Cogir Senior Living

From the very start of the process of finding my dad housing in an area where there is support the staff and teams were helpful and supportive of his reluctance to move. He is now reasonably moved in and most of the staff calls him by name. Thank you for making this easy so for us. Now he just needs to start signing up for activities and rides.

Staff are super friendly and very patient with the residents. The activities are numerous and inviting to all. The food is really good. It's like being at a 5 star resort!

All the staff are incredible. Its a great location. The food is wonderful. My Mom loves it there, she is very happy with her 1 bdrm apt. It's lovely, and has every ammenity she needs. There is so much to do, my Mom doesn't even know where to begin. Wait for it... their is also someone that helps with that too. I'm jealous I want to move in with her! Lol. I think my notion of an "old folks home" was antique. It's been wonderful to be part of a place that brings out the best in people. You can do the exercise class but you don't have to. People can be themselves here. I feel enlightened by living here. I'm very glad I came here.

I was asked to write a review for Cogir at The Narrows, and I’m happy to do so! The rating was on a scale of 1-5, I wish it were higher and rate 5++++ Our experience at Cogir has been absolutely wonderful! The staff—especially [name removed]—are incredibly kind, compassionate, and truly invested in the well-being of every resident. They meet each resident where they are, caring for both their emotional and physical needs. Knowing my brother is in an environment where he is well cared for, safe, happy, and healthy is something my family and I are grateful for every day. Thank you, [name removed], and everyone at Cogir—you are truly a gift!

So far, the staff have been extremely helpful, empathetic and kind. I'm VERY impressed with their tender care they display that seems genuine

My Dad now lives there and loves it. He's been there a couple months. The staff is 100% focused on making the residents happy and are all super-friendly and accommodating. It's new, beautiful, the staff is great, and they focus 100% on meeting the needs and the desires of their residents.

We have been here three weeks and have by welcomed by all. They worked overtime to get us settled and allowed us to use the guest suite until our items came in a Upack cube. Everyone has been very accepting and invited is to lunch and activities. When you compare the cost of owning a home with insurance, upkeep, utilities, etc. the value of this place is just as good if not better than owning a home and I’m not tied to a 30 year mortgage!

The friendliness, since of family. My mother is so happy there! We absolutely love the place.

I just recently toured this community for my mother-in-law. What a beautiful place! The residents were warm and welcoming, and willing to tell me why they like it here. Then, I saw the enormous rooms and 1 bedroom apartment. But pretty amazing was the roof top, views, and atmosphere was incredible. Can't wait to see what they do with the lobby. [name removed] was a great host and very thoughtful with explaining all the ins and outs, which is very helpful for someone just starting to search.

Everyone is friendly and kind. Staff and residents. Very welcoming place. Food is awesome. Activities and varied and well scheduled. We have no complaints. Perfect place for our parents to have their social life back and everyone is secure in their care.

1. (The residents are happy and as active as can be) 2. (the place is immaculate. Clean without smelling like cleaning product 3. (I'd rank it higher if possible!) The staff are extremely caring, from the front desk to the restaurant, they know every resident by name and greet them normally every time 4. Excellent care from caring people. As far as the staff at the front desk, could not ask for better! Personable, friendly and professional at all times. They have made me feel assured as my Mom has gone through her changes, letting me know that this is the best place for her to be and under great care. 5. Due to the executive director leaving without a replacement. (More below) 6. Mom raves about the food and, from overhearing another resident when we first checked out Cadence, the food quality is one reason he moved from another residence to Cadence. The portions are right for each appetite and the restaurant staff all know each resident's likes and dislikes. 7. There's a schedule every hour of every day between 9:00 and 6:00 that residents can choose to go to or not. I do wish there were more activities between memory care and assisted living as that would be more appropriate for my Mom. (The former executive was the one who suggested that my Mom could use the time between the two units. Without a current director, that is not happening.) 8. and another that I'd rate higher if I could! I looked into 12 properties before selecting Cadence. The best monthly rent was the first win but it's the cumulation of all the wonderful staff and their real service to Mom and the other residents that let me fee assured that this is the best place for her to be. You may certainly post the comments! My whole experience with A Place For Mom has been lovely, as well. I don't know what to title it so feel free to add something glowing! About the staff: within days of Mom moving in, every staff member knew her and her dog, [name removed], by name which made an anxious two of us (me and Mama) feel comfortable. As Mom has needed more care as her memory has slipped, they have all stepped up to the plate to assist her and me. I get calls or text updates when things aren't going so well, and when they are, and an update right away whenever I sign in to visit. As hard as it is to watch my mother's memory fade more and more, living at Cadence gives me peace of mind.

Everything is good. Their activities are excellent. The director is very thorough. Their food is really good. I can't say more about it. I have not had any problems at all. She's also referred two of her friends there and got two months free rent.

Cascadia village made my transfer so smooth. The staff is so kind and the care I receive is top tier.

Harvard Square is a friendly place to live. There are a lot of activities that you can get involved with. The staff is caring and wonderful. If you need help the staff, caregivers, activities personnel, 24 hr concierge and dining room staff. Again the staff is fantastic.

The staff went above and beyond to make this a seamless transition from England to California. They all were extremely helpful and friendly. They always greet us by our name whenever we come to visit [name removed] and they seem to really care about not only the residents, but their families as well. I have nothing but great things to say about this place and I'm so grateful she is there.

I have been a resident here for 2 1/2 years and have been very happy here. I had lived in two other facilities and while I was not unhappy in either one but Harvard Square is way better in food staff abilities, and friendliness activities, facility etc.,

Great place to age in place & great staff. Would recommend to anyone, apartments are beautiful. Sales director [name removed] is the best! [name removed] their receptionist is very friendly and greeted me with some pastries and coffee.

A few things that stood out most - the employees are great. It is affordable, renovated and the location.
