The staff is kind and attentive. I am a vegan and the have made every accommodation to give me a healthy and varied. Cogir is a wonderful place. The food is excellent. Activities are very good.

Solista has been able to help us smoothly move in my husband's grandmother who has Alzheimer's. She has been making friends and loves the food there too. The staff work really hard to provide activities that everyone would enjoy and they also have clubs for every interest. The staff truly care and work hard to make everyone feel a part of the community. She has also started physical therapy, which their office is located in the apartment building so she has access to them 5 days a week. They also have on-site 24/7 home care services, so as she needs more help in the future, we're able to set it up immediately.

Great food, activities, cleanliness and staff. Plus, affordable!! I would recommend to others and have. Nothing else to add at this time.

Solista is a beautiful facility with so many things to offer. They have rooms to suit each individual’s needs. It is easy to make friends as the residents are very welcoming . Physical therapy is available to those who need it. The activity room is usually filled with residents to do crafts ,play games and some days they go shopping on the bus. Having an on site beauty shop is very convenient You can be pampered and not even need to leave the facility . The staff all work hard to meet your needs with friendly, respectful attitudes. If you are considering moving into an independent living community I would highly recommend your taking a tour and seeing it for yourself.

Solista is a completely wonderful over 55 apartment experience. All inclusive, very organized, many activities and a perfect place to live and make friends! I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for an apartment home

About fie months ago at age ninety three I came to Cogir poor physical and mental condition. With the help of your great staff. I have gained about ten pounds and much improved my physical strength and general happiness.

The staff is always friendly. They have activities everyday. I would recommend this community to others who are searching for a place.

I would recommend it to others. For the price, I feel like they provide a lot of value. My mother says the food is fabulous. Options are offered to eat inside the dining room or in her apartment (for a small fee). Weekly housekeeping and transportation are provided as well. She's made a few friends there as well and she's happy overall.

As soon as I signed up A Place for Mom, I got a call from Solista in Orem. They met with us right away and got my father-in-law placed in their home. The staff has been super, and the food is great. It's a very nice facility and we are very pleased.

There is a safety feature here when we get up in the morning press the button, and that tells the main Office we are OK for those of us who are alone. This is a godsend and quite a blessing. Also free to eat wheels wherever we watch if we want to eat in our home or apartment we Can do that. The bus has a lift and so does the shuttle

They have done a great job keeping the residents busy and safe. It is a clean and friendly community. I couldn't ask for more.

Cleanliness of the facility - mostly a 5, a few times in the beginning my moms room wasn't being cleaned and the hired a new maintenance/house keeping. Then it was cleaned regularly. everyone truly cared about my mom. When my mom was dying, they took care of me as well. enrichment was interrupted a lot when people left for other opportunities.

What we like the most about the community is the staff and yes we would recommend the community to other families.

Cogir is the best value around the beltway. There is a caring staff, great food, daily exercise programs, weekly field trip trips, eight conversational areas that add living space to your apartment for guest and friends. As stated I have lived in several places in this area and done lots of research and I am very pleased with my selection of Cogir of West and Alexandria. Staff is very helpful and the dining experience is wonderful. They gave special event as that are lots of fun, with good food. My friends who visit me regularly are very impressed with this community. I would highly recommend anyone to consider this community.

It's a great place to live. Yes, would recommend to others. A great place to live and with three meals a day of great food. Lots of nice people and a great staff to take care of us.

They are very good at calling me if one of falls or there is an issue. There are not as many activities as other places offer, but in our case that was not an issue. They have the largest rooms size that I could find for AL which was extremely important to us and the #1 reason we went there. They were very accommodating and helpful when my aunt checked herself out 1 week after moving in and they assigned their room to a someone else. We ended having to move rooms but they did make it possible for them to get another 2 bedroom when none were available. When their car got broken into the Director gave up her garage space so they could rent that space. The kitchen has been under remodel for most of the year they have been there, but they have made accommodations and the kitchen is now open again. The med techs seem to be friendly when I have been there. Overall I am pleased with the community.

My mom is happy and content. Getting great care. I would highly recommend.

I'm here with my mother to look after her. She likes to have family around to feel at home. I'm a man so there are some things a can't do for her. Such as bathing and those other female things. But ever time she needs those services the caregivers are there and ready. Especially [name removed] who seems to always know what needs to be done.
