I had a great tour of this community and the staff was very kind and gave my mother and I lots of great information as well as answered any questions we may had for them. Everything seemed to be fine however there was an overwhelming odor throughout the building that really was unpleasant for us. I just did not think this was the right fit for my mother.

I have not seen anything that I really do not like at this community. I really like how involved the staff are in the residents care. They make sure to keep my mother throughout the day with different activities and events as well as always keeping a close eye on her to make sure she is doing okay. The cleanliness of the facility is pristine , it always has a fresh smell in the building which is rare since we do not have many. I would recommend this place to anyone looking into an assisted living.

The family is able to dine with the resident for free for the first thirty days and I think the food is good. The staff are super friendly and they encourage the residents to participate in the numerous activities offered. They keep the community clean. The rooms are nice and the community is larger than it seems from the outside. They do only have one elevator in the building. This is one of the most reasonably priced communities in the area.

The staff at this community are more than pleasant. The place is very nice, the only thing I could complain about is sometimes when she goes down for dinner, she's forced to sit at a dirty table, which seems like a health issue. Every time I go and speak to them about it, they just have a bunch of excuses. The food choices, although it's all day dining, are not so good. The good food choices, like beef, is very hard and hard for the older people to chew. Other than that, the cleanliness for the rest of the community is great, they offer a variety of activities for her to make new friends and get to know the residents.

This community was a long ways away from us, but we loved the community. The staff was great and they showed us around. The residents were out and looked happy. We just decided not to have mom and dad so far from us.

Some of the nicest people we met were at Vineyard Place. We were not all that impressed by the food but everyone seemed happy there.

So far everything is working out pretty well for my mother since her move to this community. She is doing well, and I'am satisfied. They have a friendly staff, and they have also been helpful and attentive. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the community, everything is well maintained. So far it has been good experience for us at this community.

I toured the community alone and first. I thought they were very good at showing me the place and very thorough with me. It is a beautiful, clean community and they have a good program for the residents. We are unsure if we will pick this community.

My mother is doing very well since her move here. There was a bit of an issue at first, the staff waited a few weeks before telling my mother where the laundry room was and how to sign up for a shuttle. Also, they didn't tell her who her ambassador was for a few weeks. Other than that, the community has been great. They serve meals 3 times a day, the meals are delicious. The place is always kept very clean and they provide housekeeping once a week. They have a variety of activities, as soon as she gets more comfortable I will push her to try them out. I have already recommended this place and will continue to do so.

I would tell people this is a great place but the cost is a little high. The food is great and they offer good healthy choices. They have daily activities. The community is well taken care of. The staff are really good except for the maintenance person as they do not seem very friendly.

My husband is doing good and the staff are amazing and friendly. They go out of their way to call him by his name and talk with him even thought he won't remember. I have seen them braid the residents hair and talk with the residents, regardless is they respond, they give them interaction. i have been there when he gets his meal and it looks appetizing. My husband is not able to participate in activities but I have seen art projects. As far as what they offer, I do not see that it is majorly different than other places.

Our tour of this community was a good one. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything went very well, and we were pleased with our tour. The community looked nice and well-kept. The tour guide was a very kind and informative.

They were friendly and kind. They were informative and answered my questions. It was a nice experience, but my mother needed more care than they were able to provide.

We just knew that this place was not right. When we walked in we felt that the population was to elderly for us. It seemed like the people were just not a good fit. They needed more assistance than we did. That is why we did choose somewhere else.

Lots of activities, great gym, and pool? Not too sure about the food. I am wanting unprocessed Great activities, gym and pool. Not to sure about the food. I prefer unprocessed, grilled , baked protein options not fried. Several add-on expenses.washer/dryer, meals, parking, housekeeping..also feel the size of rooms of the ne bedroom are too small for us. And quite a wait for a 2 bedroom. Are feeling like the Highgate Villa with attached garage is more for s. All housekeeping, meals, parking, laundry and amazing meals included. More of a homey feel. Glee wood has lots of pluses.z

My mom lives here and loves everything except the food. The food is bland. The staff and residents are friendly and helpful.

Older looking property and residents did not seem as welcoming as Durham Regent. Units more expensive and comparable studio to Durham Regent cost more. Emerald Pond base model studio very small. Pretty much same amenities.

My parents have really felt safe and comfortable in there new living environment. My mother says nothing but great things about the staff and has really built a trust with them. My favorite thing about this complex is they offered double wide bedrooms that where affordable and spacious for my loved ones. My only complaint is that I wish the housekeeping would come in to clean more than once a week

The staff have done an amazing job at helping my love one adjust and become comfortable in his new living environment. The dinning room is spacious and my dad seems to be enjoying the meals they serve throughout the day. They have a great activity program and the company of the residents is lovely.

My friend is getting great care here. The staff is wonderful and careing. The meals that are offered are excellent. They are offering her activitites, but she is not participating at this time. I would recommend it to others for good care.
