So far this one looks good to us.

I have no complaints about the care my dad has been receiving from this company. All of the caregivers have been friendly and made sure to provide him with great quality of care. They are always on time to our appointment and professional in there work. I would recommend this home health company to anyone interested.

They are proactive with their care, but been through 3 caregivers before we found the right one.

They are set up to come to the community my mom lives in. She isn't real pleased with having people come in the first place. I know that she is demanding, and she doesn't like when they argue back with her, when she says they haven't done something and they tell her they did. The manager has been very helpful with that. I think overall they are doing a pretty good job.

They are not reachable in an emergency. They say they have no control over their scheduling or employees, that stuff happens. When you're in a situation where you're depending on someone and they don't show up, that's the last thing you want to hear. I wouldn't consider them very dependable. When they did show up, it was a real crap shoot. Some were good, and some you just couldn't believe the things they did, for instance falling asleep, eating all through the night and leaving food spills everywhere.

We tried two young ladies to help us with our 94 year old mom. The first was very energetic and nice but she had such a heavy accent mom could not understand her. The second came dressed terribly. Showed no respect for an elder from a generation that used to iron their clothes every day. We me moved on to another agency that has a dress code where people wear ID and look professional.

I used ComForCare for my Mom briefly. The service itself was fine. However, the caregiver fell asleep on two different occasions and then asked my mom if it was okay. During the time we used them, the caregiver was able to help us with getting my Mom’s meals ready. From what the owner had told us, we were under the impression that they would be doing more than just sitting around and watching TV. But that’s exactly what they did. They would rinse the dishes from breakfast, watch TV with my Mom, and then leave. The owner was a little strange at times, as well. During our first meeting, she talked a lot about her own illness and what her family went through, which made it difficult on me and my brother since everything was time sensitive. She was nice, but I think she needs to figure out how to go about meeting with families without overwhelming them with her own issues. At the end of the day, the caregiver was nice and arrived on time. It definitely helped me and my brother in being able to do the things we needed to do. They were able to take care of my Mom and that was all that mattered. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the same branch that I used, but I think ComForCare is a good company, depending on which franchise you go with.

Unfortunately my father kept sending the care givers away when they would arrive to help. So we did have to end services with this home care agency. However this is a very nice home care agency. The first care giver was pleasant, and did a good job with helping my parents, but the second one my father sent home. It really depends on your love one, and if they are accepting of the help. I would recommend this home care agency, it didn't work out well for us, but it is a nice agency.

We had a bit of trouble with the lady that we did use. She was not experienced at all for this type of work. I was kind of expecting something different. She was very nice and friendly, but she just did not know what was going on.

We now have someone that is helping with the in home care with my father. She is helping with meals and certain needs that my dad can not do on his own. We are still in the process of training for her to do the things that he does need help with. I am hoping to find this is going to be a good experience in time.

This wasn't that great of an experience. It really just became easier for my loved ones to learn the care they needed for themselves. They weren't very helpful with the other things like going to the store or that either.

My loved one is on her third worker now from ComForcare Home Care, so I do not think that is a good thing. We just seem to be having a problem with the workers coming over and cleaning up every day.

We were not overly impressed. The person they sent out wasn't really helpful at all. We would ask her to do something, and she would just say oh I don't do that, I only do this. The people at the office seemed nice and helpful. We didn't get the chance to give them another chance, so it's not fair to really rate them down. We were pretty frustrated though, that the person we got was such a dud. However I get the feeling it really might have been just that particular person.

In process of reviewing their information. Like that they have CNAs with dementia training.

We tried the daycare facility but Mom was the only patient so she was too lonely and Dad didn't feel good about leaving her. The facility has since closed its operation.

Spoke with director, This is a private duty home care--they can provide socializing, prompting, and safety supervision.

Very supportive helpful. Gave me names of day care centers. His office is in Glen Lake area in a bank bldg.

Our families experience was not good at all, people were not showing up and it just seemed like no one could take responsibility or have organization so our family ended up dropping this home care service

Sounded like they offered most everything we were looking for but were not able to assist with movement up and down the stairs. This was a primary need and we were disappointed they couldn't provide assistance with this task.

We had the same care giver for a year. She was very good and met all needs. She was able to take person on outings which was very important to family. Problem if caregiver wasn't available. Relief was questionable and didn't always be appear. There was no notification to family of problem. Later as health declined found out caregiver was using stolen credit card for personal use. Would absolutely not recommend this agency for unsupervised personal care. Secure all valuable and credit cards.
