Cogir Senior Living

We picked this community because, it was close to home. We were dissapointed with the food, for the money being paid. The food was not that great or things on the menu were not available, and they offered limited selections. It was a clean, and great place. The residents seemed happy.

This was a good community. It was too far from family.

Everything has been really great

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience but it was a big corporate structured community and that was just not what we were looking for, for our loved one

The only reason I gave a 4 is because the facility is brand new and not totally up and running yet. But based on our experience so far, I would recommend Ambriant at Avondale to anybody. I absolutely love it here. The location is amazing, it is in a beautiful neighborhood rather than being off of the highway like some other places we saw. The staff are all beyond helpful and could not be any friendlier. I also like that it is not a mix of independent and assisted living, it is fully independent. It is a hidden gem that I did not know about until A Place for Mom.

Cogir has been fine and is meeting my loved ones needs. My loved one is in Independent living so he does not get assisted living care. But they do what they say they will do. The Transportation van only goes 2 times a day certain days for medical appts. We were not told that at first but I think it will work just have to make appts at those times for sure.

We decided on Bay Pointe because of the two year social security spend down that they offered. The layout of the room as well was very nice and worked out for exactly what my dad wanted. Our experience here has been fine as far as moving in and getting him situated - but we are still working out a couple of kinks with the care.

We chose The Terrace at Beverly Lake because of the of the sales director, she was super nice and open. She was there to answer all of our questions and was super patient with us. It is a smaller facility and they specialize in memory care and only have about 50 residents. They used a lot of whites and creams in the facility and it makes it feels very light and airy. The daily caregivers are INCREIDBLE with her care and great with communication. Every time one of them comes into the room mom gets a huge smile on her face. They are very animal friendly, we bring our dogs every time we go in and they are super welcoming and the other residents love it as well. There has been quite a bit of management turnover since she has moved in, however the caregivers here have been here for years so that makes up for it. We have eaten here and think that the meals served are pretty good! There are 5 kids in our family and all of us are very happy that mom is here.

What we really like about Cogir is on the initial tour you get to meet so many different staff member's which is great. The staff has done a really good job so far and they are very consciousness. Our only little "complaint" we have is with the activities - they do have some really good ones and everyone is nice who participates in them but they are just not as robust as we thought they would be. We would recommend this community to others for a certain level of care that person may need

My loved one has ennoyed how it functions, the timing and availaibilty of activies, and food. The transportaion is nice. I picked this community because of the affordability, dog friendliness, and the option to get a balcony.

Overall was very pleased and came out with good feeling after our tour visit with the team and staff at Inspira Arrowhead. Is definitely on our list.

It's a great place. I appreciate the staff, and the interaction with them. They really do care for the residents. I like the intimacy of the smaller space. The dining room and activities is located in the same building. Overall, they take really good care of my loved ones, inspite of a few challenges with adjusting. It's a much better fit for my loved ones.

I have not been happy with the mask enforcement that they have - but the care for my loved one is quite good. They do have a lot of options as far as activities go, lots of things going on. The food is very good and they are chef prepared meals. Overall I would recommend Edmonds Landing to others looking.

This has been a very pleasant and calming experience for me. The people are friendly here. I am very happy in the community. The food has been improving over the months since I have moved in. The service in the dining room can be a little slow; however, they try their hardest to accommodate the residents in the dining room. The staff communication with the residents is wonderful. This allows me to easily maintain my apartment by living here in the community.

If you are looking for a comfortable, happy place to live, you must try The Lofts. The residents welcome new comers, and it is VERY pet friendly. There are all kinds of activities - games, gardens, bus trips, crafts, theater and more!

The property is good, but they clearly have some issues maintaining chefs. They can't seem to keep a chef on staff and the food has really suffered because of that. They are also having some security issues. I'm unsure if it's a resident or a staff member, but someone has gotten access to a pass key and has been going into locked apartments and stealing things from those apartments. It's happened to my loved one's friends and my loved one themselves. I personally feel it was a resident because of the type of items that were taken. Other than that we're happy; the people are really nice, the food is just not so good.

Residents seemed happy and enthusiastic about living there. Large, clean and comfortable rooms and public spaces. Loved one was there for a 30 day respite care and that the facilities location across the street from her PCP and a hospital was also a plus.

My mother is in memory care, she is in a secure area. The staff needs to do better with memory care, I believe they could improve with the care or get more specialized staff for the memory care patients. The food is good, the place is nice and clean.
