Cogir Senior Living

Overall I have been very happy with the holiday Longmont Regent in Longmont Colorado. It is a place that has a lot of character in the building. I loved the fact that they had a pool table, grandfather clock, huge hall tree, Coke machine. However these things have been taken out as they have remodeled the building. Even with those losses the building still has a lot of character. More importantly I have found the staff to be very friendly, congenial and always willing to help. The residents are so very friendly and extend themselves to anyone that is new. I so enjoy the food. The chef, I think, is outstanding. I always enjoy eating there when I go to see my brother.

Cadence at Mint Hill is very clean and the people were helpful and kind ... food not very good most days. Nursing staff is very good... I think they were my mom's best friends. She moved to [facility name removed]. It seems to suit her better.

Very, very kind. Everyone. I've been really pleased with all staff. Can't talk to the skilled nursing or memory care, but the rest of the staff is wonderful. I 100% recommend The Virginian. Best place that we looked at. It's beautiful after all of the renovations.

I have found Sunrise of Gilbert a very “homey” facility. They have a resident dog to greet you at the door. The rooms are very spacious and have a great floor plan. The staff have been very attentive to all our needs and have been very welcoming. They have a great app that keeps me informed on what is going on at the facility. The food is average at best. The dining staff are very nice but the food comes out slow from the kitchen. A new chef was just hired. The Executive Director has been very helpful.

Gilbert of Sunrise is a lovely choice of an assisted living for our 87 yr old spouse, father, and grandfather. We had excellent help in investigating the facility’s offerings. Administration has been attentive to our needs. They listen well. The decor is restful and lovely. Concierge services are friendly and dutiful. They make a good effort with nutrition. All spaces are well organized to purpose and the facility is very clean and well kept. Patio dining is nice option in appropriate weather. Family or group private gathering spaces are available. Security is effective. The location in Gilbert offers a variety of opportunities. We felt this spot was best for our loved one and our first two months have been very positive. He is very happy with the choice.

The staff is good for the most part- there are some that insist on doing things their way. (caregivers) They offer lots of activities for everyone if one wants to participate. They are in remodeling stages right now but that is a good thing. Food is good most of the time. What else can I say? People are quite friendly! (residents and staff).

My mom moved in on [date removed] into her own room and then my dad passed away on [name removed] During this difficult time the staff were great and they have been very helpful getting my mom to feel like she is "home."

The staff did not always clean apartment on a weekly basis as was advertised. [name removed] was great. The food was just okay. Lots of starches. They are very limited when it comes to activities, which was very disappointing. The cost too high for level of amenities. We have since moved [name removed] to a different facility which offers lots of different activities.

We have a 2br apartment with 2 bathrooms and a beautiful balcony.

My mother is a resident at Holiday Stratford and she likes it there. She had a few problems, but management has helped a lot. They will really try to help. The managers are very friendly and that makes all the difference. I would recommend this facility to others.

A nice friendly place for my mom. The socialization and activities are keeping her sharp.

My mother is currently a resident at Home Place Special Care at Burlington and the experience has been mostly good, overall. The friendliness and the activities are both great. Based on my mother's experience, I would recommend this facility to others.

Cogir has done a lot to accommodate moms special dietary needs, but they aren't truly ready to support plant based gluten free diets. The more requests they get, the better they will become. Move in was easy and well supported, the ambassador program seems non-existent, so make sure you have the resources to support your parent through the transition. Sometimes it's difficult to get a timely response from staff.

No place is perfect I'm sure. But I can honestly say that in spite of transitions of leadership posts, in most major areas in the community, including executive directors; ongoing renovations to meet RUI standards, unexpected infrastructure challenges; the team members, care givers, clinical staff, activities team, dining personnel - all are extremely genuinely dedicated to the well being, safety, and happiness of the residents.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall we were pleased with the facility. The only issue we ever had was when the elevator closest to my mom's room was broken for a week. I would recommend Cogir on Manteca to others.

My mom is a resident at Cogir of Stock Ranch. Generally, from my perspective, it is a very good place for her. I am confident that she is in a safe place. She is a bit more critical than I am. It depends on her mood and how she is feeling. She will be 97 years old next month and is aging quite a bit. She has been able to cover the cost with no problem. She did have a long term insurance policy that we tapped into when she started needing more assistance with her care. I would definitely recommend having families check it out. First impressions are excellent.

My loved one is a resident at Merrill Gardens at Glen Mills. Overall it has been a very positive experience. I would recommend this facility to other families.

We really loved how they monitored my father closely and called in hospice which was a great help to my father. They were on top of all aspects of his care as I felt very comfortable with his care and treatment under Cadence. The other facility I visited was fine but felt more like a facility. Cadence felt more like a home than a facility.

Honestly they are all amazing. No complaints. I am very pleased with the experience.

The people are really friendly and caring. I would recommend to others.
