Stringent rules keep all residents safe. Slowly let a few people at a time do activities.

I like to say that Bay Pointe is a wonderful place for assisted living residents as long as they are mobile but if they are not and need a higher level assistance this would not be a good fit for them. The caregivers are friendly and kind but when the resident's care needs change and increase, they are not patient at all. The staff are not equipped, skilled, or trained to physically assist people who can't ambulate for themselves. There were times the staff left my mom sitting on toilet alone for 45 minutes. They guaranteed they would provide a two person assist but they did not a lot of time. They are extremely understaffed and under-skilled for they what they promise.

Very friendly employees. Food is good. Fun activities.

Salesperson very professional. Active community with activities, food, has been good. Some management changes which is positive. Maintenance tech takes good care of everyone. Activity Director is creative.

My husband was here from July 2019 to April 2020 and we had excellent care in the evenings. It was ok during the day too, we just didn't get as personal with them. I liked the care a lot and I was there a lot so I really felt like I knew the staff. The community was kept clean. Most of the staff were great. They were very good with incontinence care. They didn't have enough staff to take my husband to the activities or entertainment when I wasn't there. The community is expensive, but compared to other places in the area, it was a good value.

Employees are always good about watching out for mess and tending to it quickly. Staff is always helpful and respectful. They always air on the formal side, which is not necessary but appreciated! The community is expensive, however that price is reflected in the great staff and well-kept community. Activities have been great, however with the ongoing pandemic, many of the activities have been put on hold.

The staff are very helpful and the general manager has made things go smoothly. They offer many activities, but the biggest thing for my mom is going to meals and talking with her friends. She has a nice one bedroom apartment with her own kitchen which she likes and it is easily accessible to the elevator. It is in a great location and we are able to visit anytime. They offer three meals a day when other places only offer two. It is a safe environment and I don't have to worry about her safety and well being with her there and that plays at important role for me. Also, my mom feels safe and isn't lonely anymore.

Very nice and [name removed] was very helpful. Not sure I am ready for this yet and concerned about taking my dog with me. I forgot to check out where I would take her out. My bad!

Nice place, but prices listed at A Place for Mom are incorrect by thousands. I would not have visited if I knew the real prices (I think that the place just changed hands and the prices have not been updated?). We spoke with the Sales & Marketing Director who was very salesman-like, it was like he was selling cars and he was quite rude to a resident when she asked him a question during our tour. Otherwise, the place is clean, residents looked happy and healthy, it has a very small population so felt more home-like, but price was very high compared to other places.

Nice compact facility serving 53 residents. Noticed people engaged in activities and a good number of men among the resident population. Studios are a bit too small, but the 1 bedroom would work well. Rooms were clean and showers did not have a big lip to step over. Nice views and I liked the multiple spaces for activities. Staff was very friendly. Met with the Dir of Nursing who was very honest about how she would handle wound care. This would be a good option for dad.

My sister is not the easiest person to work with but The Bellingham staff is great with her. They know the littlest details, for example, she doesn't like hot or cold drinks - she wants them tepid. The staff makes sure she gets her drinks, whether it is at a meal or just a request just like she likes them.

THE ATRIUM WAS A VERY NICE PLACE, BUT THE AVG. AGE WAS 82-EARLY 90'S. THEY ARE GOING TO START REMODELING EARLY NEXT YEAR. I ASKED HOW THAT WOULD EFFECT THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE AND THEY ARE NOT SURE YET. MARTY BURKE WAS VERY NICE AND PLEASANT TO TALK WITH, TOOK ME ON A NICE TOUR ANSWERED MY QUESTION AND SEEM TO BE VERY HONEST IN HIS ANSWERS. IT COULD BE A FIT FOR ME.I'M NOT SURE ABOUT HOW FAR AWAY FROM MY FAMILY.I MUST THINK ABOUT THAT MORE BECAUSE I'M VERY CLOSE TO MY FAMILY. THANK YOU ALL

Beautiful patios, tons of storage. Far from us though.

Very friendly community. Clean inside and out. Beautiful dining room and decorations. Very affordable compared to others. Everyone we talked with loved living there.

Wonderful staff, lovely building. Some trouble keeping aids (which is very important).

This is a good place for me at this stage in my life! I have meals, usually good, and a safe environment to live in. Also, some activities that I enjoy and find good friends that I can spend time with. Also, helpful and kind workers here!

I love my studio. [Names removed] are great. Wait staff and room service persons friendly and helpful. The food has improved.

While I greatly appreciate the friendliness of the staff I was disappointed that the $3,000 resident deposit was not waved as originally promised. That being said I do appreciate the redesigned shower and new flooring that was put into my unit, and the kitchen where I can do my own cooking. I also appreciate the fact that I was allowed to keep my old large dog and two old cats in a unit with its own fenced patio and outside door. Overall The Garden Club is a great place to live. I did have to wait two months to receive my 911 beeper, and the dog walking Beam services are expensive at $10.00 per day for a five to ten minute walk. Oh well, the dog needs the walk siince I am physically unable to do it, and Jose is punctual five days a week. The dog loves him. [Name removed]
