[Name removed] did not like this place, primarily because she thought the distances from the casitas to the main area where the dining room is and all other activities are was too far and having to go outside to get there would be too hot during the intensely hot summer in AZ.The dining room with no outside view was less attractive. Food here was also uninspiring, but about the same as at Thunderbird. What is the fascination with iceberg lettuce?

The staff appeared friendly. Community seemed older, but improvements were being made. Liked that it had a pool. Also had a slight smell to it. Liked that the residents were planning a fundraiser for a charity.

It was a beautiful facility but beyond my price range

nice facility, rooms, not my type of environment.Remind me more of assisted living than independent living based on my observation in the lobby although they have access to the whole bldg. as well. I am not ready for assisted living yet! Wasn't too impressed with that. Also too costly and the the other facilities I toured was much better kept, rooms bigger and brighter, inviting . I think I will stick with Parkview, which one I don't know yet

Very nice place. We didn’t like the art decor. The apartments are a nice size with nice appliances. It’s a possibility but not our first choice.

Felt like it was over priced for what we are looking for in a Memory Care facility. No Altec. Liked the overhead lights and fans in the rooms. Showers in each unit. Liked the seating for outdoor entertainment.

Large complex. Garages removed from living quarters. Carpets were not clean and entry not inviting. It did not feel warm and welcoming. Will not go back.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful.. Food and service was good. Apartments were too small for our liking.

The person we were scheduled to meet with at 11:30 was not available when we arrived. Someone from skilled nursing gave us a tour and while she was very nice, she was not able to answer a lot of our questions. We were told that the sales person would call us that afternoon to follow up, but we have not heard back. Nice facility, though a little dated.

I thought this facility was just average. The rent includes things like the AC/heating, housekeeping, three meals a day, and laundry services. They had things like a lot of activities, exercise classes, and transportation around town. The one thing I didn’t like is the apartments was that they had very strange floor plans and I would not have been able to figure out how to arrange my rooms but they did have balconies and decks. I would recommend this community

I toured Brookdale on behalf of my mother, and I thought that the community was nice, but it was a little dirty. They were in the middle of a renovation at the time, so that might be why, but it just didn’t give the best impression. I ultimately chose a different community for my mother’s care.

Terribly unorganized. New caregivers and table waiter do not get very good training to the job ([Removed]) – falling an older employee for 1 or 2 shifts does really not do a good job of training. I pray the new owner will do a better job along these liners. The grapevine informed the new owner/management take over December 1 at 2017.

My father-in-law was looking for a place to live and this is one of the communities that was on our list to tour. My brother-in-law wound up touring and said that the place did not smell good and did not seem clean at all. We went with another community ultimately.

This is a smaller facility with limited access to outside. Friendly staff, nice rooms. Limited meal times.

My father has recently made the move into this community and so far things are going okay for him. I will say that overall we are happy with this facility and think they are decent job with my dad but there is defiantly room for improvement. The staff seem to be sitting in the living room a lot of the time and I would like to seem them walking around and checking on the residents more often. I also am frustrated that they seem to keep loosing my dads laundry. I am hoping they can start to get more organized in that department.

The staff here did a nice job with our tour, they took their time showing us around and answering our questions. We just did not feel as comfortable here and we felt that this would not be the best fit for our dad.

This community seemed to offer a lot of nice activities when we visited. The people we met were helpful. The community looked clean.

I liked this community when I visited. The staff I met were friendly. They allow pets and they seem to offer a few nice activities.

I had a very nice tour and the staff did a great job answering all my questions, there were some things that needed to be updated and I felt that the location would not be the best for me. Plus there was no parking available for my car so I would have to be constantly moving it around.

It's a nice, small community. The facility itself is a little dark, but the apartments are nice.
