It is a very nice place to live. It is very good place and I like the location. I would recommend this place to others.

[name removed] was so awesome she followed up and took extreme care of listening to the needs for my brother. Although the price was not in his budget range, we were please with the attention we were given. The facility was absolutely beautiful and everything were we were wanting.

Discovery Commons is absolutely the best. My father was in [community removed], and we moved him out of there because that place turned into a nightmare. He was so neglected and ended up in the hospital. Discovery is absolutely amazing. The director is on board with everything. She and the staff are absolutely wonderful and my dad is actually being taken care of now the way he should be. I feel so sorry for the memory care patients at Summerfield. That place is absolutely horrible and the residents are taken care of like something out of a horrific movie. The smell of urine was abominable, the way the residents looked and smelled was unbelievable and my father was locked out of his room for 8 hours one day. No one would let us speak to him. I actually had to call the sheriff department to have a well check. If you need info on any place, you need to start with Summerfield and find someone to get rid of that nasty director who cares nothing about her residents. All I can say is thank god discovery commons had an opening to accommodate my father. He is now happier, well cared for and most of all "safe".

Their management and the staff are wonderful, made the transition easy and smooth We got a newly renovated apartment and it's beautiful, spacious and we have a great patio for her and her dog that has a mountain view. They are still renovating it so all the amenities are not easily available, but Peggy immediately found a nice table to sit at and people were so friendly. If there was one area for improvement, it would be the food!

She was upset and crying when I left her there for the first time even though we had visited previously. They were very comforting and loving to her throughout her stay.

[name removed] was fantastic and provided in depth insights that were critical. Her approach and the facility were what ultimately allowed is to choose Northridge for my mothers care!

I was pleased to find the amenities that benefit our family member. The staff were pleasant. The residents that I spoke to seemed happy and content.

I would like to tell you that I would highly recommend The Summit to anyone looking for a very nice place for a family member to live especially if they are looking for memory care! The staff is very friendly and the place is always very clean and doesn't have that odor that a lot of the other places have.

[name removed] gave us a thorough tour & gave us all the information we were looking for. This facility is beautiful and kep immaculately clean. It has lots of amenities included in their pricing.

[name removed] was very pleasant, her actions with the residents was heartwarming. And knowledge with the community made me feel comfortable to be a potential candidate for my dad.

Spacious one-bedroom accommodations, delicious food, and plenty of activities to enjoy. The location is excellent, and the staff are wonderful—friendly, helpful, and attentive. There is also a strong Christian community, with a church located within the building, which many residents may appreciate.

Discovery Village is a very good choice for me. My daughter and I are very satisfied. It was a difficult decision to make as there are so many factors to consider. Discovery Village was sold and renamed about a year ago. It has been redecorated and refreshed in all public areas in the last few months and is lovely and updated in all the public areas . I believe some of the apartments, including my one bedroom have been recently redone. My apartment is a one bedroom with a new granite countered bathroom with a large walk-in shower. There is also a full kitchen (granite counter) with a stove and refrigerator. All apartments have large new windows )that can be opened) views of the surrounding trees and suburbs. My apartment has a view below my windows of the Des Plains river , the highway, and the train tracks. Many planes fly in and out of the nearby airport night and day, although you cannot hear them. From my window, I can see the Chicago skyline on the horizon. Staff and residence are all friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is consistent and you soon look forward to particular favorite dishes. Physical Therapy staff is patient and knowledgeable exercise room well equipped, and pleasant. I am looking forward to using the large swimming pool with a skylight and glass walls on two sides. I am imagining that it is like swimming inside of a snow globe surrounded by actual snow in the winter. There are many activities And celebrations that include everyone. Many group activities in the spacious living room room, such as bowling volleyball, and various chair exercises. There are many musical entertainments that residents enjoying and sing along with. The à la cart services of custom Home care are a great benefit to me. I was in assisted living before this, but thought I could manage independent living. The services are very flexible and top notch. Leadership is professional and kind,. The head of every department has come to my apartment in person to discuss my needs. No one seems to rely on phone calls or messages. Everything is in person.

We love it here! We've met lots of nice people and there are many activities here. We're never in our apartment because we're always doing something. Every Friday is Happy Hour with singers who entertain us for an hour.

After visits to 2 facilities that I found acceptable but my uncle rejected & a tour of an independent living facility which didn't provide for enough of his needs, my uncle & I found Marbella Chico, recommended by A Place for Mom.

I would give a 5 on each of the categories. I have been very pleased with everything overall and mom doesn't have complaints. I would recommend Morada Southridge community to other families based on the experience

Overall, the experience was good, and the staff/care was good; the facility was very nice and kept clean, most of the rooms were private and a good size. Overall my husband was treated well and if something additional was needed it was taken care of if at all possible.

We were very impressed with the staff, facilities, and amenities. The atmosphere was bright and lively, and the residents seemed happy and engaged. After touring seven places, this is the one we recommended most highly to our niece, who would make the final decision.

I am looking forward to bringing my parents for a visit. I told them how much I enjoyed the visit and now they want to see. Will be scheduling soon.

I think it's a winner. It's our top choice. The staff was nice gave me a nice tour. Great place! Thanks
