The staff is very helpful, even when I need to call and can't be there in person. My mother has received good care. One problem to mention was when my mother was transported to the ER in the middle of the night recently, the staff failed to contact me. I did hear from them several hours later. I spoke to the administrator and requested that I be contacted any time my mother was transported - even during the night. Though I might not see the message until morning, I need to know. He agreed with me and apologized.

What I mostly enjoy and appreciate is the staff at Solista, especially the servers. Most of the residents are friendly and sociable and I enjoy the interaction with them. The recreation and other activities offered are satisfactory and enjoyable. The only complaint I have is the food that should be hot is often cold. I enjoyed my four years at Solista and look forward to many more. Thank you allowing me to be a resident.

What we like the most about the community is that pets are allowed and veterans are celebrated. There is free laundry down the hall. We also like the balconies and windows! Yes, we would recommend Solista Everett by Cogir to other families .

Helpful in choosing a room that worked for my Auntie and her inability to walk too far. Billing issues resolved though it took quite a bit of follow up. Very nice staff. The food is good. Easy to use transportation Monday through Friday.

The people who work there were very nice and patient with my mother. At the end she was roaming all around at night. She did fall there and hit her head, that is how she passed, she had a brain bleed. I don't believe it was their fault. The rooms were always clean. The only thing I would say is the food was not very good. It seems like the price they charge they should be able to provide a decent meal. Other than that, we were happy with the facility. She was there for only about a month.

It was fresh and clean wide halls food smells good The price was More than expected. But when the time comes, I will visit again. The double room could of been 50 more sq. And all bathrooms were outside of the room I get it but it seemed different.

Like people are very friendly. The building is very clean. They take care of your issues prompt. Management are nice. Dislike they do not communicate well with up. The food is good been a lot of it isn't senior friend.

The staff was friendly and helpful from the start. The food was very good and my mom really liked the bingo games. Her room was usually clean. The room itself was wonderful. It was just the right size and she liked watching the pigeons out the window. I think the only thing that was missing was getting the TV mounted on the wall. Mom did not get to become accustomed to her surroundings because she was only there for a month before she passed away. I feel like she would have had many good times if she had lived there longer. So good job Pelican Point.

This facility is new and very clean. They had a lot of activities for my love one to participate in if desired. The campus is in a good location and accessible to shopping and restaurants. Overall, a great experience touring this facility.

My mother transitioned from her home to Cedar Creek's assisted living. Being mostly independent, she was happy to downsize, live closer to family, explore new hobbies and meet new friends. She found all these here, and got along with staff, making close friends with some of them over common interests and hobbies. I think if a resident feels comfortable with the staff and management, they'll feel the support of the community. I recommend being with the resident during meals and events to see how they feel about the food, events and comforts because you'll want them to age comfortably.

As a friend and a sister, we visited Solista on behalf of an out-of-state resident who will need assisted care when she moves to Wilmington. We liked the facility and the marketing rep for the assisted living services office on the 2nd floor. However, the marketing rep for Solista itself lost our good will when he said to us: “Well, you’ve been talking for an hour and a half; now it’s my turn.” We were NOT talking about sports or the weather; we were NOT on a social visit! We were talking about Solista’s suitability as a home for our dear friend/sister! Recommending a choice for what might be her forever home is not idle talk! Despite his unprofessional attitude, we haven’t ruled Solista out. We liked it, but right now it’s only our Second choice. We want to make sure we’re making a thoughtful, informed recommendation that’s not unduly influenced by the unfortunate exchange we had with one particular marketing rep.

Visit went well. I was provided a pretty detailed amount of cost information. The facility was very spacious and clean. The eating menu had a lot of variety. The apartments were of decent size and equipped with safety devices for calling caregiver. Place is a bit on the expense side, but may be worth it.

Professional, helpful staff. Employees take time to provide information about the facility and are always available to answer questions.

Going very well. Very friendly environment. Seems like a few activities everyday. They have been great. Food/meal service could be improved, very slow. Only one elevator seems to annoy residents. I would rate Solista 4.5. Thank you for encouraging us to go this way. Fyi- it seems to be very veterns favorable. Maybe that's in every place but they all seem to be very supportive of vets and spouses

The price is very high because it is no different than living in a motel without kitchen. The only appliance is a refrigerator. Washer and dryer are down the hall. Believe the rent is twice the value. Old building built from 2 motels plus extra mid section which includes the dining room, gym, and other rooms for vitality gatherings. The are actually very pleasant.

I think they are overall good...but slow to repair any problems is the room. And I am concerned about the changes in the food. Not what it was 6 weeks ago. Less protein over all and fewer choices. Also breakfast is now a buffet...not getting what you want. scrambled eggs often.

Solista is a fine place. The residents enjoy many activities that they offer, along with their own interests. Management and employees try hard to please everyone as best they can. I am glad to reside here, and have no plans on moving out! Very clean and nicely landscaped.

What we like the most about the community is the friendliness of their staff, the food and being able to stay onsite as a visitor. No improvements I can think of.

The only issue I have is that they have not hung my mom's pictures on the wall yet. I would recommend others and my mom loves it there. and that is all I cared about.

The facility was calm and felt peaceful when I arrived. I was greeted by a very helpful staff member who took me and my friend on a tour of the facility. I inspected several apartments that were available. I loved the ones facing the great outdoors, but with my cats accompanying me - I think an inner apasrtment would keep them calmer. Or if the apartment is on the outer side, then no access to a patio or deck (kitties love to jump up and over a fence). In general, the atmosphere was calm and gentle. I'll be back ....
