The Director was very freindly and sells the property very well... Residence seem happy staff is friendly.. Rooms are next to each other with a door in between. gives large living space. each room has a balcony. Property and rooms seems so dark and older.. especially seeing sunrise at edmonds and brighton court. Not as expensive as sunrise edmonds. Saw alot of happy residents. NIce enclosed back yard. I feel mom could not get out without someone knowing. I feel like they would be taken care of.

Very pretty but many places were being fixed. One resident was asking for help and complained it had been awhile. It has the structure to work but I didn't feel the residents were really valued and the staff didn't feel a conection to the residents.

We liked it as much as the other place but there seemed fewer residents in wheelchairs or walkers. This place has tubs available in its one bedrooms. She just liked the feel of it. They also have a nurse on staff to take care of any medical needs on an as you need it basis. They could take her to any of her singing venues again on an as needed basis.

This was my first place to visit and I saw many flaws. The front door is almost too heavy for me to open - how do residents handle it? I had a hard time relating to the manager, they felt a bit nervous and false.

I really liked these folks, but they got a low rating from someone who had been there.

Not as stimulating an environment as others - few communcal spaces - staff seems involved, however.

Thought activities were not as good as some or as "warm" of a place. However, it has kitchen options within rooms.

Nice, very large yard... he would love the yard. private rooms with a bathroom. can decorate the room like you want. memory lane neighborhoods. four in all. several tv relax rooms. Residents are fairly functionable, and dress nice, as if they are well taken care of. Lots of nice men and women for him to visit with.

spoke w/ the director- has a studio, we can come anytime, no deposit. $3300 month + extras.

They won't accept my loved one due to dementia, they need to refund the $2000 deposit, have not recieved it to date.

In the scheme of things, it really depends on the level of care needed for your loved one. There are some great things, and some horrible things. Facilities-wise it's absolutely top notch and top of the line. As far as the staff who are top of the food chain, it's very good. But when you get into the weeds - the people who are taking care of the elderly - it's horrendous. I understand we're in a time right now where service is nonexistent nationwide. But even so, if the right systems are in place, things don't fall between the cracks. Those systems aren't in place here. I think they're trying, but they're just understaffed and can't keep staff. The quality of the food is phenomenal, but the selection is horrendous. They keep revolving the same meals - lots of corned beef, meatloaf, and pastas. The activities manager just left, and even before that, the residents didn't really participate. But the staff weren't making an effort to go get people and encourage them to participate. There's a brand new activities director, so we'll see how that goes. The facility is beautiful and worth some of the frustrations. The hallways are double/triple the size of other places I toured. It's a very large, airy, spacious place. They just have ongoing staffing issues. I give them credit for admitting that they do see the problems, and they are trying to fix them.

It did not turn out to be what we expected. I felt it was not very clean. She had roaches in her room and they did not handle the situation well at all. They have a new executive director that started around the same time my mom moved in. I have heard from a lot of people that the food has gone downhill. I would not recommend them to others based on our experience.

When I moved in the managers were here 24/7. That has changed for the worst! That was why i moved in. My apartment was cleaned every Thursday morning. I'm lucky if its cleaned at all! To much rice and pasta! Meals are slow, the problem is in the kitchen doesn't have enough help. When I moved in I felt it was like a cruise ship without the water. Boy, as it gone downhill fast!

Harvard park is wonderful for everything but the food choices. If I lived there I would either move out or get take out at least 3 times a week. They had a great menu until Covid happened, then the choices were cut WAY back, and many “meals” I wouldn’t feed to my dog, like corn dogs and sausage. There needs to be healthy tasty choices with each meal. Breakfast rarely even has eggs or other healthy protein. My beloved aunt is so frustrated and I don’t blame her.
