The Sales Manager was very courteous and professional in explaining everything to us. We liked the spaciousness and facilities offered. The general appearance was clean and functional. The menu for all meals looked very well balanced.

Our family’s experience with Discovery Village at the Dominion has truly been a positive one. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the overall atmosphere feels warm, welcoming, and cozy — exactly what we hoped for in a memory care community. The memory care side uses the SHINE program, which has been wonderful for keeping residents engaged, stimulated, and supported throughout the day. I can genuinely tell the staff cares about my father. They leave encouraging notes on his board, greet him every time he comes and goes, and make him feel known and valued. That level of consistency and kindness means the world to us. The transition into the community was incredibly smooth. We were on a tight timeline and needed placement within a week, and the team went out of their way to help us get everything arranged quickly and with no added stress. It felt effortless on our end, and we are so grateful. Most importantly, I feel safe and confident knowing my father is well cared for, surrounded by people who treat him with respect, patience, and genuine compassion.

Very nice facility. Living space divided into 3 pods with rooms along the perimeter. As much like home as a facility can be. Only downside- communal showers. Large shower room with 3-4 shower stalls and a jetted tub. I am not a fan of that set up.

They have friendly staff, great activities, fair food and dining, apartment is adequate size with new floors and carpet and new appliances, but old cabinets . It was easily the best deal of the three places we visited.

Homeplace has made the transition for my mother moving to ALF seamless. The staff truly care and strive to make each residents experience great. They have gone above and beyond for my mother and our family. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Overall, Mom has been very happy there. The facility is very clean and her housekeeping service has been good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is access to a home Healthcare company which has been helpful. Administrative staff is friendly, helpful and communicative. Food is good but the variety could be better. Recent changes made in response to resident requests. New ownership has made great improvements to the activities list and there are a lot of options. Well worth the cost which seems to be lower than similar communities nearby.

For more than seven years this home has been a wonderful place to spend my golden years. I feel very fortunate that I found the Chateau when I began this last chapter of my long life.

I feel very comfortable here and made many friends whom I feel very close too. The staff who I have the most dealings with are friendly, caring and very helpful. They are concerned about when I am hurting. I have two little companies who are also made my life happy and enjoyable. I am looking forward to many happy years here being close to family.

Chateau Ridgeland is a wonderful place for seniors. Private apartment style homes, They provide 3 meals a day which are both delicious and nutritious. They also provide housekeeping for your apartment. My housekeeper is named [name removed] She is very good at her job. She is also very nice and friendly. Always with a smile on her face. She always asks if I need anything that she can do. I know I can always count on her.

Waiting too long for meals. Have engaged my 5 months. Housing cleaners very good people. Employees very helpful and friendly.

Food I am told is very good. Apartment sizes are fine don't know much about the amenities.

The staff is great. We are very well taken care of. There is a variety of activities. It was the best decision I made in picking out an independent living facility

Lovely location and layout. Very clean. Plenty of visitor parking. Plenty of open air spaces for the residents to enjoy the out of doors and views of the ocean. Very thorough tour and discussion of the routines and activities.

Discovery Commons South Biscayne is a rare find in today’s medical world. My father was in memory care for 16 months and I always felt confident that he was getting the best physical and mental care. My mother decided to sell her house and go into independent living there, but unfortunately her health declined and she needed assistance and eventually hospice. Both experiences were everything the family could have asked for. The staff, at all levels, is warm, compassionate, caring and friendly.

So far the staff and residents have been very supportive and friendly. The food is very good. Plenty of choices for most tastes. Healthy foods are available, but there's no lack of lovely looking rich desserts. It's expensive, but the benefits of living at the Summit include some unexpected perks. The maintenance and security seem like strong points. There are lots of activities. While I am still unpacking and settling in, I haven't had time to participate in much, but I expect to be doing more soon. The main thing I like is the location. The size is good too. Not too big. The Independent Living director is dedicated to making sure that the experience is positive.
