I'm very happy with Pelican Point and I think [name removed] is generally happy there. Her memory issues are a challenge, so sometimes I have trouble knowing what's actually happening. I'd like her to have a shower once a week regularly and for her laundry to be done (including sheets and towels) every 2 or 3 weeks. The staff has been consistently very friendly and helpful. [name removed] is much happier in Room [removed] because she can watch the activity on Washburn Way. Thank you for allowing her to move and for the great assistance of the fellows who moved here.

The staff is kind and caring. There are many activities but [name removed] chooses not to do many of them. The facility is clean always. I just wish they would give [name removed] a paint brush to paint a wall or a fence or maybe a hammer and nails to fix something.

A lot to like here. The floorplans we looked at were bright with natural light. There were many inviting covered seating areas outside to enjoy in cooler weather. My concern was the 90-minute mealtime windows. During our working lives we worked second shift and even retired that's our bodies' schedule. My husband would sleep through breakfast and nap through dinnertime.

Fairly large residence, pleasant atmosphere with friendly interactions seen between residents and staff.

Staff is wonderful, meals could be better suited to diabetes and less carbohydrates. First floor housekeeping is a joke 2nd &3rd floor is good. Bldg maintenance doesn't respond well to residents needs, doesn't put doors back on track when people fall into them. The executive director is wonderful.

It was good. My mom wasn't there long due to financial changes with my dad's care. Staff were nice, care-n/a, activities- did not participate, food was great. Everything was clean and organized. Room was just updated. They were updating siding outside too.

Mom comments on the vegetables, over done! They have not participated yet, but are starting to be interested. we are so new that it is hard to value yet, however, based on the experience so far we would recommend Cascadia Village to other families.

It looks nice inside, lots of amenities and seems active more like a resort in independent living section and the area is nicer than expected. So far not answering emailed questions so not sure if we want to come back in for more information. The price sheet that they give you is similar to other places, but the cost hikes based on levels of care are a little daunting. You can't really predict life expectancy vs money/ assets. Apparently, some other faculties/ communities will offer your loved one a Medicaid room if they run out of private funds after 3-5 years of paying a lot. Otherwise, you'd need to find a new place for them to live if the money runs out...

The Staff has been fantastic. The food is basically the same thing over and over. Not a lot of selection. She is still working on way finding, when I say this it is getting off the elevator on her floor, just with as little as painting an accent wall would help tremendously. Overall it's the people and so far they have all been really helpful, it shows that they truly care. We are very happy to have Mom living at Cogir of Kent.

Friendly staff but very busy running up stairs with tablets in hand, clean but very sterile entryway attractive, outdoor environment average size rooms. Only one elevator to use in case of emergency the publicity director tells me they have special chairs to help evacuate from the upstairs level similar to other assisted living facilities I have visited.

Seems a little older than some I have seen. Apartment is adequate.. Plenty of parking. Activities that I observed were well attended and organized. Overall it seemed quite comfortable.

Food is fine, all day dinning helps to be flexible but service can be slow sometimes. And run out of dinner rolls quickly at dinner time, which was a surprise. When we first moved in it was a Friday, the original sales was on vacation and no one acknowledged my father is moving in. No keys , no cable, no internet. Because it's the weekend we had to wait till the following Monday. No one knows how to help and I can hear the intercom is asking the front desk just send me away when asking for help. The first week cleaning service was delayed and no one knows how to help. Requested paid laundry service and it took a few days for someone to get back to me after asking again. I think we are just getting a bad start.

They have been very good with our Mother and everyone seems sincere and caring from the front office to the aides and food servers. Everyone is truly treated like part of a family.

This place was stunning. The facilities were well maintained and there were beautiful seating areas and activities well distributed throughout the facility. The staff was very welcoming. Two major features set Cadence apart. 1)The apartments were well played out, large kitchen, large usable bathroom, personal laundry, tall ceilings, and residents are allowed to decorate their front door area in the hall because of the well planned layout. 2) Their transportation service is not restrictive within a 10 mile radius. I love that they don't expect seniors to remember Monday is grocery day abs plan ahead accordingly. They may go any day they like. I wish the tour had taken place during some of the activities so we could the participation. We would love to find a place where people socialize with each other.

To be honest it's not a good experience to have a spouse in memory care, as for the facility it was well run by the former administration , some of the people quit and new ones have come in. Rooms are adequate size, food is excellent, lots of activities , very clean

Very good cost for the facility and service, staff is friendly and accommodating. Great experience overall.

The staff and care were exceptional when we first became part of this community. Unfortunately, the experience has declined over time, and I believe much of that is due to changes made by Cogir. Several wonderful staff members have left, including servers who played an important role in making the experience feel special. The food, which was once exceptional, is now below average. The decline in quality is noticeable, and the overall atmosphere has changed. You can see it in the faces of the employees - people who were once cheerful and excited to be there now seem discouraged. I have also had significant issues with billing. My mother-in-law was overcharged by [Amount Removed], and I received no response until I escalated the matter and included upper management. Even then, instead of returning the money that had been taken from her checking account, I was told it would simply be applied as a credit the following month. That was unacceptable. The next month, the promised credit was not even reflected on the bill, and I had to follow up again before receiving a corrected statement. Overall, it feels like this community has slowly declined from the wonderful experience we originally knew into something that is now below the standard we expected. Until there is more clarity about the direction of the community and the changes being made, I would not recommend it. The quality of care and service we originally experienced is no longer what it was.

The people are very sweet and try to be very helpful. The problem is they say yes to everything but follow through doesn't seem to happen, example there's a lockbox on the Support handle outside my door that belonged with the couple that lived here before and I've asked since I moved in to have it removed and it's still there. Then nobody answers or lets me know when it's going to be removed. That's just one of the things. I love my apartment and they redid the whole thing flooring, kitchen cabinets appliances, except for the washing machine that is very very old, and needs replacing. I finally got permission yesterday to buy a new one and they would take the cost off of my rent

We really liked the secure grounds. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and asked in-depth important questions. The residents seemed engaged with their activities.

Overall very fine experience..impressive facility.. the only negative would be the high cost but again a very nice facility and program
