The staff seemed to genuinely care about my mom's well-being. The first few months there was a fair amount of turnover in management and some staff, but I don't know if that is an industry issue/a them problem/new management etc. Her care did not seem to suffer though and it settled down. She was always clean, and fairly happy, although fortunately that's how her dementia manifested itself. Initially, we looked at other places, but my dad liked the relatively smaller size and the value. For us, it worked just fine.

For the most part, it was fine. When he had to go to the hospital, they wouldn't allow him to come back, claiming his care needs exceeded what they could provide despite him being in better condition and making progress through short-term rehab. Also, it didn't help that this was right around the holidays, so I was scrambling to find a new facility. So as long as there no issues or major changes needed, even if temporary, it's a decent place.

People very friendly. Take care of each other. They provide good caregiving.

I think that those in assisted living would enjoy the community and accommodations. Those with dementia but not quite ready for memory care will require special assistance from family and the facility to make the transition.

Overall it is a great location. Food is above average, views are incredible, rooms are nice. High turnover in staff, but that could be more indicative of industry. The prices went up a considerable amount less than one year in, way more than what they said they expected.

I have lived in the town for 50 years. I like it here except I have no family here anymore. If a friend asked about this community of tpeople and the building I would say, its nice and the people are good. I have made some new friends.

I always rate for room to improve. Cadence has taken excellent care of our relative and we are HIGHLY pleased with him being there! I recommend it with confidence! Like most: quality of care & cleanliness. Least like: Food

If you are serious about it, get on waiting list.

In memory care The staff is very caring. They take extra time one-on-one to sit and listen and chat with all the residents to ensure all needs are being met and the residents feel heard. It's a very loving and caring and environment.

My mother had a good experience here. The staff was available if I had questions. At Nikkei, they offered Asian food choices on most days and my Japanese-American mother appreciated that. She had a private room with kitchenette and private bath, and the place was clean. She stayed busy with different classes and events, and she enjoyed playing cards with the other residents. She passed away at age 92, and she was taken care of until the end.

The staff are all quite friendly. They try their best to be responsive to problems. Housekeeping works hard, but most do not have a really good command of English. I am not sure about communication. I have been kept informed of things for the most part. I visit once a week and have lunch with my wife and the other residents. I have found the food pretty good. (That's one if the reasons I visit during lunch---I want to see how the food is.) Move-in was really easy. Much easier than I anticipated. I would recommend this facility. In general, my wife is happy there and she seems to be doing well. I had to readjust my expectations once I had some experience with the facility and the residents.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Residents are all friendly and pleasant to visit with.

The Workers are Excellent with My Dad, The Food is like a 4 Star everyday, with all day substitutions, that make sense, Tuna on Rye , Sandwich and Fries . ETC. Some of the Gym Facilities are not Complete ?? , more effort for Socializing wouldn't hurt. Computer and Speech Activities would help my Dad.

Eat there before you commit. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Recommend that for ALL facilities people are looking at. Staff are very caring. Impressive response when fire alarm went off. All staff seemed to know EXACTLY what their role was and acted quickly and what appeared to me to be appropriately.

I would recommend. Friendly/pleasant atmosphere. The entrance along with the store front atmosphere makes the residents feel like they are in a community. It's also very clean. As a family member having a team of staff members that are customer service focused is a true asset.

Lived here as a parent 7 years, when her passing was my turn 11 years.

Pelican Pointe is my home. I have good friends here and the staff treat us with care. There is plenty of stuff to do during the day or you can spend time in your apartment. I can't think of anywhere else I would rather be. All the residents wear pendants, you press the button and the R. A's. come as quickly as they can and help you. This is a wonderful place to live. This may be a rambling review but there is just so many great things about Pelican Pointe. Like I said this is my home and I love it here. Come and visit, take a tour.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Terrace at Beverly Lake. The staff was great.

Overall good place but has had a few issues recently. Broken water pipes which displaced several residents and norovirus outbreak. Care staff is non existent on weekends.

We chose Cadence at Huntersville because of the location and availability. A vast majority of the staff really do care.
