The director [name removed] has been great. When I got a call on thanksgiving day last year that mom had to be out of rehab on Saturday. I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to do. My brother and I had already checked out Bennett place a couple of days before. We didn't have time to check any other places out for her so I needed a place asap. I called [name removed] in a panic on thanksgiving day and he was amazing. He calmed my fears of what to do. He went and evaluated her the very next day and we got the process started. There is one nurse named [name removed] that has also been very helpful to me and kind to my mother since the start of her stay. I am keep me well informed and updated on any changes. So far I have been very pleased with Bennett place and it will be a year next month. I would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with LakeHouse. It has been a really good fit for my Mom. I would recommend it. It has nice size rooms, a wonderful staff. Just an all around great place. I would live there if I could.

Friendliness of staff, people, excursions, food, and overall feel of just being in that environment. Yes, I would recommend The Gardens of Bellaire to other families, I love it here.

The only concern is feeling more active and independent than many of the other residents in the dining room and at group activities. One person moves at a different pace, but overall they've enjoyed almost everything there. I don't think the community can really change the age range of its residents - just my two cents!

My father was a resident for a year and a half. After initially being against moving into assisted living, he came to love the place and people. The staff on all levels were great. The facility is very nice with updated amenities. Good food and activities. I highly recommend Morningside.

The staff is outstanding! Everyone is wonderful and helpful in every way. The library is extremely important to me, and they have a wonderful, organized library with a large variety of books. I love to read the newspapers in the library every day. The Des Plaines Library is just a block away if I need a particular book. I have physical therapy at Discovery and the staff is professional, efficient and they know their field very well. I enjoy eating the delicious meals in the dining room.

5 's for everything except administrative staff 4 for them. What we like the most about the community is the food quality and options, friendly staff, activities offered.

They have an incredible and caring staff. They are respectful, caring, professional and have a positive attitude. I have made friends here who are also veterans, and we have bonded over our shared experiences. I appreciate Brookdale honoring the veterans on holidays. I would highly recommend Discovery Village.

As a geriatric APN, I had many opportunities to visit the independent living communities in my area and when it came time to choose, I chose Discovery Village Des Plaines! The community has met all my expectations; the location is close to my family, the quality of my apartment, excellent meal plan, friendly interactions with my fellow residents, the ability to transition to assisted living when needed, and value for the investment.

The staff at OITP is so thoughtful and caring. They are always accommodating for my parents needs or with anything we ask of them. The executive staff are always pitching in to serve meals if need be or even escort residents to meals if there is any confusion on the part of the resident. Basically whatever needs to be done they will jump in and do. Very friendly place. The employees and the residents are friendly and usually have a smile on their faces. It is a comfort knowing my parents are there because they are safe.

[name removed] gave me a tour of the place and a one bedroom apartment the apartment was nice and the place seemed OK. I appreciated the information and [name removed] kindness. I also met with an [name removed] who works for a separate company that provides the care for the people that live there she was nice and helpful as well. This was the first place that I had visited so I’d like to see some other facilities so I can have an idea of what to expect. Finding an environment that’s safe and has the level of care my parents need is so important as well finding an environment that they can thrive in.

My family recently toured the Shasta Senior Estates facility in Redding last week on behalf of my 88 year old father. It is a lovely, well maintained facility for independent seniors. We were greeted by [name removed]. He provided a comprehensive tour and lots of information about the lifestyle and culture of the facility. My father will be in need of a more structured program based upon his specific needs. I recommend Shasta Senior Estates, it is a lovely place with lots of activities for independent seniors.

I was impressed on your facility. Was very clean. Staff was friendly clients look happy being there. My tour went very well and everything was explained to me, and all my questions were answered. I would highly recommend your place to other family and friends. My mother is on Medicare and Medicaid which doesn’t help very much since 100% of this is out-of-pocket, therefore I wish these type of facilities were less expensive.

Everyone was very nice. Apartment is small but very nice. I was impressed with all the community spaces and cleanliness of everything. I look forward to joining the community and moving in tomorrow.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at this facility for about nine months. The facility is always clean and I can tell my mother-in-law has been very well cared for. She is happy there and enjoys all the activities.

My family and I are currently navigating the assisted-living and now memory care phases for my mom. Mom has lived in assisted living here since March of this year. The transition was handled with grace and dignity, extreme caring and very attentive and competent caregivers. We are now transitioning to memory care although it is difficult. Everyone has contributed to Mom‘s success in this journey. After extensively, researching and visiting numerous places in Gaston County, I am confident to give a review of five stars and encourage you to experience what they have to offer at Morningside.

My parents and I took a tour of Hilltop Estates. [name removed] was our host and he was very thorough and professional, explaining everything along the way. Hilltop is a first class operation and I can see it in the eyes of the many residents. A very clean and newly renovated place. Meals were good and a very accommodating atmosphere. This would be a great place for your parent or parents who are ready for independent living

This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in and was greeted by [name removed]I knew my mom was going to be in great hands. Studios are spacious, the looks well prepared. I'm so happy I found this facility after nearly 10 months of searching.

we were welcomed by several of the ladies and we look at a unit Very impressed with the apartment and the faclity. Loved the outdoor patio with cool breeze blowing through. Everyone was very nice, Visited with two residents and received some valuable information.

Happy residents. Great staff. Good food. Smells great. Felt residents are lovingly treated. Very homey feel. I would like to think that in my long in the tooth years that I will be lucky enough to reside somewhere just like Morningside.
