Staff has been very pleasant. The care has been great. [name removed] needs have been met and above. [name removed] is at the point that eating is difficult. She has been placed under Hospice Care since 5-29-26. She comfortable and no pain. The experience has been good for [name removed] my sister [name removed] and my self. Thank you.

The facility is bright and clean. The staff has been nothing but helpful since day 1. Very happy with them. I would recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

The grounds were well kept, serene and beautiful. The resident rooms were spacious and had many options. Every staff member that I met were vey friendly and seemed to be very kind and caring with the residents.

[name removed] who assisted with the tour answered all of our questions and gave helpful feedback and advice. She was professional and understanding and knowledgeable.

My mother has had a wonderful experience here, and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seem to care about the residents. One thing I especially appreciate is how attentive they are with medications. They make sure my mother receives her prescribed medications every morning and evening, and if she isn't in her room, they will find her elsewhere in the building. This is especially helpful because she often spends time with friends in the café after dinner. The meals are excellent, with three meals served daily, and my mother has made several close friends since moving in. There are also many activities included in the monthly cost. Residents can enjoy rickshaw rides, horse-related outings, trips to local attractions such as the quilt factory, and restaurant excursions once or twice a month using the facility's own bus. The amenities are impressive as well. Residents receive complimentary weekly nail care, and there is an on-site salon for haircuts and grooming. Pets are welcome, which adds to the homelike atmosphere. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful, and the general manager knows every resident by name. Because the community is smaller—about 60 residents in assisted living and 60 in memory care—it provides a more personal level of service and attention. Another feature I appreciate is the maintenance staff. They are willing to help with tasks such as assembling furniture or hanging pictures, which makes settling in much easier. Each room includes a refrigerator, although my mother rarely needs it because there is always plenty of food available at mealtimes. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this facility, and more importantly, my mother is happy there. Knowing she is well cared for, engaged, and surrounded by friends gives our family tremendous peace of mind.

I cannot get over how GENUINELY friendly, warm, and caring the staff is. The food is exceptionally good. There are specials for breakfast lunch and dinner every day along with an extensive and delicious menu one can always order from if the specials don't appeal. The residents at The Point are also quite friendly and do reach out to new people. They really seem to think of themselves as a community. Every unit has its own outside balcony, which is a nice feature. The weekly room cleaning and laundry service is excellent.

The director of sales [Name Removed] was great. She cares about helping you most. The facility looks great and the location is great also. There is a public park across the street and restaurants just one block away.

It's very open and sunny compared to other facilities. The staff is very helpful. They have a lot of activities.

Facility is renovated and very nice. Rooms are spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We didn't get enough information going in though. It would have been great if they had a welcome package that indicated who to contact for certain things as well as how to get things like repairs etc. accomplished. Procedures would have been nice. We have had to find things out piecemeal.

The staff has been incredibly responsive and helpful to all of my dad's needs. The front desk personnel are very friendly and welcoming. My dad says the food is good. I cannot speak to what the accommodations were prior to the renovations but the updates look great. He says there is lots to do but he is still getting settled in (only been living there one week) so he hasn't participated in many things. I think my dad will be very happy at DV.

The best about Paseo is the people. Everyone is so kind and accommodating. I would recommend to others.

3-Year Resident Review of Discovery Village at Des Plaines As a three-year resident, I am pleased to share a first-hand report on our community’s transition from Brookdale Des Plaines to Discovery Village at Des Plaines. We have recently undergone extensive, building-wide improvements. Discovery Village and its partners invested a significant amount of capital into enhancing the living conditions for our nearly 200 residents. The dramatic transformation includes a new roof, freshly painted walls in all public areas, new carpeting, updated lighting, modern furniture, and new artwork. While residents had to endure temporary dust, dirt, and construction workers, the final results are absolutely terrific. The updates are highly attractive, and the community is now beautifully clean and dust-free. Most importantly…….Discovery Village kept our excellent management structure in place. The exact same team that successfully managed this facility for my first three years continues to run it in

I had a nice tour and met some very nice residents. My tour guide was helpful and answered any and all of my questions. I was terribly impressed and wish that you were closer to Austin, My daughter insists I move closer to them. This facility is no closer than where I am now residing- darn it!

The community was very clean and organized and inviting. The staff members are wonderful and loving people, and I could see the love and dedication they have for caring for the elderly. Regardless of where you place your loved one, it is important to stay engaged with their care. Mom passed away [Date removed]of last year. Even though I did not want to place her anywhere, I am overall satisfied with TerraBella Fayetteville. No place is perfect, and I encounter some issues, but the staff worked with me to correct things.

Their easy to understand cost structure. Yes, I would recommend. [name removed] proved to be very helpful in guiding us through the process.

My father-in-law loved the condo like atmosphere. The other ALF's only offered a studio. Seaton had a one-bedroom, den, living room and a small kitchen. None of the other facilities offered this. The location is close to our home. The staff is amazing. They have dining rooms on each floor. They even have happy hour for the residents. The residents are treated with dignity and respect. It is like being at home for my father-in-law. Initially he was reluctant to go. He likes the food, his freedom and the staff.

The staff is always super helpful and quick to respond. The room is always clean. He has everything he needs and more. He complains about the activities but he's a grump anyway.
