Cogir Senior Living

I picked this community, because it's kinder people, better service, and they have disability awareness. I would say it's pretty quiet and country. I would recommend to others.

They try to be helpful and attentive, but like a lot of places, they are short staffed at times. Especially at night. They have hired contract people which are great when they are there. My mother is not thrilled over the taste of the food. Just go into any place with eyes wide open and know that no place is perfect.

The main reason we chose Cogir was because of the location and how close it is to my home. What sticks out most about Cogir of Manteca would be the very friendly staff members. They have been pretty responsive to any questions or concerns that we have had. Some areas for improvement would be the activities that are provided, they need some more variety on those. I would also say that they also need quicker response times to housekeeping issues.

The community seems friendly. We picked this community, because of the price, cleanliness, proximity to us, and friendly helpful staff. I would recommend to other families.

My loved one is currently a resident at Cadence at Clemmons. They are very accommodating and work well with the family. Overall, our experience here has been good so far. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.

There is a table with tea and lemonade, sometimes snacks (fruit) that should be available between meals but they take it all up at end of meal. I've complained but nothing changed. Employees are mostly helpful but inconsistent or unavailable, especially management. Use of transport van is more limited than other places though the driver did accommodate when I went thru other means than manager. Many residents are not happy with meals, management says regular chef out on medical leave but long time. There should be more than 1 elevator for building size.

They have great activities, community and great staff. We picked this community, because of the activities and community, and engagement. The interaction with the staff was excellent.

My loved one is a resident at Cadence Millbrae in the Memory Care unit. The facility is very friendly and approachable at all levels. The staff that do the actual care for the patients are great, attentive and communicative. The meals are okay. I would recommend Cadence Millbrae as a place to check out and see if it is a good fit for their family member.

My mom was in memory care there for 2 1/2 years and passed away there. They took such good care of her. My dad has now been there in memory care also, for about 15 months. He is Mr. Social and is able to attend many activities in assisted living, too. They just love him and take such good care of him. As his disease progresses, I won't worry about his care (which is only step 1 right now) because I've already witnessed my mom's care at Cedar Village. The food is good, and Dad has close friends there that are at the same stage he is.

The food has been one of the major complaints from my Mother. They serve sandwiches for dinner frequently, with brown wilted lettuce. The activities wained for a few weeks. They need more BINGO. The apartment sizes are good enough size wise.

We thought the staff that gave the actual care to our loved one were very professional and compassionate. The medical staff/pharmacist's could have been more in turned to change in doctors orders.

My loved one has been a resident at Bay Pointe for about 2 months now, I visit once a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They treat the residents very well. The residents appear to be well taken care of. The facility is kept clean. They always answer my questions promptly. I would recommend this facility to others.

During Mom' time here, there has been a turnover of staff. I think mainly because Atria has bought the Holiday facilities. The housekeeping has been great. and is every Friday. There's no communication with us, the family. Mom does not like the food. Sometimes it is cold, sometimes tough etc. That may just be my Mom. I'm not sure on recommending this facility to others. There are features such as the bathtub made into a shower with a cutout on the side. I do not like that for seniors. You have to share laundry rooms with the cleaning staff, so as a resident you are allowed from 3:00 pm on or weekends.

We toured with Holiday The Stratford and they were short staffed when we were there and it was not as clean in my experience. These were the reasons we did not choose this facility.

We had a really great experience with the Sales Director, and the move to Atrium Village was so easy. My dad was able to tour before we signed the lease, and he was really excited to transfer. The inside of the faciity is beautiful. After moving dad in, some of us sat by one of the firepalces to just catch our breath and relax. My dad is making friends and playing pool almost everyday. He was assisgned a "buddy" for the first month to show him around and do things with. They became fast friends and he joined us for dinner, in Dad's room the last time we were there. They grab each other when it's meal time and check in one one another. There are activities that I still have to nudge Dad to go participate in , but there is literally a full calendar of things for him to do daily. Dad is on the Assisted Living side, which we are really happy about, but wish it wasn't so segregated. There is a different calendar of activities for the Assisted Living folks, so my dad is limited to the number of people he can mingle with. Other than that, we love that we don't have to worry about Dad taking his medication, and he tells me people are in and out of his room all of the time. Everyone is so kind, and all the employees are pleasant and know my Dad very well. There is a Nurse Paractitioner that visits twice a week, to see the residents and is already getting to know my Dad. There is a really nice therapy room, and my Dad goes several times a week, it's like a gym membership to him. They also coem to his room to work on his memory and he loves the attention. Lastly, the website showed an outdoor, inground pool but it does not exist. We were really looking forward to Dad spending the summer at the pool. Other than, that we are 100% happy with the move to Atrium Village and really proud of Dad for being so adaptable.

Our loved one came to The Terrace's from another community, and out of other communities we had also toured - this was the nicest in terms of the number of caregivers on the floor. The activities are also nice, and we like the security of it. It may no be the cheapest but so far I have been very happy with the quality of care our loved one has received.

Ocean Ridge Retirement facility is a friendly place. Our experience here has been good. However, the food could be better. The friendliness, staff, and activities are all great. Cleanliness, care services, and cost are good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

I toured Holiday Sunridge and it was a good tour. The facility itself was okay. The cleanliness was good. The friendliness and staff was good, also. However, it was a little bit out of my price range.

Staff were very caring but wasn't able to get any cleaning staff hired. So we had to do all the cleaning ourselves mostly. My dad loved all the activities and outings they provided and he felt loved being there. By far the best place he was at, out of the three different homes he was at.

Our loved one does bell choir, goes to church, has done astronomy nights, lots of family events, but my favorite thing is their live music and pub night they bring in great singers
