While looking for an active retirement community. I had 4 priorities-location, friendliness, cost, and food. Solista is the facility that checked all the boxes. It has not disappointed me and I am grateful.

Mom was moved to the Memory Care unit about 6 months ago. There she gets much more attention and is more involved with the other residents. Since she's non ambulatory it was taking quite a while to get help within the AL area. We are still happy with the care givers and administrators. There has been change over, but everyone seems to have the best interest of the residents at heart. I know it's more costly than other facilities, but I think they are able to provide better staff and more activities because of it. We've had very little complaints, but when we do voice them action usually follows which is comforting.

Our experience at the Windham has been very good. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The food is very good with a nice selection of options. The rooms are starting to show their age a little but are kept very clean and well maintained. After having our Mom there for a month I can say that the family is very pleased and would highly recommend the facility.

Good overall caring and clean community. They keep the residents engaged with activities. I would recommend it to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

As a Pro - [name removed] the Office Manager is extremely professional, caring and quick to respond. As a Con - make sure you verify all medications and times taken (AM only / PM only) on a weekly basis. Weekend staff needs stronger communication and support from weekday staff.

They are friendly, caring and attentive to the residents. They were very willing to work with us to secure my aunt a suitable placement, for which I was grateful. My only criticism is that I'd like a proactive monthly status on my family member. I live out of state so only see my aunt periodically. I get all my "news" from her visitors.

Caregivers assist 24/7 with diaper needs, hoyer lifts. Med techs help with medication. Lots of great daily activities to fit different needs. Bus trips for shopping and casino days. Card games, holiday festivities, ice cream socials, live music on weekends. Many residents are seen out at coffee bar/bistro socializing. It's refreshing to see an active and happy community.

My needs are fulfilled living in this senior living facility. Have met many wonderful people from various places in the world and always enjoy heating their stories and experience.

It was a very good place. Great staff. Everything was good. I would recommend them.

They seem genuinely kind and sensitive to working with older individuals. They are patient and willing to make sure people understand and are heard. Staff are very attentive.

Great meals and activities. Better communication at times would be great for the residents and more dining room help. I would recommend. Very clean facility too.

Cogir is a very friendly and helpful senior center. My mom is the resident. We set her up in independent living but in a short time we now know she needs assisted living. We are on the waiting list for the next available. They are very understanding and helpful in this situation. I am hopeful that assisted living will be a much better fit for my mom. The food and dining room is excellent. The food is very good. There are activities my mom wants to participate in but she has not been able to yet.

I am learning to trust the caretakers. Most are extraordinarily kind. That includes administration! My only concern is an issue that I have found throughout this industry — it’s hard to attract and keep caring, committed, and competent staff. Like every facility I’ve looked at in the last two years — in both Washington and California — all are working with an almost skeleton staff. It’s a national issue!

Rooms are nice, new owner just finished updating the common areas. Staff has always been very nice. There's a lady named [name removed] that does all the paperwork and tours for new clients, she is so nice and kind. Always very nice each time I see her, and that's over a year and a half now.

The facility is bright and clean. It does have a slight urine smell but that is quite common in memory care facilities. The common areas are in the center of the building with an outdoor courtyard in the very center. The rooms are on the perimeter of the building, separated by a nice, wide hallway which makes a great walking "track" in an oval around the entire building. The staff are super friendly and take good care of the residents. Every time we've visited there have been ample staff on site caring for and interacting with the residents. The resident care manager, Tommy, is very responsive and professional and has kept us informed of mom's activities and care. We had a couple of hiccups with administration in the form of communication and paperwork, but once we brought it to their attention they were quite responsive. Overall, I would recommend Bay Pointe Memory Care.

When I first got here I was confussed about my needs. This apartment could have been in cleaner condition. The patio still has dead bugs and cob webs all over it. The cement has gaps and debris that needs to be vacuumed and fixed. For the most part it is fine. Not sure why cabinets and the microwave are so high in design for seniors. It is warm and dry. I looked at many places. I picked this one.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. My mother has been there over two months and doesn't have anything negative to say about the staff as well. The room is a good size, we love the fact she has a private bathroom to herself. The activities are daily, however my mother doesn't keep up with time very well and seems to miss them a lot. I have not tried the food personally, my mother told me it all taste the same. My only issue with Cadence is that she misses breakfast most mornings, and other meals at times because she isn't aware of the time.

Facilities are nice. Everything works in my apartment very well. Staff is always on top of things. Food is mediocre. I prefer to cook for myself. Activities are varied and suit a wide variety of interests.

Good food, cleaning and linen service weekly, and the staff helpers seem really nice. The community really tries to engage with new residents. Lots of activities. Maintenance can be a little slow to help with some things like cable, spraying for ants, etc.

Cogir staff are very sweet and accommodating. However, there were some initial issues with getting them to take over medication management (my grandma's only assistance). Overall it's worked out okay though. The management does a good job there, overall. - The apartment is smaller but we knew the larger 1 bedroom units just weren't available off the courtyard, and so she chose a smaller unit to prioritize her dogs. The kitchenette and lack of defined kitchen or dining space is not ideal, but she's adjusting. - I would say that the housekeeping doesn't seem to sweep the floors very well or at all, but no complaints about the services otherwise. - The food is overall pretty good. But not always meeting grandma's standards. - The biggest complaint is that they said they could take her places (non community outings and non grocery store outings) and I haven't been able to get an answer on what days or times that this service is available. I asked multiple times. I got a vague answer of when driver isn't taking people to appointments (which is Tues, Wed, and Thursday) or store outings and when driver is available. I will ask again and try to press for more info. That was very appealing that she could go some places without me and feel that independence she really wants. We can't take advantage of the community taking her to medical appointments because of her memory issues, she needs my assistance. But she could go get her nails done or go to the store without me. the nail salon doesn't do acrylic nails. That's something that we found out after the fact that was a bummer. the community is quite beautiful. They let her have all three of her pets which is so nice of them. They also have been handling my grandmother's emotional outbursts well. They clearly are professionals and skilled.
