Staff is very caring, both of residents and their families. They work WITH families to provide for any individual needs of a resident. I like that the facility has 2 identical floors (2 dining rooms, common rooms, hair salons, etc.) with half the residents living on each floor. It never feels crowded!

My father just moved in and so far he loves it. It's only been a month, but, so far so great. Most of the staff is super friendly, the others are very nice. The food is very good and there is soooo much of it! House cleaning/keeping does a very good job and are very friendly with everyone on site. Maintenance could be better, but, that's tough to do with only one man to do it all. Parking is pretty easy/good. The bus that serves it's tenants is easy to work with and the driver is very nice!!! I have yet to hear a bad word about much from any of the tenants and they LOVE to talk! I think this is a great place for anyone who needs little to no help in day to day life. It's a very friendly place!

I was going to move into this community but another one was a little closer. Christina is wonderful and I was so impressed with her. The community is nice and the people are friendly. They offer daily activities.

This place is great. The staff is superb. They treated our father (and us, too!) with kindness and dignity. He loved the people, the activities, and the food (we thought the food was awful, though. I had salad twice that was limp and old and the dressings seemed loaded with sugar. Service was always super slow, too.) Sadly, our father passed away. I am so glad he was staying here and enjoyed many good times and was treated so well while alive. I would recommend this facility to anyone needed assisted or retirement, or even hospice care.

My mother has only lived here for a week or so but everyone is so very friendly and helpful. My mother has been made to feel welcome. She was a bit unhappy the day we moved her bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been and for me and my husband (the movers) I thought someone could have been a bit more helpful by showing us where the apartment was, giving us a map, showing us the side door and where the elevator was etc. It was just like "here's the keys, good luck" sort of a thing. I couldn't get any info out of the front desk person who so far hasn't been able to answer any of my mother's questions...but other than that, place is clean, friendly people, my mother likes the food, her little dog is welcomed, apartment is small but nice, fixtures need some updating however, but I feel like they really try their best. I feel good about my mother being there and she likes it so far.

This is a smaller community that specializes in memory care. It is one floor and they have a couple of courtyards outside for the residents to enjoy. The staff we have met so far are friendly.

Really like the place. Staff is friendly, and everyone seems really happy in the home.

I live several hundred miles from my mother and watched her physical deterioration for several months. Her ability to care for herself at home was declining and there was no one to consistently watch out for her. I recently visited her in her new home, Garden Valley Retirement and found it to be all that was promised as well as what she had told me . She is happier than I have seen her in years and stress free. The food is great, the activities available have addressed both her physical and social needs. The staff is amazing. She is always telling me how nice and helpful they are. I saw that first hand while there. I now feel confident that she is safe and being cared appropriately for.

My sister just recently moved into this community and so far it is going good. We find that it is mostly clean in and out and satisfied with the weekly cleaning for my sister's room. There are activities available but my sister is still unpacking and has not found time to participate yet.

Mom is still settling into this community so she is not yet participating in the activities offered. We do have independent caregivers coming in to assist her. The community is really clean and the food is excellent. The chef has been there for 20 years and they offer a good menu.

Bay Pointe is a wonderful place for mom!

I took a tour of this community and I did like what I see. Everything seem very maintained in and out of the community. The staff and resident are wonderful people and so friendly. I got to see everything like the dog park. I had the tour with the manager who didn't seem busy and gave me their full attention. Overall this community is very nice.

My mother is doing very well and she really likes this community. The community is clean and well-kept, my only issue with the cleaning has been the cleaning lady, she doesn't clean my mother room very good. The staff is great, they are very sweet and helpful. There are activities for her to try, they have many for her to choose from. The management has really gone above and beyond for us. The food is nice, and they bring her dinner to her room if she can't make dinner. Everyone is very friendly and kind. So I would recommend it.

My Mother in law is settling in nicely at Gresham Manor. The community is clean and they keep it well maintained. She does participate in the activities, however she is not able to go on the outings at this time as the stairs are too high. I would recommend this community.

I toured over 6 Assisted living facilities in the last several months for my grandparents, and I really loved Cascadia Village. On our first visit 2 couples approached us and told us how great the staff was and how amazing the food was, one couple had been there for 12 years and they loved it. Michael the manager has been a great resource in helping us get information on the VA benefits that are available for my grandfather, he has made this a much easier task and is very knowledgeable on this subject. The biggest selling feature for us was that after two years if you run out of money, and medicare/medicade kicks in, Cascadia will maintain the same level of care in the same room for the remainder of your relatives stay. I highly recommend this facility, the staff and guests are very friendly, caring and positive, I really feel that my grandparents will be taken care of like family.

I had no idea where to start looking for a retirement place for a Vietnam vet that I look after. A Place for Mom worked with me to find him the perfect place within 36 hours and we signed the contract for him moving in within a week!

The staff at the Garden Club are very friendly and helpful. I found the Sales Director to be resourceful and knowledgeable toward making this change in my mother's life easier. I recommend the Garden Club.

When we moved my father in law in, his kitchen cabinets and bathroom drawers and cabinet clearly had not been wiped out since the prior resident. It was kind of gross. But beyond that, the room had a new carpet and had been newly painted. The rest of the facility was very clean, dinning room is beautiful.

We have had some issues with this community. The medical staff isn't the best, they missed giving my father his medicine four times and we were not please with that, but we did bring up this problem and they quickly addressed it. It is a nice looking facility very well kept and the staff are friendly and helpful. He seems to enjoy the food when he is able to get downstairs to the meals with the staff's help. There are pretty good activities here for your loved one. I would recommend this community to friends or family.

After checking out several assisted living places in Snohomish County, my mom settled on Cascadian Place. The price was right. They provide 3 meals/day, included in the price. According to my mom, the food is good. She had visitors one day, and all of her visitors were allowed to have a meal there as well, free of charge. The owners/co-managers were willing to work with my mom on price. Since my mom is still in the process of moving in, she hasn't participated in any activities yet, but hopefully will in the coming future.
