Decided too far out. It would be too far too get to our family. We want to be close to them. Not 20 plus minutes away. Lovely place. No tour though.

This is a nice community. The staff was nice and helpful. They had alot of activities to choose from. My dad was not there long enough, but I would recommend this community.

I was not comfortable during my tour of this community, I felt like it was more of sales pitch more than useful information of the community. I was very intimidated with the staff and did not like the feeling they gave my loved one and I.

It has been an okay experience for me here so far with this community. It is still early in the process, but so far everything is well. It is an excellent looking community. They do a very good job with the cleaning. The staff is pleasant, they are kind. They have many activities offered for the residents. The meals could use some improvements. Overall this is a good community. So far I'am satisfied.

My mom is not happy here. I am not thrilled about calling 3 to 4 times and the Nurse Director is unable to call me back. This makes me uneasy. I also do not feel comfortable with the doctor here, he has not shown up twice when he is suppose to. However, the apartment is lovely.

Very large community & residents are quite old. Nice menu & large apts or villas. Washer and dryer. Rent security necklace, not provided. Newly refurnished.

I was impressed with Brookdale Rohnert Park . But now not so much now . Needed maintainence for quite some time and still haven't had service still that was requested three weeks ago . Also my mom's caregiver was kicked out last week due to saving a guys life . Yes a worker fell while painting and my moms caregiver took picture with her phone and called 911 . For the reason alone and taking the picture she got banned from the building , [Removed] at brookdale the exec director says that hired hands won't let her here but Hired hands says its brookdale's decision . This was very disconcerning to my mom and I . Oh and leaving keys accessible at front desk to apartments . Not good . Hope these things can be addressed . Otherwise brookdale is okay .

it is very disconcerting for us because this community has been going through a lot of turn overs with the manager, the chef, and activities director. Hopefully they get past the transition and improve. Otherwise, I think everything is going okay. The location is in a good area. The food has suffered since the changes. I like the help and availability from A Place For Mom when we needed a community.

I am not happy with this facility. I came here for a trail period of 90 days and informed them that I was planning on leaving and they increased my monthly amount of charges. There is always a high turn over on the staff members. The menu offers food that you can not get. I do not feel like the staff gives the care that I am needing at this time. I would not recommend this community for others.

I did an after hours tour. The facility was nice and had many amenities but was just not as warm or lively as some other places that were similar. The price was very high for similar services being offered elsewhere that were much more affordable.

Mom has been her for a couple of years. She is happy here, but I'm disappointed. The care they say they give is different than the care that is actually given. Mom's room is supposed to be cleaned weekly, bed made daily. It's hit or miss. The bathroom is supposed to be checked and cleaned, if needed, every shift—three times per day. It might happen once per day. Things are always missing from her room, even if they consider it trash, she or I should be informed that it's taken. They have quarterly service reviews, but rarely anything I say in those reviews is acted upon. The food—well, it's been ok, but on my last visit it was terrible. It's very inconsistent. Most of the food is bland, but then some is way too salty, vegetables are mushy and overcooked, chicken was very dry. The menu has two options, but only offers one dessert. Though, desserts seem to be good. The activities used to be great, but now they are so-so. Mom plays more bingo than does anything else. I'm sad, because I wanted this to be her final home, but it looks like I'll be looking elsewhere.

The main facility was clean and welcoming - loved the layout of the appartment and the fitness center. Some unique options that I really liked. The memory unit, however, was much more like classic nursing home - dimly lit, and in need of upgrade.

It has only been two weeks since my parents moved into Clearwater Springs. Overall, this transition has been a positive experience but there is a 'learning curve' for both sides. The most concerning issue has been medication management. My parents are diabetics and are still NOT having their blood sugar levels monitored! I had to go to the medication room & specifically ask if this monitoring was being done.... I receiving the explanation that there is not "an order in place" from my parents doctors for that!! With a further inference that 'our specific medical care provider ( well known) is just so "...difficult' to communicate with and get orders from...". Honestly, I am floored! Further, we were never contacted or advised that there was a disconnect in implementing our parents care plan. We choose to include medication management in my parents care plan to free my Mother from this task while she recovers .... When meds are passed ( especially w new clients/patients) there is not any sort of overview with the patient as to what they are taking, My parents 'go along' not wishing to cause 'extra work' but wonder where their medicine 'x' is? Now we have learned to ask : "Do you have an order for medicine "x"? Yes? Great, it's just a prn medication ( one must ask to receive the medicine) .... Or - No? No order exists for a particular medicine or service -OK, why not!!? In our case, with something so crucial to ones health NOT being in place for two weeks, after moving in - well it's just unacceptable!

Wonderful welcoming feeling. Building needs painting but they are in the process of renovating.

The staff seemed very friendly. The furniture fabric in the lobby is old and frayed in some spots. The dining area was nice and did not have a greasy smell. Overall the place seemed acceptable. The common areas on the different floors are quite nice as well as the outdoor area and it’s nice that the apt. Kitchenette has a single cooktop. The one bedroom is a good size to my mom. The one drawback I see is the frig low to the ground with the freezer on top and the refrigerator on bottom.

I had helped a good friend move into Longmont, but it didn't work out for her. She needed more care and assistance than they could accommodate. She has now moved in with her daughter for the care. The knowledge of the staff was not always the greatest. And when she accidentally locked herself out of the bathroom, they had to take the door off the hinges to get it open. They didn't keep the snow cleared and I slipped. The outside of her door was icy. They did have good activities but not for her. I would recommend this community to those who are better off and function better on their own. The community is super friendly.

Big place, kinda expensive, friendly staff

Beautiful grounds and nice apartments BUT the independent living apartments are separate stand alone buildings and one must walk outdoors across the property to the dining room/rec center. There are no Independent living apartments in the main building.

The activities are great! They have a lot to offer. So far everything is going smoothly.

The reason property is 3 is because it is a dated facility.
