall. All inclusive.

The director was a great tour guide. The facility is a welcome change to the others we've seen in that it offered a different scenario to show my parents when they visit. The cottage set-up is very homey and cozy. The grounds were nice and sequestered back in a wooded area and seemed very peaceful for a busy area.

Bldg small and old. Facility specialized in Parkinson. Had dog and cats. Walker for Parkinson, u-step. room was nice. microwave /refrig in closet, common areas tight and tired. People seemed nice. workers ~14 yrs. High marks for Parkinson knowledge.

close to lake west. can do a short term stay to try it out.Very nice and can handle incontinence and limited mobility. Church pastor feels this is a good place.

Awesome place. The most expensive of all checked, but very clean, staff friendly and knowledgable. Schedule is flexible enough for her needs and rooms are nice size with ample storage spaces.

I went to see it and it looked very nice, I like the apartments and the ala carte options, the director has been a big help.
