Ocean Ridge Retirement facility is a friendly place. Our experience here has been good. However, the food could be better. The friendliness, staff, and activities are all great. Cleanliness, care services, and cost are good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I toured Holiday Sunridge and it was a good tour. The facility itself was okay. The cleanliness was good. The friendliness and staff was good, also. However, it was a little bit out of my price range.

Staff were very caring but wasn't able to get any cleaning staff hired. So we had to do all the cleaning ourselves mostly. My dad loved all the activities and outings they provided and he felt loved being there. By far the best place he was at, out of the three different homes he was at.

Our loved one does bell choir, goes to church, has done astronomy nights, lots of family events, but my favorite thing is their live music and pub night they bring in great singers

I think it's ok for moderate to severe Alzheimer's/dementia but not a place for beginning stages. Place is really nice but need to spend money on residents than new accessories!! I wish I would have checked out places that take in consideration of stages of dementia/ Alzheimer's.... so when interviewing people looking that would be helpful as I know there are some places that have different areas for different stages.

Everything is fine, I would recommend you stay on top of any of the services the community is supposed to be taking care for your loved one. Some of the care they are able to provide is: medication management and bathing assistance. It would be nice to have the caregivers peek in and make sure if my loved one needs assistance with dressing, or escorting my loved one to the dining room, like they are supposed to be doing. The staff communication with the family is good. I have always been able to get a hold of staff. It would be nice to know when therapy is able to to see my loved one, so I can call with any questions. The community is clean and the food is excellent.

Atrium Village was too commercial and didn't seem like "home", and we witnessed the bingo instructor yelling at a resident when we were there for our tour.

Overall, this is a great facility. It's well kept and put together, inside and out. All of the staff are friendly and approachable, they really seem like they care. The atmosphere is fabulous. Housekeeping is provided often and things are always clean and tidy every time I visit. All of my family members that have visited my loved one here have commented on how nice the facility is also. The move in process/paperwork was a bit stressful. I wasn't given all of the paperwork at once and had to make several trips to the facility during the process. I think a lot of the staff were new at that point, and it was also a new thing for me, so there was a bit of a learning curve but we got it all worked out. Communication with the family is good, they definitely call if they need anything. Overall, it's a great clean facility and everyone here is friendly. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our family had an in person tour and it was an extremely nice tour experience, the community is very luxurious but incredible expensive which is the reason we were not able to have our loved one move there.

My dad has lived here almost 2 years. The staff is both friendly and helpful. He has made several friends here. Whenever he has an issue, the staff is quick to respond.

Our experience has been pretty good for the most part. They do housekeeping and have kept moms room pretty clean. Especially as she has incontinence. It never smells in the area. Yes I would recommend them. My mom is a hard resident as she can be challenging at times, but they have always been kind and communicate with us constantly.

Some things we think Cogir at The Quarry could improve on is that a few of the things that they told us when we signed up we're not true. I don't think they were lying but I think that the communication with their staff is lacking.

It's pretty clean. The people are friendly. We picked this community, becasue the food was good, and it was convient. It would be nice if the staff was more responsive. The billing process/accuracy of charges needs to improve.

This has been an excellent experience for us. The caregivers are very attentive to the resident's needs. They are compassionate as well. There are a lot of activities for the residents to participate in, no matter the resident's activity level. The food has been excellent. There are three meals a day served, and there are a couple of choices to choose from. There is always hydration and snacks available. The individual apartments available are the nicest I have seen. It is very light, bright, and modern.

Excellent activities an food choices for all meals. A lot of activities and bussing take trips and to appointments. The staff monitors well-being and makes sure that all meds and exercises are done along with the client's needs and reported to the desk, the caregiver, and to the agency and those assisting with payments.

The activities director is amazing. She goes out of her way to visit with and invite my dad to activities. The community relations people are great. Sometimes phone calls and emails aren't responded to in a timely manner. That part is frustrating. My advice is to be persistent. When faced with hospice care, the nursing director really came through for us.

Holiday The Seville is working out great for my mom.

I'm struggling with the communication with them. I like the community, but I think I've been over sold and I'm having a hard time with them and communicating to me. Nothing major, but it seems to be one thing after another. All is ok!! I'm happy overall. I feel safe with my loved one's care and I really like the caregivers! They know his personality and work with him! However, it takes a loved one/family member to stay on top of the community administration and management if you want issues resolved. Micromanagement is a must.

The only complaint, that my loved one has is that they only have one maintenace person, and it takes awhile to handle requests. They check on people, if they know that they are not going down for meals. They do housekeeping once per week. It's an old building but they keep it fairly updated. They are all friendly. They are always very attentive. My loved one does not really like the food, but they have a new chef, so hopefully it gets better. Compared to other facilities, the value for the money is reasonable, considering that they offer three meals per day.

Mallard landing was a second choice, but they didn't have 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom units. She and her husband need to have a toilet available at any given moment.
