Cogir Senior Living

Our family had an in person tour with Cadence Chandler and Cadence was just way too big for mom and she would have had to be in memory care already based on their criteria(which would be more than she currently needs). For clearly independent, active seniors, Cadence is a great place.

I found that the staff is very caring there and the activities are plentiful. There is a good week rounded variety that my loved one can choose from. I'm always greeted with a smile and treated with respect and so is my mom. I'm so happy she had found a place she can call her home and has so many new friends and activities to do.

My mother is currently a resident at Holiday Longmont Regent. The staff at this facility is fantastic! They are always on top of every situation, caring and relatable. The housekeeping needs improvement. The guest eating area and windows were quite dirty the last time I was there. Need more attention to detail! The meals are decent. I would recommend Holiday Longmont Regent to others as long as they stay at a reasonable price.

each person we encountered at Cogir treated us like family. Although my cousins stay was brief, the staff was genuinely interested in his well-being. The place is lovely and the food is very good with nice variety

What we like the most about the Cogir of Folsom is the availability to talk to the staff members, however I do think the cost might be a bit high. We would recommend this community to other families but with hesitations.

[name removed], the marketing director was very helpful, listened to our concerns and needs, and offered flexible support. The care staff is friendly and responsive for the most part. We have had some instances where long response time has resulted in missed lunch or bathroom accidents. I believe the facility is growing and more staff is needed. [name removed], at the front desk, greets you with a smile and creates a welcoming environment. He responds to concerns and is very helpful. Overall, our Mom is very happy and has made some great friends there. It is a friendly community.

We toured this facility during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved one. This facility was initially our second choice, but then my loved one was sent here for rehabilitation and it was an awful experience. They are remodeling there; it will be very nice looks-wise but not friendly and not good care. More costly too.

it's been good, very positive. laundry services a bit mixed up but very caring staff. We picked this community because it felt more welcoming.

I would definitely make the same decision again if I had to do it all over - no regrets. I feel safe and relieved that my loved one is here. They are friendly, both staff and the residents. The facility is clean and fresh looking. It is in a good location. Relatively good price as well. I would absolutely recommend Bay Pointe Retirement and Marine Courte to others looking, especially because of the price point.

Cogir has some good people, and I believe they mean well, and staff are more patient and skilled than they used to be. But if I weren't proactive with calling or emailing and keeping up with communication, I would never know how my Dad is doing. They don't provide me with any kind of updates unless I contact them. I wish they would.

It was very clean and pleasant looking. I think overall Mom enjoyed her stay and she was well taken care of. But they did the best they could in a tough situation. They were very kind and communicative with her and we appreciated that. I would recommend it. It was a hard time. They were going through a lot of Covid issues so the residents could not gather except at meals. They were short on staff a lot of times because of Covid so the residents had to wait a long time for their meals.

We picked this community, because of the location. And the recommendation of a friend who is a former employee before the change of ownership. They have gotten rid of extremely good people, and have not replaced them yet. Memory care had a huge rate increase last Jan, supposedly to pay for 'improvements'. Some of the 'improvements' are laughable, some look like they needed to spend funds. Talking to a couple of care givers, the new owners would have been better off giving the workers a raise to keep good people

The facility is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere with beautiful decor and great color scheme.

It looks very clean to me. My mom has pointed out a few things that were less than her standard. I have had very little interaction with staff, but we haven't had any problems. My parents don't love the food. And there has been lots of renovation that has affected the dining experience. Activities seems good. My mom has enjoyed some activities. $7,000/month for rent and food and light cleaning is hard to swallow.

I am a current resident here at Cogir at the Narrows and currently am in the Independent living community. The residents are great along with the staff, The location and facility are above average. Overall above average.

my mom [name removed] has lived here for 2 years and although the transition to Cogir was tough, I don't think it was Cogir's fault. They have really worked hard to keep the resident's experience coherent and they have improved quite a few things. There is still some work to do with communications between the staff (who are lovely caring people, real angels) through management to family. I'm confident we'll get there, though. Mom has had to go to the ER multiple times and they have done an exemplary job getting her there and managing her return when I was not able to. I recommend you consider them for your precious parents.

Lock in the price early so you don't get stuck with a late price increase. I liked the layout and the Head Chef sold me on the meal plan. I like the "Embassy Suites" type layout and the all inclusive pricing structure saved me a quite a bit. I would recommend to others.

Our loved one is currently a resident at Cogir of North Bay Senior Living. Overall, everything has been good for her at this facility. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The care services and activities are good. The staff here is great! They have bent over backwards trying to help our loved one, who is help resistant. They are taking good care of her. We would recommend this facility to family and friends.

The community was newer and staff was eager to help. We did virtual tours and [name removed] liked the layout of [removed] apartment better. It was more convenient to where both my daughter in law and I live. Kind of in the middle. After we made the decision, an acquaintance of mine told me his mother was in Avemere, and since Covid things really changed there and he wasn't very happy.

My loved one is currently a resident at Cogir of Vacaville Senior Living. Overall, things have been good at this facility. The staff is great. The facility is beautiful. Everyone is nice. However, the food and the value for cost are not great. Most of the residents there only complain about those two things. I would recommend Cogir of Vacaville to others if you have the funds and aren't a picky eater.
