This place has been a great fit for our Mom. The people are friendly and compassionate. We really appreciate all the procedures put into place during the pandemic to keep everyone there safe.

In the time of Covid... Our visit was quickly facilitated. Temp check, online registering info was quick and easy. We visited out back in the shade at a patio table, hardly anyone near us for an hour and a half. We wore masks. The guy at the desk graciously took the box of things we brought for mom up to her room for us. I was hesitant to visit but didn’t need to be, I felt that we were all very safe. It was good for mom to get out of her room outside for a bit. Thank you.

I am amazed at the hard and caring work of all staff members particularly housekeeping and our kitchen staff and servers. This is so challenging and we are all trying to do our best and feel Vineyard staff is doing very well. Thank you!

Sunrridge provides great daily services for all of the residents. I've enjoyed my two plus years here at Sunrridge.

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Complete confidence in their ability to care for my parents. Accommodations are top notch. Our sales person, [name removed], helped us through the entire process and made us feel like family!

They keep everything very clean, however it is an older building. The staff is very friendly; they really make everyone feel like family. The food has been great and we have no complaints. I thought they had a nice assortment of activities; they had exercise classes, off-community field trips to places like the Kennedy Center, outside entertainment, shopping, and some other things. The Fountains is a little pricey, but seems appropriate for the area.

It is a small community which I like. Everyone knows each other by name and the community has a nice family feel. It is nicely decorated and updated but still has that homey feel. The food is very good and they have a lot of menu options. Outdoor space is great, they have wonderful rocking chairs out front. They have nice patios in the back for gathering areas.Cadence at Garner is a very nice place.

The staff are very caring, helpful , and proactive. The communication is excellent. We received daily updates and have good use of technology for the residents. The building is new, clean, and nice. We chose the community because the location is close to my parents friends, family, and church. My only recommendation is that the grounds need some improvements. The green belt grass in brown and the gardens have not been built yet.

My mom likes the art and exercise classes. My mom used to be able to walk outside in her other community but the area around the building is rather hilly and it is harder for her to walk with her walker in the area around the building. The doors in the garden area are heavy and hard for my mom to open so she has not been able to access that area on her own . The chef is good and has been there for 20 years. They have a good salad bar. The chef will customize meals upon request.

My mother has lived at Cedar Village for almost 10 years, first in Assisted Living, and now in Memory Care, as her dementia has progressed. The social integration and cognitive stimulation at this facility has been amazing. The activities have always been fun and engaging. Even now, in the end-stages, she engages in some of these activities. The compassionate, personal connection that the direct caregivers have with her has been amazing. The attitude of acceptance of the residents' behavior and their support of them provides a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The place is always clean, but I have to say that while there is no smell of urine in Memory Care, the air is always heavy with a cloying, clinging, fruity-coconutty smell, that pervades one's hair and clothing within a few minutes. The food had been good and has been average, as we've seen a few management companies come and go. In Memory care, the meals are all appropriate for this population. Due to Mom's difficulties with maintaining weight, the staff has gone over and above with monitoring her food, providing nutritious shakes, and encouraging hydration. This has been an excellent part of her care, and we are very appreciative of this support.

My father stayed in the skilled nursing facility area of Fountains, and recovered from his CHF with the help of the terrific nursing staff, PTs and attendants. We weren’t sure what to expect but were very satisfied with the experience (3 week stay).

My mother has been living at Cortona Park for around 3 months. It took time to find new doctors and follow thru with appointments. The staff at Cortona Park were and are very understanding and helpful thru the process. Staff has found a balance between encouragement to participate in activities and understanding the transition process of relocating far from er home. I have confidence that my mother will continue to make new friends and participate in more events as time goes on. The caregivers are great. They have a joy about giving assistance and not being forceful. The med techs are wonderful. The professionalism and attention to detail assures safety. It is a big relief to be able to count of professionals to take care of my Mom's medications. The procedures are in place and followed so nothing falls thru the cracks.

My mom has been here a few months with early late stage Alzheimers, after living at a different memory care facility for a year. Bellingham at Orchard has been an excellent place for her. The staff are friendly and helpful, and despite my mom's behavioral challenges, she has been treated very nicely. They make sure mom eats enough to keep weight on from her endless walks around the facility. Administrative staff is easy to work with, too, and I know my mom is very safe and cared for.

I have just spent 3 weeks in rehab at Fountain View Village. It was a totally unexpected stay following a spine surgery. In the beginning I was in a great deal of pain and scared as all of this was unanticipated. I cannot say enough for the nursing care and attention they gave me to get through this period. These men and women together with the CNAs are priceless and I will be forever grateful. As I began with the therapy, my heart wondered if I would ever go home. It was soon obvious that these guys get you exactly where you want to go with a lot of work attention and skill. I progressed so quickly with their help and direction, even I had a hard time believing my own progress. The OTs and PTs are truly the best there are and I thank them with all my heart. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the admin staff. There level of concern and help was always there & obvious. Thank you all for getting me home and on track to fully recover from a tough ordeal. For anyone having to go top rehab, don't think twice about going here. It is truly one of the best in the Valley!!

My mother has been a resident for two years & our family is very pleased with the care & attention she receives from all the staff. They have had a recent change in directors (executive, marketing & life enrichment) & we are pleased with the new staff. There is a long time resident care coordinator who is excellent & some long time caregivers, medtechs, facility, laundry & kitchen staff who are truly compassionate & caring. These employees are very valuable & our hope is that they will continue to stay & provide excellent service.

My mom moved into Avamere about 6 weeks ago, she was hesitant about leaving her home. The people at Avamere could not have been more helpful. Her transition has gone as well as we possible could have hoped, and we are very happy with our decision. Avamere Wenatchee used to be Columbia Heights. In talking with locals about residential centers to visit, I was repeatedly warned about poor experiences with Columbia Heights. Avamere is a completely separate corporation, and have all new management and staff. I find that people in Wenatchee still often refer to this site as Columbia Heights, and that the fair to poor reputation of Columbia Heights is unfairly associated with Avamere. I expect that my mom's experience at Avamere is very representative, and that Avamere deserves a much higher rating. Any issues we had during the first few days of mom's move in were quickly handled. The management have a lot of direct involvement with the residents, and the quality of care shows as a result. I would recommend anyone looking for a care facility in Wenatchee to visit Avamere, and don't let the reputation of the previous incarnation color your opinions. Avamere Wenatchee is a quality facility, and my mom is fortunate to be here.
