We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. Overall I thought this place looked very impressive! The facility itself was clean and well kept, and the staff all seemed very friendly and professional. However, it just didn't have a very homey feel and we weren't sure our loved one would be comfortable here.

My three stepchildren and myself found this facility excellent, Mind you, we looked at eight memory care centers in the western and southern suburbs, Many were very good! this center however just worked for all of us for my wife-their mother, We just have that feeling that her transition from our home to Silverado will be seamless

We are pretty happy with it. It's clean and the staff is friendly. They do a pretty good job with being attentive, and responsive. They have a lot of activities. So far no complaints about the food. So far I am pretty happy with The Fountains.

My MIL has been at Madrona Hills for 2 months and says she loves it. The staff is helpful and friendly. The food is usually pretty great. She has settled right in. Thanks to her new friend, she even uses the bus occasionally. Everyone that I've told about the place says they wish they could live there too. The only problem I've heard about is that dogs keep barking. The place is a little old and has a few rough places but it's well kept and clean.

This space has been pretty nice for my mother so far. There is a wide variety of activities for the residents and the community spaces are nice. The residents and staff are very nice as well, they were introducing themselves to us from day one. I have some concerns with the food -- my mother has some specific needs, and they do not seem to be providing many options for her to accommodate those needs. Also, there is only one elevator for the facility, and that presents an issue of convenience and also of safety to me. Otherwise, the place is nice.

We were faced with a difficult and fast approaching situation with my dad, who did not recover as quickly from surgery as we had hoped. Unable to return home immediately, we began looking for a solution. We contacted "A Place for Mom" and they put us in touch with Emeritus. A tour was arranged and 4 days later respite care was available for our parents. Alyssa worked quickly and effectively to insure the placement was a success for all. After the move-in, our parents are very pleased with the situation and have very positive things to say about the staff, care and food. The 24/7 care for dad was an important factor in our selection. Even though it is a temporary solution; it has opened their eyes into this type of care and living experience for the future.

They don’t keep their promises. There is good parking. There is a very small patio. They play bingo and get together and play cards, watch a movie. They go out shopping or to the casino. The staff is not friendly. For the care services I would have given them a zero if I could have.

The very first time I walked into this place I knew I wanted to live here. The residents very very friendly and made me feel right at home. The Apartment that was available for me was very spacious and it even has its own little fenced in little patio. The activities are numerous and just the right number and variety for me.

My loved one is very happy here, we feel so lucky to have found this place. The staff and residents are all very friendly, and she's met many new people! The facility itself is older and could use a bit work, which is why I knocked it down half a star, but in comparison to how well everything else is working its only a minor inconvenience!

The administrative and nursing staff are excellent. The director is very involved in directly getting acquainted with my parents. The only complaint my parents really have is the food is not as good as the place they were previously. It's okay, but not the gourmet restaurant-style food and presentation they prefer. And this to me, is not a huge priority.

I've been enjoying this place quite a bit so far! The only complaint I really have is that it is tough deciding which items from my larger condo I want to bring with me here. The staff have all been super, very friendly and professional. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The facility itself is always very clean, although it is beginning to show its age. The food has been good, although it could be better. It seems to vary in quality from month to month.

Very, very nice, just out of my price range. The dining room, the food was gourmet. The marketing person was very nice and the tour was great. The residents were very welcoming. The apartments were large, even for memory people. There were a lot of military retirees which I was drawn to because I was in the Air Force for twenty years. Everything was in one building, assisted living and memory support.

Everyone has been so helpful and friendly. I'm glad that they were willing to work with my friend on her issues of smoking. This generation of seniors have been smokers for most of their lives. Emeritus at North Bay offered real options and solutions to the problem of senior care.

too expensive @ $257/day private room = $7700/month -- sounds very nice, won't open until 3/1/14? but won't fit our budget

I was very upset to have to put my mother in memory care but the staff and place at Orchard Pointe made the transistion so easy. ALL the staff are caring with the residents, you can see that they really enjoy working there and taking care of the residents. Most of all my mother loves being there, the meals and quality of care is outstanding. i am so blessed to have found this place. I cannot say enough good things about the place .

My father-in-law was here previously. It was very big. A very nice place. He had a nice apartment with a his own kitchenette. He had to eventually move out because of the dementia that he has - The Montecito does not offer any memory care. The only thing he would do is go down for the meals, and he would eat whatever he wanted because it wasn't supervised. They always had cookies and candy out. He has diabetes and his health was deteriorating. Since then, he has moved to a smaller community, and his health has really improved.

This was a special unit for the memory impaired. I didn't think my father was quite ready for that level of care yet. The place was clean the staff was just bubbly! The people that live there were well taken care of. The workers were very attentive to the people that live there.

I like it. We took my mom out of an assisted living and move her into the independent living here at Orchard Park. We still had to hire a certified nurses assistant to care for her and we're still saving like $500 a month compared to the other place. It's an independent living so the care is separate, besides the dining hall. So far we really like it. My mom is really happy there. They have wider halls and it's newer building. It's really nice.

My dad is there. There is a little room for improvement but not much. We're really happy with them. My dad probably needs a little more nursing care than most of their people there. I don't think they have an actual nurse there, they're all caretakers, so whenever he does need a nurse we have to hire someone to come in. I think it would be nice if they had a nurse on duty and the bathroom is a little tight for a handicapped person but that's about it for improvements. Pretty much every body's attitude is really good. They really seem look out for him. He's not just left alone. I would definitely like to see him spend a little less money but it's a good place. If I was older and I needed assisted living I would definitely consider Emeritus for myself.

Everything's fine, I have nothing to compare it to. It's a nice place and everything is just satisfactory as far as I can tell. The activities are fun, the food is excellent, the staff is very friendly, I think for the ones who are there, the care is fine. This one looked exactly like what she wanted so she moved in.
